MELISSA GORGA: MeGo Tells All… Meeting Joe Gorga “The Cancun Untruth”… Joe’s Decision To Be A NJ Housewife… Never Argue About Teresa Giudice

July 11, 2012  9:10 pm

Examiner(Anthony Bowles): How did you and Joe meet?

Melissa Gorga : “Originally we saw each other on Spring Break in Cancun, we were so young! I was there for my 21st birthday and he was 25 and everyone from New York & New Jersey would always go to Cancun for Spring Break. We were both there and he was there with his friends and he says that I went walking by with my girlfriends and my bikini, and he remembers everything that I was wearing like it was yesterday. He pointed to me and said, “That’s going to be my wife”. His best friend that was with him confirmed this story all the time, so that was kind of the first time we met unofficially. Then we were back in New Jersey in the summer at a Beach Club and he saw me and it just went from there.”   NOTE:  This is a blatant untruth.  Sources very close to Missy have said that she met JoeGorga at Lookers while she was tending bar.  The sources swear **Thank you, Jesus; sign of the cross; kisses to the sky** that she was NEVER a stripper at Lookers… SH’s sources are extremely reliable and said that while she did work at Lookers, she was not a STRIPPER.   It’s simply a case of semantics!!

Examiner (Anthony Bowles): Do you remember your first date?
Melissa Gorga : “Yes! He actually had me come to his house because he wanted to make me dinner, which I later learned was a fake dinner! I found out once I moved in with him I realized that he ordered it from the Italian place down the street, and once I moved in and he were ordering from this place I figured it out. That night he put it all in pots on the stove as if he made it himself, it was like a big scam and I fell right for it [laughs]. He also had an artist do a lot of paintings on his wall and different artwork displayed and told me he was going to have an artist paint my face on his walls- it was kind of cheesy [laughs]. He’s very passionate, when he’s mad he’s mad and when he loves he loves. He’s probably the most passionate person in the world.”

Examiner (Anthony Bowles): How did you feel that Joe was the one?
Melissa Gorga : “It was one of those things that we went out on a first date and we saw each other every day after. We both just knew, we were at the age when we were ready to settle down. I was graduating college and he was 28 and he was done partying, so it was a good time for us really. It was instant, we were engaged six months after we met and we were married four months later, so within a year we were married. It was one of the things where I think a lot of people wait because when you’re younger you don’t have the money for the house or the wedding, but we were fortunate in that regard and it just worked for us.”   NOTE:  Missy graduated in 2004…

Examiner (Anthony Bowles): Did Joe oppose to you doing the show at first?
Melissa Gorga : “No, I was the one who didn’t want to initially do it, I was a little skeptical about it. I left it up to him and told him that it is his family and his decision, it was point that I said no because I thought that it would be too stressful. My thinking was that my life is so great so why would I change that, even though I love to sing and be in the spotlight, but at the same time I was scared because you see what happens when happy couples go on reality television- it’s like the reality TV curse. It was very important to me that it didn’t happen and we worked very hard doing the show to make sure it doesn’t happen. The final decision did go to Joe, and he’s a gambler so he said yes. It was a great opportunity and having this stepping stone for us was perfect.”

Examiner (Anthony Bowles): After so many years how do you keep interest in each other?
Melissa Gorga : “I think that Joe has his ways and he’s very vocal about what he like, he’s not the kind of guy that would go and complain to his friends and he will tell me directly. He keeps me on my toes and there’s a part of me that wants to keep him interested, I don’t want my husband wishing that I was something or someone else. I appreciate his honesty, and the same with me I tell him what I like and don’t like and it works.”

Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Caroline Manzo… “Regis and Kelly”  June 22, 2011…

Examiner (Anthony Bowles): How do you guys deal with & resolve conflict & disagreements?
Melissa Gorga : “We have different ways of settling arguments, we have two different personalities when it comes to that. Joe is a grudge holder where he can go and not speak to you for a week or two and I argue then want to hug and make up two minutes later. Somehow we end up meeting in the middle, but it’s definitely challenging for us because we’re so opposite in that regard. In the beginning it was a lot harder, but now that we have been married longer it is so much easier for us to work with each other.”

Examiner (Anthony Bowles): Did the stress of dealing with Teresa impact your marriage?
Melissa Gorga : “Thank God it has never impacted our marriage. I think it would have if it was me being malicious HEY!  ”Malicious” is Tree’s word!! or trying to hurt her, and Joe can see that I’m not doing that. He knows that I’m truly forgiving when it comes to her. We never argued about it because he can see that I never did anything to hurt Teresa and knows that I was bending over backwards when they came to my house and cook with my father-in-law and host every Holiday at my house. It never impacted our marriage and I’m very fortunate for that.”

Examiner (Anthony Bowles): What was the most difficult thing about filming this season looking back?
Melissa Gorga : “I don’t think that it was difficult, I was being real and just said what was on my mind and when you don’t lie it’s not difficult, you don’t have to keep track of what you said or how you said it- you’re just telling truth which makes it easy to film. Sitting back and watching it and seeing some of the negative things being said, I was so easy to forgive and even in this upcoming episode talking with Teresa and being happy with her and then to see the negative comments she said about my music again. It also hurts to see how her children talk about me behind my back and I know that they’re children and you can tell that it’s being talked about in their home and it hurts my feelings. It’s hard because when Gia & Milania are around me they hug, kiss, and love me but when they’re in front of their parent they talk about me in a different light, they do what their parents do-it’s sad because I love those girls.

Examiner (Anthony Bowles): What’s your relationship like with Teresa today?
Melissa Gorga : “We haven’t spoke…I went to Gia’s birthday party and went very happily. We’re just not there. What you will see this season is me trying to reach out to Teresa and call truce, so in the episodes coming up you will see where I tried and I really meant it from the bottom of my heart and I wanted the family to get back together. Toward the end I got thrown for a little bit of a loop, maybe I was being too confident in it, but you will see that I tried. At this point when you have already put your all into something how many more times are you going to keep going back? The first time shame on you, the second time shame on me! I’m happy with my husband and kids in my life and we just don’t need that negative energy.”

Examiner (Anthony Bowles): Do you feel like you ‘have’ it all’?
Melissa Gorga : “I would never say that I need more or want more, I’ve been very blessed since I was a little girl and have always been fortunate with all of my opportunities. I have then been more fortunate when I met my husband and had three beautiful healthy children and I’m able to pursue singing-which is my first love. I have been blessed in so many way and don’t need more.”

Examiner (Anthony Bowles): What else can we expect from you this season on the RHONJ?
Melissa Gorga : “I recently just finished recording a new song yesterday and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it, it’s so great and it should be out in the next month or two. It’s another dance song and I’m excited about it. As far as this season, you can expect to see just who I am and that’s a mother, wife, and how I run my family.”

I really enjoyed talking with Melissa she is great and down to earth and be sure to watch her on the fourth season of the RHONJ.  To hear Melissa’s music be sure to visit http://www.melissagorga.com and check out her singles as I am sure you won’t be disappointed! Melissa proves that with passion, faith, and love you can truly live a great life.

About Stoopid Housewives

The Real Housewives franchises have become a guilty pleasure for me and I've become intrigued by 'normal' people who would agree to put their lives on television for public display and scrutiny. What are their motives to divulge their daily routines for viewing audiences to approve, reprimand, berate, castigate, attack; basically abuse and judge? Oh, just forget about the above nonsense... the majority of these people are just stoo-pid.

  1. Antonella says:

Dear stripper, if u weren’t a poser, when u were asked if u feel u have it all, instead of saying u’ve been very blessed, u would have said that if u had a wish, it would be to have ur father with u.

    • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

at least she wasnt asked what her favorite cookie was

      • Antonella says:

I find that every girl with non gold digger intentions goes to a strange man’s house for dinner on a first date, don’t u?

        • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

well I have gone to a mans house on the first date to do worse then have dinner made for me.

        • originalcyn1 says:

I did! He cooked me a wonderful dinner but I wasn’t aware that made me a gold digger. Sometimes I think we read too much of these things. Lord, how long have we been talking about cookies.

        • SH fan says:

          Strange….yes.
          Man…..no.
He even moves like he is one generation away from monkey. I am sorry, but I really have nothing nice to say about either one of these two anymore.

        • Hate the Wench says:

Teresa did say she liked that housey. After she got the good look at it on that date the Uhaul was packed and ready to go faster than you can say “Lookers”

    • Antonella says:

ON A FIRST DATE!! What if he was Jeffry Dahmer??

      • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

Well gee Antonella I did check the Refrig out as soon as I got there.

All joking aside i took lots of risk when i was younger and now I see I did things I shouldnt have I got lucky Plus I do have good creepgar

      • Nikki says:

We would have been spared her singing…

    • lalagirlala says:

She is a poser. She flips her hair around like she thinks she’s Cher. Please just stop. Next she’ll start licking her lips like Cher.

  2. kathyf48 says:

Melissa is no good IMO Never trusted or liked her

  3. RealMafiaGrandmother says:

I really do think that, in requesting that Teresa bring sprinkle cookies to the family truce get together, MeHo was sincerely “trying.” (I will leave it to each of you to decide what, exactly, she was “trying” to do!) I am curious, however — if singing is MeHo’s first love, why didn’t she major or minor in music in college?

    • Antonella says:

She majored in getting a “Mrs.” degree and she graduated at the top of her class.

      • Whoa!! says:

The cookie comment was a dig and it would have sent me to the moon if I were in Tree’s shoes and I’m not taking sides…I can’t stand Teresa..

        • Antonella says:

For all the people who think it wasn’t a dig, let’s change the scenario. What if during that feel good conversation, Teresa had blurted out, please don’t email Danielle about it. Would that have been a dig? If the answer is yes, then the damn sprinkle cookies were a dig too.

          • Annah says:

Once you’re in a GOOD place, people can and do joke about old fights that were silly. My friends and I have done that many times…. but AFTER …. when we REALLY could laugh about it. I really don’t think Teresa and Melissa are at the point yet, so to me, it was a dig but it IS possible that she is over it and thought they were at a place where she could joke about it. To ME though, I think it was too soon.

      • Amy says:

Only if one thinks Joe Gorga is a catch. I think he is a simian.

      • Dc baby!! says:

She looks and acts like the typical hootchie mama and for all that work I am not impressed with her poisonous “catch”. Her husband talks to her and Acts in general as if he’s used to paying for any kind of sex he can get. If he is faking to be young and hip for the cameras it is a fail.

    • SH fan says:

I am guessing they didnt have an auto-tune machine in her school and they want actual singers in that field.

  4. ChiaPet says:

We never argued about it because he can see that I never did anything to hurt Teresa “”
“”I think it would have if it was me being malicious or trying to hurt her, and Joe can see that I’m not doing that. “”"

What does she call writing Danielle ?

    • Antonella says:

To make matters worse, her idiot husband just gave her a gold star on twitter for the interview cause “everyone is looking to bring her down.”

      • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

Well at least he is supportive and not telling her to shut up or calling her a Whore like Juicy does to Tre

        • ChiaPet says:

Mego even says Joe holds grudges… and by the way he talked to Teresa after therapy, and the way he reacted at his sons baptismal.
Joe is not be the sweet chode he pretends to be. ..He just hasn’t been filmed talking to Mego like that YET.

        • madepiley says:

Well true. But, in all fairness she does need to dial it back a bit so she could do with a well placed “shaddup” and I reckon JoGo calling her a whore would be redundant.

        • Hate the Wench says:

No he doesn’t directly call her a whore but he treats her like whore/poison receptacle

      • RealMafiaGrandmother says:

Just another thing the GoGos want to copy about Teresa!

  5. Whoa!! says:

She said he was 25 when they met and 28 when they fell in love and married after 10 months. I’m not math wiz but this doesn’t pass the ‘sniff test’.

    • madepiley says:

a-ha.. Now I know where the “sniff test” title of the last episode came in. Soooo right on Whoa.

      • SH fan says:

I caught that, too….She was 21 and he was 25 in Cancun…..so what 3 years later he remembered her bikini and that incident……I really cant wait for the puzzle to be finished. All these pieces that don’t fit…..but we still see the big picture….Liar Liar pants on fire.

        • old NJ girl says:

Glad I am not the only one that thought the numbers didn’t add up. Lookers is really trying to get all the good press she can right now. I think she is starting to see the headlights on the KARMA train speeding down the track right into her and PW Joey.
By the way I never thought she was a ‘stripper” but I sure believe that she was a “dancer” and cleaned a lot of pipes in the parking lot.

          • kas6787 says:

Thank God she never did use her “degree in education” to teach.. especially math !!
old nj girl- now remember , she did say she had many “hidden talents”, so maybe she is a dancer/ plumber..wink, wink. ;-)

    • kel says:

I thought it was that Joe saw her and knew who she was, but she spent some time getting passed around by other richer guys before she finally settled for him.

  6. Buck Henry says:

She can’t sing to save her self from drowning.

  7. Melissa;s collective interviews are just begging for a timeline. Or in her case a flowchart (if yes, go this way, if no…). My mother used to say when things don;t make sense, even after multiple attempts at explanation, someone is lying.

  8. Whoopibella says:

“…It was a great opportunity and having this stepping stone for us was perfect.”! Yes- trashing your family on TV is the leg up that everyone hopes for? Promises of deceit, famial drama and vengeful plots are always plan A for a husband and wife. What a sicko!

  9. morninglaurie says:

Lying comes natural to Meloiamamania. I think after awhile she forgets what she lied about and screws herself more. Which in her case she probably likes it. Yeah I guess blowmejoe doesn’t call her a whore he just treats her like one. Passion and love making are different then rutting like pigs in the mud. I think the both of them are confused about that. I have seen dogs who at least lick the others——-when done I don’t even think he kisses her….Has he ever kissed her for real on the show? Cant remember I get blind every time I think of the two of them even touching each other.

    • JD says:

“Passion and love making are different then rutting like pigs in the mud”…WOW LOL

      • Dc baby!! says:

She and Whacko Jaq are two peas in a pod. Sensitive, caring hardworking sweethearts who innocently stumbled and fell with their mouths wide open … Oops! the way their husbands talk about them seems they had many types of “education” and all of them wives and husbands seem to have their brains between their legs.

  10. Che says:

I’m going to give this one a go and read between the lines here. Both times he met her she was dressed in little more than underware and stripper shoes.

  11. madepiley says:

Oh yall this is kinda off topic but I just HAVE to share. Remember when I posted the Luann parody video last season? well the dude that does those videos(has a whole channel of funnies) is now on Big Brother and yall KNOW how I feel about my Big Brother. Kinda cool to see one of my youtube favs on the tv screen.

    • MP: I love this guy! He is hysterical! TFC!! SH

    • belladee says:

He looks so much like sonia!

      • madepiley says:

Yeah he does! So far I am liking him on the show too. Do you watch Big Brother?

        • belladee says:

I watched it years ago. I remember that Will guy who was a plastic surgeon on the dr 90210 show and a guy guy who was his side kick. I think he pulled a grandmother is dying trick that that Johnny fairchild of survivor did? I saw 1 or 2 episodes when a daughter and her estranged father were on. I watch Nick Jr. these days and probably for years to come.

          • madepiley says:

lol I hear ya. Well if you ever need a lil brake from Dora the explorer you should check it out That lil side-kick of Dr. Wills is on. And they were talking on Afterdark the other night about how he(the sidekick) had genital warts burned off on Dr Will’s show or sumpin. Kinda wonder how the rest of this cast is gonna react when he plops his disease mangled kibblesnbits in the hottub. Gross!

  12. madamedummy says:

can’t wait for this to come back & bite her in the ass …
hope dirtyD comes back & penny too..
    i’ll start watching again ..

  13. xandi says:

I can’t stand the Gorga’s. The can’t sing, thinks way to much of herself, lies, and I would guess probably was a stripper, Mel…and he is so ape like its sickening..He has the primal walk and talks about sex and motions like a monkey..I can’t stand Kathy the Popeye…and Manzo the troll…

I still like Tre…but this show is really just an ugly gang up on Tre events every week..not fun to watch at all…

  14. Stlrfan8 says:

I really only skim these things to read Ms SH’s comments/take on things in the article (and then all of the commenter’s comments)… I have no interest in anything MeGo has to say.

  15. packing_Pink_heat says:

She borrowed the story from Alexis that her husband had seen her by the pool and said that “That is going to be my future wife!” Jimbo supposedly said the same thing….first!
