Vicki Gunvalson, Brooks Ayers… “Are you REALLY 45, Crooks? You can tell me… really??”
“I am looking forward to wrapping up this season with a powerful Real Housewives reunion. This season has been full of surprises and there’s much more to come,” the reality star told ROL.
Gunvalson went on to clear up some of the speculation surrounding her recent explosive fallout with costar and former best friend Tamra Barney over Ayers.
“There is a lot that’s been said in the media that simply isn’t true. I appreciate all the fans who’ve sent me kind words of support, and while I can understand that people may be angry or confused by what the media has told them, I want my fans to know that I am strong, and smart and love my family very much,” Gunvalson revealed.
“To any detractors out there — you only see one side of the media story and the truth will soon be told.” When it comes to the main man in her life, Vicki is somewhat coy about Ayers.
“I can’t really talk about Brooks — and as all of you know we are just dating and live separately. Brooks and his attorney are currently responding to the recent media story,” she explained, referring to accusations by his ex-girlfriend Nicolette Catanzarite that he is a dead-beat dad and not paid support for their three-year-old son. NOTE: “The Truth” was told on SH July 5 when we researched “Nicolette” Catanzatire!
“Stay tuned. I am, as always focused on my family and my career.” Gunvalson pledged, “I send my love and my best wishes for each and everyone of you to have a safe, enjoyable summer. I will be hard at work at Coto (Insurance) — and on my Personal Appearance Tour.”

Exactly what is a “personal appearance tour”? I’ve heard of book tours, song tours, speaking tours, detours but I’ve never heard of a “personal appearance tour”. Maybe she is going to personally tour all of the jails and prisons there is a possibility Crooks will be sent to.
I’ve noticed that when someone says “The truth will come out at a later time,” nothing ever comes out.
If there is some truth that hasn’t been revealed and it will clear things up, why not just reveal it?

Yes, sounds like back pedaling especially the “just” dating. Heather is on WWHL and regarding the 20/20 story, she said that it was a shame that both sides of the story were not told on 20/20. Sounds like she wants to stay in the middle of the Vicki/Crooks fiasco. Willie Garson is also on WWHL. He said that on the RHOC reunion show, Tamra had Lawrence Welk Show hair! It’s so true! LOL!!!

Why is it that Tamera and now Heather think we will believe complete strangers find their phone numbers to call and let them know what someone else has done? If I were Nordstroma I’d be very upset. It sure made me not want to ever go back! Tamera always pulls this crap about “some stranger called and gave me the truth or some random store clerk”

Agreed! I like Gretchen the first two seasons, but no more. The path she has chosen is a huge mistake. Why would anyone align themselves with Tamra. She is nasty, vile, bitter and all those other things people have called her. I am still convinced that Bravo gives her a bounty for the sh*t stirring factor. Do you suppose they all sign a waiver that they cannot reveal Bravo’s part in the drama? I think they must totally instigate most of it. I don’t know why anyone with any real “authentiicity” would continue to portray themselves on the show.
Wasn’t long after Gretchen & Tamera started professing their love for one another that Bravo stated showing commercials with them together. It probably is better for Gretchen to forgive and let it go rather than stay angry all the time. But why want to be her friend? As Alexis pointed out everyone of them are fake to some degree. Puffed lips and all. Tamera & Heather can’t be trusted! They will do anything to stay important. Tamera walked around person to person starting with her icky son Ryan trying to be the star of the last of the season party last year. Vicki was sadly her last target.
Gretchen has been hard to swallow this season! She is like the kid at school who would do anything to sit with the cool kids. Even tote their books!
I seem to be missing something about the 20/20 segment on Brooks. It didn’t have any information that we didn’t already know. We knew he had been arrested for non-payment of child support. We knew he had 3 kids by marriage and one from an affair. We knew he was unfaithful to his first wife. So, none of it is new to us or to Vicki.
I think she has as much right as any other woman to date a loser. If I were her friend or her daughter, I would voice my concern without the demand that she choose between the loser she loves and her friends and family. Brooks is not doing the isolating, The friends and family that are demanding she make a choice are. That kind of demand only cements his relationship with her because you really cannot force someone to stop loving another person.
Frankly, I thought the 20/20 episode revealed far more about the character of her erstwhile “friends” than anything else. We knew the bad news about Brooks. We did not know that her “friends” would delight and revel in tweeting and retweeting about it while cackling like the Wicked Witch of the West. It really showed that Tamra Barney is vicious to the bone and sadly, for me since I liked Gretchen, that Gretchen is not much better. Of course, unlike Tamra, Gretchen has never claimed to love Vicki. Tamra’s delight in Vicki’s humiliation was far more revealing than the segment itself. She really is a vile human being.
It really would be disheartening to see your supposed “friends” relish your total annihillation in so public a way. Not to mention your family revealing such sordid details about your life. I am not a fan of Vicki, but wouldn’t wish this on my enemy. I wonder if Brianna has any regrets. I don’t know how Vicki could ever forgive her.
Ok am so pissed off. As I no longer watch any of those peoples crap I get my info from here and SH with her video blurbs.. Trash Box Tamra blurted out that Icky called her the day after Cabo to say she woke up next to a nekked man, Icky said that’s a lie and Trash Box Tamra is a liar and Trash Box Tamra wants her to swear on her unborn grandchild that’s it a lie
Wow! I guess of all the reunions I should have watched this one. I did read on some other site that Don had been seen frequenting a swingers club with a female. That he enjoyed watching others doing the bumpy mambo..My and here I thought these people were so rich that they didn’t have to roll in the mud like the rest of the low life pigs.Hmm. Vicksvapor being a whore really doesn’t surprise me. Best part IMO MLaurie was that Wretched kept poking at Alexis so finally Alexis called her out and told her to tell the truth that she has hair extensions and she got her lips done, Ms. Andy showed the clip where Wretched was asked about the lips and she denied it. Now Wretched confessed that she had both done.
I though Alexis was petty for the hair clip comment, what the hell did that have to do with anything. Maybe trying to reflect the attention off of her injected lying lips?!!
I think they felt it was significant because Gretchen has been very outspoken about plastic surgery. She has stated many times that she would never do it , she tought it was gross , put down other cast members for it and even alluded that Alexis was rediculous for having her nose job while only a few months before she had had her lips done. I have seen a lot of interviews when Gretchen has been asked about her hair and she swore up and down it was all hers and real. I think after being accused of being disingenous and fake she wanted to point out she wasn’t the only one. If there was one word to sum up this years RHOOC it would be HYPOCRITE!!!!
So, now Crooks is having Vicki pay lawyers to try and clear his name? Does anyone know if he works what he actually does for a living?

Wow! I did not watch this reunion show, but now I will. At first I couldn’t understand Brianna telling on her Mom, but I do think she is trying to protect her from the slime that is Brooks. I think she tried privately for a long time and didn’t get anywhere and she finally said f**k it. Tamara was wrong to make anyone swear on the life of Brianna’s unborn child, what an ass.
Wait, am I the only person who heard the part of the 20/20 segment that said they tried to contact Crooks and Icky at her “mansion” and at her office and she wasn’t there? Is my mind deceiving me? Must be nice to be able to purposely make yourself unavailable to comment on something and then turn around and whine because you weren’t able to respond.
Icky (or more likely Crooks) deleted all of my comments off her facebook page. Oddly, I said nothing worse than some other commenters. I was actually kinder than some other commenters. I did post the link to the 20/20 segment every time someone asked about it but many other commenters were doing the same thing. I can read her page but can’t comment or like other comments.
Well, that indicates to me that the truth hurts both Icky and Crooks.
Thank you! I’ve been meaning to pull up the 20/20 clip again. I was beginning to think I made it up in my mind that they said they tried to contact Icky & Crooks but, no was around to comment. Maybe they were thinking that 20/20 producers would skew his side because this was a piece on dead-beat dads but, why not some official statement right after airing??? This wait & see, the truth will come out is a crock of steaming hot bull shite!
Yes, I have read the SH posts on Nicolette not being what she appears to be as well. However, I just can’t help but think that it does not negate Crooks be a scum bag/ It doesn’t change that he doesn’t have a relationship with his child, doesn’t change that he called him an “extra” and does not change that he is not financially supporting the boy. I truly hope the dating/separate lives comment from Icky is her starting to distance herself from this douche. Because otherwise, she still deserves backlash for supporting the dirt-bag! Until there is tangible proof that he is up to date with his support & proof that he has tried to have a relationship with him, there is nothing he or she could say to change my mind.

The only thing Vicki can sell or advise investment in are indexed annuities or life insurance. She only has an insurance license, no securities license and isn’t a certified financial planner. Crooks could get her client list and try calling them for some questionable investments in unlicensed areas, however. Reminds one of the Armstrongs.
Crooksie has “experience in banking” i.e., bank robber? embezzlement?. Was an “employee of Trustmark Bank” i.e., bank robber? embezzlement?. I’d be checking those statements and accounting records.
