No doubt in my mind they are related. Same exact area, Tiny and Vincent both mafiosos. Both around the same age.
That said, I do feel badly for Albert as a son having to lose his father in such a horrid way. He must have been devastated.

They shouldnt be scared. Mafia years are pretty much over. Thats why these mobwife shows are on the air. NO REAL MOB WIFE would go on national TV. The “good ole days” are gone. John Gotti was the only made man who wanted to make it glamorous. Who seeked media attention. Who believed he was untouchable. Other mobs laughed at his stupidiy.
Actually real mob wives have been seen on national television. In addition, there is a strong possibility of a woman currently married to an actual mobster who carries one of the biggest names within the Italian mafia.

IMO Greg is another opportunity for a tangential gay HWs character. If Greg was involved sexually with either Manzo brother I have no doubt bravo would find a way to out them.
I don’t think Greg adds anything to the show. Although he is seriously handsome, his personality is sullen and depressive. Also, Greg is offensively bitchy, involving himself in his friends’ mother’s cat fights. Not only would my teenage and adult children not care about any of my friends, if they learned information about them I doubt they would be impressed enough to comment about it. This is unreality reality television.

I read somewhere (I cannot for the life of me remember where) that Greg was actually one of Teresa’s best friends before he went on the show. Does anyone know if this is true or just BS?
FYI, Manzo is a common name. There are tons of Manzos in Jersey City and Hoboken. “Ron” Manzo was arrested last year as a result of a sting involving the Mayor of Secaucus Elwell. So be careful, they are not all related to the Paterson Manzos.
Some of them are actually respected mobsters as opposed to “toilet paper gangstas” like Chuckie.
Antonella: Thanks! Actually saw that “Ron Manzo” item and tried to connect to the NJ Manzoids! Although that was a no-go, there might be something with Vincent Manzo… the timeframe of Vincent Manzo’s involvement with the Mob fits with “Tiny” Manzo’s. We’ll see! TFC!! SH
During my research over the last year, I actually came across several Manzos associated with the mob. I did dig deeper because well RHONJ is your specialty. When my time permits, I’ll look into it & pass the information onto you.

How old is Vincent Manzo? In the articles I’ve read about him, he is referred to as senior, but no age is given. Albert “Tiny” Manzo was born 12/12/1936, so he would be almost 76 if alive. His SS# was 147-26-****.
I don’t subscribe to Ancestry.com, Archives, etc. any more, but it should be fairly easy to find out if Vincent Manzo, Sr. and Albert Manzo are related. Maybe their fathers were brothers. The 1940 census is now available to the public, so Tiny would be part of it.
Anyone subscribing to the geneology sites should be able to find out if they are cousins.

I will definitely be looking for information that links Vincent Manzo Sr. with Albert “Tiny” Manzo and get back to you if I do find anything. It would be very interesting if there is a connection.
