We are searching for outgoing, exciting, strong, self-confident women who reside in Orange County, preferably the coastal cities, and want to share their amazing lives!
This docu-series is an amazing platform to promote current or future business endeavors, careers, ideas, etc… you can’t beat the huge publicity of a national television show to make you and your ideas a major success!

Just drop the show. Very tiresome to see the same people go through phony friendships
and whine about not having their way all the time. When Bravo focuses on deadbeat, nonworking
men like Slade and Brooks they are scraping the bottom and it is time to stop.
That`s the best idea ever it has gotten way out of hand..no story lines just yelling and acting like a bunch of idiots.the whole bunch..

Zorro: Who the hell is Jeff? And why should anyone care what he thinks?? And after SEVEN seasons of Vicki being on OC, they are NOW making it an issue that she’s not coastal? Pfft! SH
I assume Zorro is referring to Jeff Gund at InfoList dot com (above). Whoever he is.
That makes no sense, since the series originated at Coto de Caza, which is definitely not a coastal OC city.
sorry but wretched lives about 2 miles up the street from me and I’m only a mile from the beach and just got back from riding my bike down there today. so yeah she’s coastal. Plus the show did originate “behind the gates” of coto.
not sure if anyone behind some of our coastal gates would even put their lives out there as it’s mainly old money. Believe it or not, the real millionaires of OC don’t drive Bentley’s they drive Acura’s and not even new Acuras. They own industrial parks and shipping companies and usually are Attorney’s or invented something. The last thing you want to do when you have real money is call attention to the fact that you have REAL money.
Even Heathers view, as beautiful as it was, was not close to the ocean here.
I can say the same about every real millionaire in NY. None are flashy. None want to call attention to it (even in the Hamptons!!). Although old money vs. new money is different.
Same as in Seattle…..when I moved to CO, it felt like (and still does) “keep up with the Jones’”…people here take loans out for furniture for their new houses, for the love of pete. As my brother says it (about CO), everybody wears their money on their sleeve. Maybe that should be the catch phrase of a lot of the HW”s….no substance…just show for everyone else.
I TOTALLY agree, zxtry!! It’s time to stop all of the HW shows now. It’s embarassing, degrading, disgusting and demoralizing. We should all be embarassed to watch or support this garbage!

Sunshine, because I’ve watched from the beginning, but when it gets too degrading, I turn it off. I didn’t watch DC because I didn’t agree with airing/promoting the gate-crashers. I didn’t watch Miami because it seemed slapped together. I feel “dirty” when I now watch NJ and I’ll probably stop this week. The OC is getting too sad for me now too, and so set up. I do enjoy parts of NY, mainly due to Carole and the new women, but for the most part, I come away feeling guilty for watching (+ perplexed). Hope that explains it.

Shouldn’t you be married to be considered a “housewife”? The only married women on OC are Heather and Alexis. I say get rid of Trasy, Gretchen, and Vicki and bring in some real housewives. I’m sick those three anyway. All we’ll see next season is Trashy’s horrid wedding and more of Gretchen’s crap and Vicki being scammed. Alexis can go too imo.
Funny I always thought “Housewife” meant that too. The title of the show is what caught my eye to begin with years ago. Being a HW and Mom has given me many years of joy! The Grandma stuff isn’t always great. In-Laws comes with those young-ins. LOL
I’ve watch season 1 & 2 again here lately. And those women were moms and wives and one claimed to be going there but went to LA I think. But they didn’t curse,fight, and just down right awful ! When Tamera joined is when I noticed all that mess started. Then when Gretch joined Tamera about oozzed green all over the place. Thats when she would call her the R word. Would throw PP on her if shes on fire after that.
IMO and mine only. I find it sad if this has been their highest ratings ever. That means folks as a whole in this country enjoy watching that craziness. I swear OC and NJ make me need nerve pills to sit all the way through. And NY is starting off that way. Man oh Man..
P.S. for what its worth I wish they would throw Tamera so far off the show she would bounce off the moon. It bothers me to see anyone with such nasty behavior be rewarded with a payday.

I don’t see Vicki going anywhere. They really need some fresh faces on OC, hope changes are made because this show is getting stale and boring.

When all of the Housewives shows were new they were something different, some fun, a little drama but now it’s all bankruptcy, screaming, cheating, deadbeat dads, weird kids, and the Wives maneuver through life wearing cocktail dresses with 7 inch heels, tons of extensions and professional makeup for every scene, while swilling a box of wine (hey Jax). The reality of these reality shows is gone. Time to change things. Give the viewers more credit

I remember RHoOC season 1. What a difference. Even the reunion was them all just sitting on stools talking. I guess Andy was there asking questions but I’m not sure. I don’t even think they filmed together for the episodes in season 1. I think they were just followed separately. What a difference.
I think Alexis is probably out, but idk if it’s by Bravo’s choice or Jimbo’s.
Apparently Jim the Chin was overheard at a recent bash they attended saying to several people that Alexis wouldn’t be returning. I hope this is true.
Just saw an ad in a magazine, apperantly Jimbo is doing advertising for Jose’ Cuervo. It has a pic of him and AlexAss but the quote is his. Something about AlexAss being the one that makes margaritas at there house(of course cause Jimmy doesn’t do anything domestic) and how they alway use Cuervo. I guess they are getting ready for making it work with out the housewife money.
The credentials for being an Orange County housewife.
1: Overbaked skin and fried blonde hair.
2: Having a house in Laguna Beach, of course the house has to be foreclosed.
3: Dress like your 14 year old daughter.
and 4: Either having a nerdy but sneaky husband or dating a deadbeat. One of these credentials can be accepted.
You need all of the above to get on #RHOC.
I enjoyed the early seasons! It was fun seeing how they lived. A life I will never be near.
But now? If being pretty and having money cause that? I’ll keep my poor,but very sweet hubby of 26 years our 4 children and 3 almost 4 grandchildren who love me. I wouldn’t wish all that crap on any family! The women I’ve watched wouldn’t know real wealth if it landed on their head!
and we saw their daily struggles, lorie being a single mom with a teen in trouble all the time, jeana’s marriage, the kids school stuff. and lorie worked for vicki and vicki had her office in her house. i sorta miss all that.

As much as I find Jim annoying and a bit of a knuckle dragger when it comes to womens roles in his opinion, I did admire his two fingered salute on the final episode to Bravo.
That would be a one-fingered salute in the U.S., of course
I doubt they’ll axe Gretchen, she has announced that her and Slade are going to start trying for a kid so they won’t want to miss out on that.
Plus (and I have to say I never thought I’d be admitting to this, but), I have enjoyed seeing Gretchen and Tamra’s friendship grow. It has always been a thought of mine that they clashed for being too alike, but it would be nice to see where their friendship goes. I have found myself laughing with them during episodes, which for a HW programme is a refreshing change!
Bravo won’t get rid of Tamra, there’s a wedding upcoming so I can’t see Gretchen going soon either with their new friendship, i.e. how involved will Gretchen be with the wedding etc, bridesmaid, maid of honour or just a guest and so on and so forth.
I wouldn’t miss Heather, Alexis or Vicky though. There is definatley room for improvement with those three, but I would love to see Briana being a replacement for one of them (especially Vicki).
Bravo doesn’t seem to care about things like that though, as long as there is a bit of hair pulling, insults, breakdowns, foreclosures, heartbreak, they are in there faster than a flea on a peice of poo.
My vote is for Alexis and Vicki to GO AWAY!
I think your vote may be right. Didn’t we have a poster that knew some of the producers say Vicki was a pain in the ass to deal with? Although with Brooks they might keep her for drama. I think if anyone is going it will be AlexAss, I wish Vicki would go too but mainly because I think she needs to not let what will happen in her life next play out on t.v., I think she may be about to run into some really awful stuff.
Wonder what it would be like for all of us if they did stop making Housewives? Although its painful, we do still watch. Probably a new malady named Housewife withdrawal will be treated soon in many a doctors office!
