Something just wasn’t right.
There was something missing.
There were questions asked, which were left ignored and unanswered.
What was it about “Nicolette” Catanzarite? The “20/20″ piece was not complete.
On Nicolette’s FB page there is a photo of a toddler holding the child she had with Brooks Ayers, who is now three. Interesting that in all the missives Nicolette wrote on SH, that for some reason she failed to mention other children.
In fact, Nicolette has FIVE children, who are now 18, 22, 7, 12 and 3 years of age:
Nicolette has custody of only the youngest… the little boy with Crooks. The other children live with their fathers. That’s another entire story in itself…
Nicolette pays one of her BabyDaddy’s child support:
When Nicolette meet Crooks back in 2007/2008, she apparently thought she had the answer to her dire financial straits.
Nicolette’s financial status was not worth a credit score. Nicolette was being sued left and right by credit card companies.
Whether Crooks was aware of how bad Nicolette’s financial condition was is not clear; however, after Nicolette and Crooks’ baby was born, Crooks took off and Nicolette filed for bankruptcy.
There are 52 pages in her bankruptcy petition… 15 of those pages are creditors.
According to a verified source, Nicolette met Crooks on “SugarDaddy.Com”…
Crooks must have told her some good lines, as Nicolette stated on “20/20″. However, Nicolette must have also been telling Crooks some good lines herself!
What probably happened is that while Crooks and Nicolette had been learning the truth about each other, Crooks met Real Housewives of Orange County’s Vicki Gunvalson at a business convention. Crooks saw his way out with his “SugarMama” Vicki… and left Nicolette!
It doesn’t take a brainiac to figure out the rest of this “Pot Meet Kettle” scenario!
- Crooks is now off living large with Vicki…
- Nicolette is left with a baby, maybe the first of her children that she has full custody, and she is pissed!
- Nicolette wants her child support out of Crooks!
Remember the Nanny? The Nanny who wrote many, many comments on SH about Nicolette and Crooks??
The Nanny who we all at SH felt was dealt an injustice? A poor nanny who was taken advantage of by Crooks??? Crooks owed her over $6,000!! We all went to bat for the poor little nanny…
How interesting that the Nanny tried to get over $6,000 out of Nicolette first!
Nicolette included the debt to the Nanny in her bankruptcy! It was only after Ms. Nanny found out that she was not getting a dime out of Nicolette that she went after Crooks!
Crooks wrote her a little promise of payment on a bar napkin…
So… who’s zoomin’ who here??? Nicolette and Crooks attempted to zoom each other… Nanny tried to zoom Nicolette and Croods; Nicolette and then Nanny tried to zoom SH.

I bet Vicky knows full well this custody bit is a sham. It goes well with “she won’t allow me to see him”. If Crooks wanted to see his child, he would. It’s called visitation, and he hasn’t bothered with that. It simple, go to court with clean hands and get an order that is enforceable. There’s a reason he wants to stay out of a court of law and play around in the court of opinion. I can’t wait to see what that reason(s?) is….

I agree that Crooks is no prize. But in light of what we have just read here, I feel it is quite possible that this Nicky person may have made it extra hard for him to see his kid or straighten out the support issues. I wouldn’t rule out craziness, jealousy, or other erratic behavior on her part. If she is like this here, can you imagine how she can act in family court?!

Hi MP, I responded to one of your post on the other page regarding the time frame that Nic met Crooksy. Joey was born either very late Dec 2008 or very beginning of Jan 2009. Nic would have had to be pregnant since the Spring of 2008. She said she met Crooksy at a golfing event which in the SE is usually April-May. She obviously did not know him very long before getting pregnant. This is why she is probably avoiding answering your questions

Kiyoshigirl, if I may chime in. Ms. SH’s entire site is indeed about exclusive reporting; this is what she does. And this is why this site is the most popular HW-only site out there.
Ms. SH knows she may make enemies in Bravo and among many of the HWs and their families for her reporting, but the entire point is that she doesn’t care — she — and many of her site posters — are desirous of the truth, the unseemly underbelly (the true reality) that is hidden and buried.
Overall, this site is a business and as such, in my opinion, I do not see this as self-indulgent, but continued brand building.

According to a poster on Vicki’s facebook page Crooks has been twittering up a storm providing evidence that he is paid up on his child support. I’m not a twitterer so I don’t know but maybe someone on here can verify.
I’m sure he is with his wife and the children they have. Nicolette would be a different situation. If she can’t serve the court order for child support there would be no record of him being in the rears.
Well, hopefully now that he has brazenly made himself and his whereabouts known by being on RHoOC Nicolette will be able to have him served, if she chooses. This is another thing I don’t understand. The 20/20 report said they had tried to contact him at Vicki’s for his side of the story. If he has nothing to hide, why didn’t he rebut it on 20/20? Obviously, he DOES have something to hide with Nicolette. Which, in my mind, still makes him a crook and a scammer.
I’m pretty curious so maybe I’ll actually try to figure out twitter to see what he is tweeting for myself. I’ve never been able to figure it out so this would be a good challenge.
Paula, you don’t have to be a Twitterer to read people’s Tweets. Just Google their name + Twitter. Beware of fake Twitter accounts, though. Brooks said a lot of things about his finances before the 20/20 story. Since then he’s been almost silent. Here’s Brooks’ Tweets, complete with photoshopped family portrait.

MP you know the only “models” perusing a sugar daddy from Sugardaddy.com or whatever the site is, is a nuddie model. And prolly the trashy kind too. Maybe one one the outskirts of town at the truck stop. U know the places that say XXX. The pep show type of “model”.
The sad truth for Vicki and other women our age (I’m 53) is that there is a very limited amount of DECENT men out there. MANY are con artists, liars, ex-convicts, serial cheaters, p!ss poor broke, have insanely jealous exes and VERY FEW quality men–not to mention how would you meet someone decent and trustworthy to begin with? I think she latched onto the first creep that came along and paid her some attention. And I did find it quite odd that a 20/20 piece was done on a reality show bit-part character’s ex-girlfriend.
