Teresa Giudice… “Huh???”
I have to say, this week’s episode was a lot easier for me to watch than last week’s. Last week’s was crushing to live through, and horrible to re-watch. Again this week everyone gives their opinions about me and my motives, pretends to know what I think and feel, and makes their little digs at me, but at least it’s not a surprise any more.
So welcome to another week in Crazy World! I’ve been going in the same direction all season, but everyone else’s constant circles and contradictions are hard to keep up with…
I loved that when I invited Kathy to lunch, she brought little bloomers I gave Victoria when she was a baby to remind me that we’re blood and we’ve been like sisters for over 35 years. I didn’t so much love when she then said in her interview she’s afraid having lunch with me might upset her friends Caroline and Jacqueline. Who she just met. The people I’d been friends with for 10 years that she was upset I treated like family over her…
It was weird to me when Melissa said I “never tweet her” since she thanked me on Twitter for congratulating her on Twitter for her song and sending the link to buy it out to all my followers (which I happily did three more times). She says this while Joe and I are on the way to support her at the second party for her first song…

Chris Laurita says Jacqueline’s just so hurt I would even think about Danielle, especially after the whole Ashley assault case. Five seconds later, Jacqueline is defending Melissa for actually contacting Danielle…
(PS: Jacqueline and Chris know I didn’t contact Danielle, I just answered a tweet from her that was read to me on Watch What Happens Live based on Caroline opening the Danielle Pandora Box the week before. The whole twittery history is in my blog from last week.)
Melissa’s concerned I keep bringing up the past. Except me learning about Melissa talking to Danielle is not the past for me. It’s my present. It might have happened two years ago, but I just found out about it a week earlier. You saw how upset I was when Danielle brought up my nephew at the Season 2 Reunion. Of course we spoke after that, and she never admitted to dealing with Danielle at all. And of course I believed her.

Now fast-forward to last summer when Danielle tweets me and Melissa exchanges a few heated tweets with her too. I ask Melissa again about her relationship with Danielle and get an apology attached to a “well I was hormonal and hated you then.” Um, what?
I would love to believe that Melissa has changed, has seen how contacting someone she thought was her own family member’s “worst enemy” is really not right (she was mistaken by the way; Danielle was never my enemy, she was Jacqueline’s), and wants to move forward. Except she keeps comparing her talking to Danielle with me talking to my own brother. Mine was a private conversation with my brother out of love like we’ve had many times with each other about each other’s spouses through the years. Melissa’s intent was to hurt me because she hated me. It’s not even apples and oranges. It’s more like Nair and Napalm.

But as my Joe says, it is what it is. And how do I handle this new attack? I’m proud to say, unlike how I might have handled it a few years ago, unlike how I handled things with Danielle, I let it go. I smiled, forgave immediately, and moved forward. I really do want to work things out with my brother, and getting along with Melissa is part of that. I would never do — and never have done — anything to intentionally hurt her, because I love my family.
Say what you want about me behind my back. Guess what you think I’m like on the inside. But I think my actions speak for themselves. I am trying to work through my family’s very public issues with as much grace as I can. I really do want my family to get along and love each other like they used to, like you saw at the end of this episode, and I wish the same for everyone’s family, including of course the Manzos and Lauritas.
I want the best for everyone. I know and my actions will always prove it.

indicates that she was not looking for any trouble to me..she was so unaware of their true feelings..I think what Melissa and Kathy have contributed is unforgivable as family members. I think Caroline is the devil incarnate too. Jac is just a little confused, lost fish in the wrong pond, she is a nutcase if there ever was one, poor thang, get her some more wine.
Rahrah, agree with everything you’ve said, except Jax is far more than a little confused. She clearly has an alcohol/medication issue and takes her marching orders from Don Carlione, who is indeed the devil incarnate.
CJ: I think Jax is afraid of DonCaro. I think that she was told by DonCaro to cut Tre off. If Jax was so tough, she would not have shed one tear over the situation. I think her booze problem is caused by her worry over the bankruptcy and possible jail time. I think she is also feels guilty about Ashlee
Tre – just focus on your beautiful family. Take the new show deal with the other network and leave them in the dust. Love your new cookbook – the recipes are great.
If there’s another network swooning Tre and she is seriously considering it, that would explain Mz. Andy’s recent hostility towards her and the manipulated poll results on WWHL. Once Teresa is gone, I will follow her and not once again watch RHWNJ.

I don’t care what anyone says about Teresa I like her! She doesn’t go all wacko and post private conversations like ahem JACQUELINE! They way she is and has been carrying herself throughout this has made me a fan. Caroline and Jacqueline have no real reason to fight with her other than to keep a story line. PERIOD!
Nevermindyou, I agree. Caroline/MommieDearest and CrAzYJack are trying to remain relevant on the show. They are also so jealous of Teresa that they’re green. The hate and venom they spew toward her is so outrageous for what they claim she’s done to hurt them. It’s ridiculous!
All drunkacquline talks about is how great of a friend she is to people. Ummm I beg to differ, a good friend wouldn’t repeat what is told to them in confidence. A good friend also wouldn’t throw you under the bus and ambush you on national television, nor do say the other 101 things she says about her on twitter ever day. Chris needs to do an intervention (awakening) with his wife.

If I remember correctly, Napalm is a gas that was used extensively in Viet Nam and is very dangerous. In the movie Good Morning Viet Nam, Robin Williams said “I love the smell of Napalm in the morning.” as a joke on the radio. I also think it may have caused many military men to be very sick, but I could be mistaken.

I would have never started watching this show had it not been for Tre. She is fun to watch, such positive energy. Her family dynamics is refreshing and uplifting. Now the show is hard to watch and disturbing. I have no hopes that Bravo will change the storyline now that is why I hope Tre gets her own show on another network.

EXACTLY!!! Teresa is a victim of editing, and the Manzos/Lauritas benefit from editing. BRAVO knows Teresa’s financial situation AND the other families’ situations, and yet where did you hear about the Manzo/Laurita financial issues? From the show? NO WAY!!! Sites like SH spilled the beans on those. I know that Teresa alluded to her financial situation in the tabloids, but why is it that so many of the conversations on the show are about Teresa’s finances? They gossip NONSTOP about that. And these are some fake-ass conversations!!! (ie Jacqueline and her patio confrontation “you need to tell me what is real….are you going to jail? ARE YOU OKAY???). Teresa’s face during that entire conversation was like “please stop talking about this. Don’t do this to me”. Then Caroline comes rolling in like a Mack truck and escalates it even more. Tell ya what, that conversation supposedly lasted FIVE HOURS, and there wasn’t a single moment of it that WE saw that didn’t put Teresa on the spot, I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if at some point Teresa brought up the Laurita’s issues, how could she not? Seriously, Jax deserved it, even though i don’t think she came up with that “confront Teresa” idea on her own -it was either Bravo or Caroline, IMO. If the Laurita money questions did get asked, no way Bravo would air that. “Go at Teresa HARD. Don’t worry, if she talks about your problems we will just edit it out”.
They probably want to phase out the Guidices, that is why we are seeing so much of the Manzo kids, Greg, Rosie, and maybe even that married woman who was rubbing up all over Rosie in the hot tub. (Oh, those crazy Manzo kids, what are those scamps up to now?! is what they want us to look forward to, but every time i see them i personally think “are these losers on house arrest??? they are always together!!! Is this show their job??”)

Also i do see that she has zero self awareness like on this last recent episode she said she didn’t need therapy, that if anything she was “even more understanding than ever”. Okay, i’m not seeing that, but that’s just me…. My objection is to the fact that she is being so cruelly targeted by alleged friends and family. It’s just too much. If they don’t like her, they should just stay away from her.She’s a real person with real feelings, and this is very hard to watch.

I couldn’t stand what they did to Danielle. It was devastating, and had to be horrible for her girls, too. She must have really needed that paycheck. I didn’t find SH until very recently, so i don’t know what people were saying, but you are right, Danielle had issues. She seemed very blindsided and very ALONE. And Teresa was terrible to her, right along with everyone else.

You know what is crazy? How this season was all geared to ‘tear Tree down’ and what it managed to do was make many of those most cynical of Tree into her supporters. Not withstanding her debt and bankruptcy craziness and the misappropriation of information there that ended up not even going into bankruptcy of course.
I cannot see who is drinking the anti tree koolaid now without any doubt to anyone else.
But there is time for things to flip. We shall see.
I started to pay attention when Teresa went to work, it really surprised me and showed that she had depth and was willing to work.

I needed to check in here because some heavy stuff has been going on in my reality. My uncle, my mom’s twin brother, passed away friday. He had cancer. It was mercifully fast once he started going down hill but still very hard. Had the service that he designed from start to finish and it was beautiful. Perfect tribute to the man he was. Momma will be coming to say with me for a few days after tomorrow so I will not be commenting as much. Grief is for the living and something we all have to get thru in our own ways. I know my uncle is at this very moment with Jesus and that makes my heart soar.
So sorry to hear of your loss. I’m a believer in life after death.May it bring you comfort to know that he has begun his journey to a kinder, gentler place surrounded by love and light. Sending warm thoughts your way.

I just watched the above video with Reunion 3 (that was filmed before Season 4 that we are now watching). How does Chuckie justify accusing Teresa of telling her that she did not want to make up with her brother? How is that possible? We are in the middle of Season 4, Chuckie claims she is no longer Teresa’s friend, she says on camera to JoGo that she hopes that they can make peace, Teresa and JoGo are going to therapy. So when exactly did Teresa make the BS statement that she “told Chuckie that she did not want to make up with her brother.” Lying sack of doo doo

S3 reunion was filmed the day after the Posh event and last taping of season. Episode which will show Angelo and ” expose” MeHo stripper past, which she denies…Everyone blames Teresa, reason why Jaco didn’t attend reunion.

I love Teresa’s blog, although I think she must have had some help writing it. I don’t care if she did, in fact I admire her for it. She’s learning and growing and listening to her PR people. She’s cominng off so much classier than the others and I say good for you T!!!

I give credit to Tre. Her family was up against the wall and she got out and worked. Drives to book signings. Works with a publisher, a PR team and her family to write cook books to bring home the bacon. Sells T-shirts, wine and other stuff. No crying for her. She knew she had to keep her family together and she went out and did it.
They are all jealous of her. Tre has charisma, some luck and a lotta hard work. God bless.

i just want to say i respect teresa’s work ethic. i met her in person, she came to the restaraunt i work at in totowa, nj for a book signing, the pictures are on her website. she had a line wrapped all the way around the shopping center a half hour before she even arrived. she drove herself and arrived with just gabriella. and she brought the books in her trunk and actually tried to help us carry them inside! we of course refused her help.
and she sat from 5-9 signing books and taking pictures and didnt eat a thing. i know thats not nobel prize worthy, but she clearly cares about her fans and didnt take a break at all or act like a “celebrity” who deserved special treatment. she even paid the $10 for her greek salad and wouldnt let us comp it! this was about 2 weeks before season 3 reunion and she didn’t even speak a word of the other ladies the whole night that i could hear. and she was smokinggggg hot as hell in person. what a sick body for a mom of 4

I have her first cookbook and was looking through it today. Tre really has changed. She looks so down to earth in her cookbook and season one. Becoming a celebrity definitely brings out the polish.

Until Tree realizes and accepts she’s married to a classic sociopath (she needs to look up sociopath) a mental disorder for which there’s NO treatment, cure or meds …. NONE … she will live a life of H e l l. As time goes on, hubby ‘Joe Socio’ will get much worse, not better. That’s how it works with socios. She needs to get out of that marriage, asap, but in a safe manner. I have a feeling (but not sure) her parents are also disordered like her hubby, and if so, she needs to also sever ties with them as well.
She needs to get something on ‘Joe Socio’ (shouldn’t be hard all socios screw up eventually) so he ‘goes away’ and then she can safely leave with her kids and start a new life instead of being his co-dependent/victim — its a REAL BAD example for the kids that will surely blow-up in her face in 10 (or so) years … guaranteed.
She has a very bleak future ahead with him in the picture. She needs to get him locked away by secretly hiring a PI or someone to follow him around and find out whatever illegal crap he’s up to so she can safely get away while Joe is behind bars and then leave that dysfunctional family for good … with no further or future contact, none … zero … etc. Just leave, start a new life, but not as a co-dependent victim all over again … and don’t look back. Takes brains, guts and courage.
I do think though, that she’s scared AND way too addicted-to-the-drama to move forward and cut ALL ties for good. And that’s a real shame. This means that when her kids are independent adults (10-15 years can fly right by) two of them will not have anything to do with her and they’ll sever all ties when they have kids of their own AND the one who doesn’t leave, will stay and cause her lots of pain, misery and heartache. She’ll later regret that she didn’t leave him … especially when Gia is much older and throws it in her face and doesn’t let her kids around Tree.
If hubby ‘Joe Socio’ is in her life, then the second-half of her life will be a nightmare once the kids are older … and she can also become seriously ill. Most co-deps/victims of socios get sick a lot or die young or lead a lonely life if they don’t get away in time. Mark my words — my prediction.
I think your reading way to much into what you see of Joe. He is an ignorant, belligerent,chauvinist ass, that has a over in flatted image of himself. I’ve got a feeling he is very much like her father.
Holy crap.Cyn u nailed Juicy spot on!! I believe Teresa’s exposure to TV and meeting people outside of her small circle may benefit her and her girls by getting them out of that cycle where they think that Juicy is the norm.
I remember the scene when Papa Gorga was so mad at Mel because he had gone to their house twice and they weren’t home. When Mel suggested he call and let him know he was coming if looks could kill she’d be 6 foot under. They say women marry their Fathers. I think this is why Juicy gets along so well with his Father in Law, they are cut from the same cloth. IMO it’s also why they both don’t have respect for Little Joe because he doesn’t rule his household his wife does.

Hey Cyn….I agree with you 100%….while Joe clearly has his faults, he in no way even comes close to exhibiting sociopathic behavior. Having had close personal experience with THREE classic cases I can spot them fairly easily. A sociopath Joe is NOT!
Tre is getting smarter. She is all woman – and that makes her dangerous. Why fight the hubby now? Get the finances under control – your own income. He’s going to do time for the license mess and then will be released to a halfway house. She has time to start a new strategy on how to support her family, keep her businesses going and get away from him. She has to – Juicy Joe has an alcohol problem, a criminal record and major financial problems. And he won’t listen to anybody.
I would put my money on Tre. Caroline – all hot air. Jax – a walking mess. Dina – she is taking care of herself and her kid and not letting the husband situation derail her. Melissa – delusional about her talent but pretty crafty and streetwise. Kathy – a wannabe – she’ll be fine with Mr. Gas Station.
Teresa and Melissa are BOTH so full of it, and of themselves, that it’s become a sickening show to watch.
