Bravo star Aviva Drescher says Harry Dubin, the son of prominent Washington, DC, philanthropists Richard and Elizabeth Dubin, owes her $294,372 — which includes child support payments for their son Harrison, 10, plus an extra $50,000 in fees for the child’s private school and summer camp. Dubin denies the charge.
Dubin and Drescher divorced in 2005, and according to sources, he has not paid child support for at least a year. Aviva claims his wealthy parents have not listened to Drescher’s pleas to help in the dispute.
Aviva, now married to Reid Drescher, accuses Harrison’s grandparents of deciding to “divorce themselves” from their grandson’s needs. Aviva told NYPost: “I am very sad that this father has abandoned his son. I empathize with all women and children who have been hurt by deadbeat dads.”
She also claims Dubin owes her an additional $80,000 in child support for the past year. A source said, “Even if Harry is bitter about the divorce, his son shouldn’t have to suffer. He has no health insurance.” NOTE: Is Aviva serious??? Bringing up HEALTH INSURANCE??? For a child??? The majority of states have excellent health insurance for under 18 children… not welfare, but excellent insurance coverage administered by BC/BS. AND… it’s free. If Aviva doesn’t want to go that route… Between Reid and Harry, they can certainly afford to self-pay for any medical problems concerning Harrison. This health insurance jab is BS!
Dubin says: “This is totally untrue. The amount I owe is minuscule. I love my son more than anything in the world. I see him all the time. My parents have nothing to do with this. This is what happens when you get divorced.”
Referring to a court order issued in May requiring him to pay $294,372, Dubin said: “The majority of that was a legal bill, which is obscenely enormous. If Aviva wants to utter untruths about me, she’ll have to live with that for the rest of her life, but I will not discuss my son in public.”

Regarding the Guidice Bankruptcy, I know Joe and Teresa jointly filed – but in the clip at the lawyers office (I know, who knows if it is true) the lawyer suggests that they are separating the claim and Joe’s is going forward/finishing and Teresa is going to pay her creditors back.

I could be wrong, but I do believe they are referring to the split between personal and business. Joe filed for his business(es) and T filed for their personal debt. Something like that.
I’m assuming Joe’s business is an LLC and separate from their personal debt. Most of the debt is for the business. Teresa is responsible for their personal debt as well as Joe.
I’m pretty sure that they were referencing the fact that Juicy’s debt (against his partner) were not dischargeable (meaning he lost the adversary proceeding) while Teresa’s portion was dischargeable (meaning the partner did not meet the burden of proof of clear and convincing as to Teresa)
Thanks for the info… I wonder what the amount was for their personal liability. Perhaps if they do separate it – Teresa can actually pay for their personal debt. 11 Million just seemed like so much. I am sure she does quite well – but, not that well and I wonder what she gets when the debt collectors, PR people, Bravo, the publisher and everyone else gets their piece of the pie is. How much will be left?

Ryan was my hero of that episode! not many people know outside of OC he suffered a horrible accident and has recovered remarkably. To see him shut her shit down and not get involved was HUGE growth! I’m so glad it got noticed on this blog. I just thought it was great as that kid took a beating in the blogs for a long time and clearly has come a long way.
I liked that too. It’s nice to see kids stand on their own, whether their mommies like it or not ( Manzos).. He was awesome.

ok it was a while ago and only a blurb in the paper that I read so I might not have all the details right. when he used to help rep this “energy drink” (or something like that) long story short he fell from a roof or something kinda high and landed on his back. you can probably google it. but it was pretty bad and I think at the time when he was all ripped from steroids and working out so he recovered from the accident AND got off the roids and (imo) is humbly (and honorably) building his life up without this show and all its notoriety.
He is lucky he came out of that without a serious addiction to pain meds.

Just as Teresa fans were saying what is written is always what was said. For all we know she may have said that he failed to make the payment for his insurance and it was cancelled. It takes months to a year to get reinstated if you are dropped from a policy no matter how good your health is.
Thats true Cyn. But in Harry money world its not a oopsie forgetful failure to pay. It has to be delibrate. Now that Harry aint gonna just be a goodtime charlie slingin his ding dong all over town I look for his kid to not be on the show anymore now that the child support issue has been brought up.
