On The View, Giudice sat separately from sister-in-law Melissa Gorga and cousin Kathy Wakile, telling hosts Barbara Walters, Joy Behar and Elizabeth Hasselback: “We have family issues that we need to resolve and I didn’t think that today was the appropriate time, you know, in front of an audience and it to be done in just a few minutes.”
The cast members all had separate dressing rooms and that Giudice jetted straight out of the taping after her interview because “she didn’t want to sit around and listen to what the other ladies had to say about her.”
NOTE: Tree was catching a plane to Miami!

Goodness, I wish she could speak with one modicum of eloquence. You know how Caroline says “read between the lines” well when you hear T speak you kinda have to and guess what….she’s trying to defend herself. Bless her soul, she’s not successful at it, but she’s trying.
You know, after watching the segment, she wasn’t bad at all. She came off genuine and her lack of “eloquence” is actually endearing and makes her look “not rehearsed”, unlike the other ones.
Tre really needs to start rehearsing answers like Mego does. Mego came on the View itching for a fight, she was amped. But the loudest and clearest voice is often the least truthful.
A waste of time and energy. The view ladies have made their oppinions and dont know whats going on…
Tresa should not feel like she has to not resign just because of them. And yall are right about her lack of eloquence, she gets on a loop with her talking points. But she does try.
She doesn’t try hard enough. It was painful watching her explain. She’s like a scratched record.
If I hear her say “Family is the most important thing to me” 1 more time I’m gonna hurl.
*cracking up*
It’s like ‘Love Tank’ with Icki. Noooooooo!!!! – Wings
If family wasn’t the most important thing to Teresa, she would expose her brother for the piece of trash he really is. Let’s talk about his brushes with the law, or the fact that he is a total failure if his father and Teresa’s husband had not bailed him out dozens of times before now. He thinks he can stand on his own stumpy legs? Let’s see if the Marcos, Manzos or Lauritas bail him out this time.
just curious Antonella, I read on SH the other day about his net worth. Ms.Sh had a link up and I checked him. His Net worth was only 1.5 million. While that sounds fabulous to alot of us I was rather suprised that was all he was valued at. I would have thought with all the property he “owns” that he would have more. Your post seems to confirm my suspicions? any thoughts?
I am surprised he is worth that much considering his “holdings” are in properties that have plummeted because of the market and his debts continue to mount. Also what financial institution is going to loan him money considering what a buffoon he is on TV. When is the last time u saw a “developer” who spends the summer months following his wife around and going to exotic vacations to film? Isn’t it strange that Bravo has never filmed him at a job site or at his work office?
Antonella, you forgot about that one lame, I mean totally real scene where MeGo “popped in” to bring Joe the picture collage for his office. Then he walked her around the ‘hood showing her all the buildings he bought, one for each kid. Yea, totally real and unscripted…
that scene is actually what promted me to ask that question in the first place
Hmmm good point
I thought Teresa did okay. Is she the most articulate person in the world? No. But she’s also very limited by what she CAN and can’t say about the REALITY of being on a reality show, which is the PRODUCERS gin up all this sh*t. Melissa and Kathy are EVIL, no doubt, but BRAVO not only gives them a platform, but encourages them to amp up the drama. Teresa also can’t say ” Yes, reality shows are evil and god knows I wish I COULD just walk away, but I have crazy debt and this is a good advertising forum for all the products I’m pushing that are keeping my family afloat financially. Plus, my husband might being going to jail soon and I’m the only breadwinner, so I’m no position to turn down ANY job.” The rumor is she’s getting her OWN show on BRAVO, so we’ll see. Teresa ALSO can’t talk about all the dynamics of these negotiations and possible scenarios and cast changes that might make returning more palatable for her. Like if Jac and Caro get fired ( likely ) and they bring on someone who’s going to give Melissa a run for her money ( also likely ) , the heat will be taken off of Teresa and the focus on the Gorga family troubles might not be as intense. So Barbara’s REPEATED inquiry basically implying she must not hate it that much if she’s willing to consider returning is not really fair. Season 5 is likely to be a whole different ball game.
Barbra did no research on the franchise or much of anything for that matter. She flat out admitted to not knowing anything about it. She served no purpose in interviewing
Agreed
I agree. I also think that having Teresa in the middle with all the women shooting questions at the same time from different directions didn’t help.
(sorry NJ….i kinda repeated what you said downthread before I read your comment)
she was the same way with Taylor Armstrong to.
and boy was that obvious…..she should have kept quiet.
I’ll even say that if the girls weren’t all talking on top of each other that
Tre might have been capable of executing better answers….
I also agree … B W obviously feels these women are beneath her. Whoopie seemed to feel she was above all the nonsense – she was totally not engaged, probably thinking about her grocery list. Joy’s dig saying T doesn’t want to take a back seat and asking what Teresa’s problem was (which garnered Melissa’s “exactly, that’s my question”) proved she doesn’t listen and has no problem being impartial. Sherri tries … it’s kind of sad. Elisabeth is an idiot … She kept asking Teresa what show she was talking about, RHNJ of The View. She’s so vapid, she makes those 3 women look like geniuses.
Poor Teresa she is just horrible with her wording. She stumblesmbut looked beautiful. Melissa’s make up, Horrible! Also she never lets Kathy speak.
And she wonders why she gets called raccoon eyes
There’s no doubt Melissa IS more articulate than Teresa. But l think ppl give her a little too much credit in that dept. She’s no Einstein, just more fluid than Teresa. I think Melissa real strength over Teresa is she seems to have an ability to control her negative emotions in key situations. Teresa is very…very bad in this area. That doesn’t make Melissa a better PERSON though – to me at least.
Mego practices her lies. BTW she said she never asked Teresa for an apology, but I seem to remember a summer soltice episode where she was screaming at Teresa to apologize to her.
she practices in the mirror, just like Tyra says on ANTM lol
she seemed a little angry and she came off as a bitch. And I’m glad they showed the clip of her challenging Teresa to a fight. Teresa is getting better at public speaking. She really is. Not that she will ever be good at it, but…………..
She knows how to push her buttons. She has knife inside and twisting before Tree knows it hit her
There was not exactly thunderous applause when Teresa asked the audience if they wanted her to stay on the show..crickets….people really are starting to get tired of all of this
I don’t think anyone could hear her. Everyone was just talking over each other at that point.
I missed the view as my dog has first priority and he had to go……I watched the clip and yeah Tree needs to be more prepared when she goes on those kind of shows. The stumbling around makes her look dumb and I don’t think she is all that dumb. Personally I think Babawawa wanted more drama out of her and didn’t get it.
I do wish that Teresa was more poised and articulate in speaking. I think she goes in with bulletpoints, but maybe she needs to write out word for word what she wants to say, not just in interviews, but everyday situations. Sounds crazy, but it helps and after a while your speech begins to flow better to where you don’t have to do it anymore. I had a speech problem from being so shy and rarely speaking, and an accent, and finally decided to try this. I’d even write what I wanted to say when calling to make hair appointments. Don’t need to do so for everyday situations anymore, but in stressful circumstances, I still do.
Lana, that is wonderful advice for anyone/everyone in any situation! You go, girl! And thanks for the tip!
The view is an embarassment to women. Are there 4 dumber human beings in the world than the women on that show? Do they not have producers to prep them on their guests?
when she was asked…. do you resent your brother putting his wife before you….. she should have answered…. i resent him putting his wife’s desire for fame before our, mine AND Melissa’s family….. that would have been effective.
Tre did okay.
Love her or hate her, and yes she is not the most articulate, but Teresa’s version has never wavered. Her story is always the same. Kathy and Melissa obviously rehearse and alter their stories to make themselves look better or to make Teresa look worse.
Teresa came off as someone on the edge of a complete meltdown. She looked as though she was about to bust out crying…… : (
Teresa has excellent representation, they have clearly devised a new strategy for her to follow and it is winning by a mile. She looked amazing, she articulated herself well (for T) and she stuck to her talking points by getting all her products promoted. It’s a win for Tre.
Melissa on the hand was all over the place she was narrow minded by focusing on issues that The View did not have a clue about and did not have the gumption to change focus in the small segment she was given. So it’s a big fail for Melissa.
Going back to Tre and her teams strategy of not wanting to talk about any drama is genius in my eyes because if Tre is not a willing participant then none of the others have a story line and will have to pick up their pay check at the door. Seeyawouldntwonabeya
I am glad she is listening to the advice more then she listened to the Talent agent who tired to get Gia more work.
Ugh I know. SH should have just kept it on Lisa V instead.
