Just one question. If you had a brother that you loved and were best friends with for over 20 years would you be upset if you no longer confine in him and expect him to be there for you? The former Looker Dancer grew up with 2 sister that she is very close with and another sister that she never mentions. She had them as her BFF’s for 20 years. All the sisters and husbands get together multiple timeseach week but yet Teresa can see her brother. Joey TOLD Teresa about rumors that Juicy was cheating on her and yet she isn’t allowed to say the same back to him about his wife? Teresa’s youngest daughter would not even hold Joey hand at the beach because she didn’t know him. His excuse was he was always working but yet he is at EVERY meet and greet, Every out of town strip, Every party with her family, Every Sunday dinner with her family, Every bar opening with her and her family. He spent 30 minutes with Teresa for Christmas almost 2 years ago now. He said on the show that he doesn’t like Juicy because Juicy spends more time with his family. Seems to me that Teresa doesn’t want Joey all the time but a couple times a month might be nice for a quick dinner, talk on the phone, play time with the kids, family dinner. It would be not different if Joey was Teresa sister instead of her brother.
They impression that Wendy, the former Looker Dancer and a few others are leaving that Teresa is sexually interested in her brother is beyond sick and disgusting by a group of low class mindless scum!

I agree and I think looking at it from a psychological point of view, Tree can’t admit out loud that she made a mistake with Juicy and is expecting her brother to step in and be the pseudo head of her family. In many ways in Tree’s mind her brother Joe is the perfect man (not sexually) and she is reaching out to him in a very strange way for help with her situation.

I think the reason that they aren’t close and don’t see each other has to do with the fact they don’t get along. Joe doesn’t like Joe. Teresa doesn’t like Melissa. Joe can’t force Melissa to like Teresa and Teresa can’t force Joe to like her brother. I think both brother and sister need to set the tone of how to get along and the spouses will follow.
I come from a tight knit Italian family and am close to my brothers. I understand where T is coming from and its creepy and gross of anyone to insinuate something wierd about it. My brothers would never treat me like Joe Gorga treats Teresa. There is a certain loyalty and trust in old world Italian families and that’s a fact. If your not Italian you prob wouldn’t understand. If I tell my brother something in confidence about his wife its kept private and vice versa. That’s because we care about and trust eachother. It sounds to me like Joe Gorga is totally whipped by his wife and she seems to manipulate his view and relationship with Teresa. If he had a backbone or any class he would have immediately set Melissa straight when she joined the family that his family is important and to be respected. Period. The jealous one’s in this situation are Melissa and Joe. Teresa had the fame and success and they wanted it. Melissa and Joe are very selfish to come and do nothing but trash talk Teresa. They have no other relevance on the show other than they are related to Teresa! They should be ashamed for what they have done to this family all to have their 15 minutes of fame.

I feel very proud to be an Italian and no we don’t expect our siblings to put us before their wives and kids. But there is a certain level of respect and love that you have for your blood relatives that is instilled in us. There is nothing wrong with having your brothers and sisters back or defending them. What is wrong is throwing your sister under the bus on national tv and airing your families dirty laundry for the world. Teresa never talked about her family problems before they came on the show. That says alot. Joe and Melissa are thinking of their own best interests pure and simple. They have admitted that they werent getting along with Teresa when they signed up for the show. I’m sure they realized it would be awkward to say the least, but didn’t care. Melissa and Joe Gorga are not innocent like they make them out to be pure and simple. Teresa is not perfect but noone deserves to be ganged up on the way she has. Its horrible and wrong. Melissa has even said her self that they didn’t mesh well and both had a tit for tat thing going on, does that warrant taking Teresa’s friends, trashing her every scene, talking about her financial problems? No.
Also, I”ve never heard Teresa on the show or interviews say she wants her brother to come over her house everyday and neglect his family for her. She has said many times she wants them to have a close relationship like they used to. Sounds like she was a best friend to her in some ways. The poor woman is bankrupt, having marital problems, having her friends treat her poorly and her life splashed in magazines. She probably wants to have her family there to support her, respect her, have her back, lean on, just like any other human being would. Her brother kicked her when she was down.

I didn’t hear her say that at the pool party. I recall her saying that that’s the way things used to be (Joe coming over all the time). Regarding what you said about Teresa saying she put her brother in front of her husband, she seems very old school and feels blood is thicker than water ( i feel like that to an extent too). The divorce rate is 50% in this country, your immediate family is forever. Obviously they where brought up very close knit and she married, 27 years old, so there is a long history and bond there. I can see why she would feel/want that loyalty to family. Regarding the conversation she had w/her brother about Melissa cheating, she has every right to share her concerns w/her brother. She thought they were still close enough to share confidences but obviously not. Also, after what Melissa did getting on the show, Teresa knows what she’s capable of and is probably scared for her brother. A friend, sister, parent would and should voice those concerns. He is a real jerk for repeating it to his wife, all their friends and the whole world. He wanted to make her look bad.

Teresa was part of the Gang that went after Danielle so the way I see it she is getting her just Desserts When you act liike an animal towards someone the tables will turn and people will treat you the same way eventually. I agree about the Danielle situation to a point. Caroline and Dina started that whole thing by showing the book around town and Teresa got swept into it. I never liked the way she treated Danielle but it was very clear that the Manzo’s started that whole thing rolling. Teresa’s mistake was standing behind/being loyal to people she thought were her friends. She is not perfect and I’ve not always been a big fan of hers but family going against family in the way that her brother has is low.
Also, I think she cares for her brother/has loyalty to him a little more than he did for her and its tough for her to accept.

Regardless of what Teresa supposely did or didnt do to them, they went on that show with the intention to cause problems and ruin her reputation. How does that make them better then Teresa? Why is she so obsessed with Teresa that she even blames her having to move on her? 3. She said it was her ‘dream home’ which Joe surprised her with the plans for christmas so why would she sell it? 4. She said she didn’t just move in for the show because she lived there two years prior, but, the show started two years prior and she was campaigning eversince to get on couldn’t she have moved in to entice producers to hire her? 5. how did tree attack kathy last season when kathy is the one who constantly wanted to ‘talk it out’ and by ‘talk it out’ I mean ‘tell Teresa that it’s all her fault’ 6. Why does everything come back down to Teresa with these two? Is there nothing else of interest in their lives?

Petitions to not work. Bravo execs will only laugh their patooties off. There is no way you can prove the accusations leveled at Cohen (“bullying Teresa”), etc. The parents gave permission for Gia to be on the show and for those scenes to be filmed.
This petition sounds like rabid Teresa fans and Bravo could not care less. They care about ratings and sponsor dollars, which are both still very high. No petition will ever change that. If a few hundred Teresa fans boycott the show and not watch it — it will not make them lose dollars.

Here is my problem with the producers of the Wendy Show, RHONJ and I am sure other TV shows. Wendy’s producer is professing her love all things Wakilie on her twitter TL. She has been hanging out at Kathys house with the whole family. There are pictures of the Wakilies with the producer on her TL.
I have seen pictures and tweets back and forth between the producers of RNONJ and the cast. All of the them including the Manzo kids are having dinner and drinks with the producers except Teresa. To me this is a MAJOR conflict of interest. These are not businees dinner and drinks which would be understandable if EVERYONE was there but this is “lets all hang out on Saturday night” type of relationship.

When the producers of ANY of the so called reality show producers.. cross the line and become “friends” with certain cast members rather than doing the JOB of PRODUCING a show… it becomes predjudiced to favor certain cast members and while not their job.. editing what we see to favour those THEY LIKE. Losing site of what the real role of a so called reality producer should be , well what any producer should be. Which should be limited to ..oversee all aspects of video production, ranging from show idea development and cast hiring to shoot supervision and FACT- CHECKING and being responsible for the television show’s OVERALL QUALITY AND SURVIVABILITY.
This entire concept is entirely lost on the HW shows producers. It comes down to unprofessional producers promoting /editing storylines which used to be screenwriters or just the average joe blow writers job to do and calling it reality with an obvious bias.
A perfect example was the producer for RHWOBH.. WTH did this dweeb get to blog about the show ?? WTH did he have to “defend ” Kyle’s actions on the show ? What “producer” feels the need to do that?
With NJ it’s a “young” group of producers who have let their identifying with certain younger cast members or what they precieve to be more gay friendly members and andy butt kissers of the cast to be a-ok , no matter what nasty things they do and say. As a sister to one of the best people on the planet , my gay brother , I find their sneaky and petty way of pretending they give a crap and portraying only one of the men on the show to be less than politically correct when the others are just as stupid , very insulting. Not to mention the VERY bais slant of everything else shown this season. Come on .. the “evil mastermind” Tre has sooo wrecked your lives and brought you sooo much pain and misery that you have nothing else to talk about for a whole season ! Melissa’s bringing the kid’s presents to pre-school just gives her yet another opportunity to “explain” to the teachers WHY she is doing that.
I agree with Melissa on that point. The kids are not involved, dont punish them. We don’t talk to my SIL, but I still buy her kids xmas and bday gifts. Not only does my son not get one in return, but there is no acknowledge or thank you for the gift we gave. She is using the gifts because if she wasn’t she would leave the kids behing at my ILs to be more spiteful. I am not their aunt by marriage, but she is the blood aunt to mine. I find it sad she does not acknowledge his existence. Never even glanced over at him. I will continue doing the right thing so I can look back and know I never let her change the person I am and continue being an example for my child by not acting spiteful right back. Maybe one day her children will know I was the better person.

Personally I think that Teresa has poor verbal skills. I also think that she would love to give the kids presents but since Lookers and PW don’t invite her to parties or over for cake she didn’t remember that it was their birthday. Lets face it. We are all busy and have multiple things on our plates. It is hard to remember special dates for everyone’s birthday. Looker could only point that that ONE present that she missed. Teresa is a birthday party girl and celebrates her kids birthday’s with cake and party, some just small and other years big parties. Lookers and Mr PW took the baby out to a restaurant and gave him a slice of cake then hurry off to party. Antonia was in IL for her birthday and only had a cake becasue it was arranged by the same person who handled the meet and greet.

Italians are like that though. When someone is giving a gift they expect to at least get invited over for cake and coffee (100%, off the boat Italians, not 1/16 italians..LOL). I totally think that’s how she meant it, like there was no party or even just cake and coffee, so why do I need to give a gift? I didnt make the rules, just lived them..LOL. I am sure that kind of tradition will die with my 1/16 italian children. In general families get together for birthdays and thats what makes the day special. Dont know why Melissa doesnt make a big deal out of their birthdays because now is the time where birthdays mean so much to them.

I concur completely with the Italian perspective…I really “miss” my Italian in-laws about many things but NOT THE DRAMA.. It was sickening to watch from an in-law perspective. Melissa is american. She is probably 3rd generation and at that point all the traditions aren’t as strong and mix with american traditions.When you immigrant here you go to a town that all the other Italians from your town immigranted to, so the traditions are strong because you still live amoung your people.
Everyone talks about what well behaved kids Mel has. Maybe it’s because Mel is never around and they view her as a stranger and when they are all together all attention is on Melissa. Teresa makes it more about her kids, then herself, always bringing attention to her daughters. She is so proud of them. I bet Bravo doesnt film Mel’s kids because either there is not much interaction or maybe Mel doesnt want to be upstaged by her kids. Didn’t you see that Melissa had to put herself in the xmas card? Kathy and Melissa Gorga play the game well….they were active participants on getting themselves on the show…the Danielle connection is just the smoking gun. They play nice with producers and people that will further their career…..which is smart business sense. Kathy’s new friendship with the Wendy producer is only to build her contacts. The relationship with the meho, kathy, and Caroline with the Bravo producers that film the show is disgusting. It is downright unethical to me.

I just checked out the twitter link and it seems like they are all buds. Also noticed Wendy’s producer tweeting congrats to Andy Cohen. You mention the connection to US magazine and its funny because if you go to US weekly online they will post articles about RHONJ and Teresa and all the comments from readers are negative against Teresa and pro Melissa and company. Very interesting. It almost seems like Bravo is trying to sway public opinion to favor Melissa, etc. Though can’t see how anyone could think that the way they are doing and how they got on the show is ok?

Oh who…you make me blush…I was in a high school band that played a few gigs around town, then I went to college and got married. After trying to get my children into the Home Alone Movies, they asked me to be an extra and I spent the next four years being background to almost every movie shot in Chicago. That is when I started strutting my stuff in front of the camera and I beat out 10 other actors except for the funny man in the porkpie hat. He and I had to walk in front of Harrison Ford for twenty times before they were happy with the shot. Good, good times.

Is it true that the Home Alone house is the same house in Christmas vacation? I think I heard that but I cant remember where but I think they said that that particular neighborhood is used in a lot of movies. Neat stuff. The movie The River was shot around my area and people still talk about it. My husband went to school with a kid that was in that movie. I think its sooo cool when Australian actors nail the Appalachian accent. I looooove accents.
sorry, mp, christmas vacay house is in CA. Home Alone is in Winnetka, outside Chicago. I thought maybe it was the same as the Planes Trains house, but it’s in Kenilworth, another Chicago ‘burb.

About 20 years ago there was a local boat company that was trashing rolls of soundproofing for their boat engines. Hubby has his soundproof toy room now. Keep your eyes and ears open.

I hear ya. That particular room overlooks the lake so when everyone is in party mode down at the dock they love to hear his jams.But the peace n quiet lovin fishermans…not so much.

Wendy Williams is disgusting and crossing the line when she starts insinuating that there’s some kind of incest thing going on with Teresa and Joey.
I think Teresa has made it pretty clear that growing up she and Joey were best friends and were close. They had no other family here other than Kathy, so it’s only natural for siblings to have a close relationship. I think in Teresa’s head family is number one no matter what — even when you’re married. Spouses come and go, but blood family is forever. She expected her and their immediate family to come first, not Melissa and his in-laws. And I actually agree with that.
Melissa and Kathy have nothing to talk about if it isn’t about Teresa. And FYI Melissa, who care if Teresa didn’t get Joey a birthday present? Melissa didn’t even have a birthday party for him, so Teresa may have forgotten his birthday. i don’t remember all my neices, nephews, cousins, etc.. birthday unless they tell me they’re having a party or I’m reminded of it. It’s natural. But Teresa had birthday parties for her kids and Melissa STILL dropped off the presents at the pre-school. Not making excuses for Teresa, but Melissa spins everything around and constantly tries to manipulate things so that she’s the victim.
