About Stoopid Housewives

The Real Housewives franchises have become a guilty pleasure for me and I've become intrigued by 'normal' people who would agree to put their lives on television for public display and scrutiny. What are their motives to divulge their daily routines for viewing audiences to approve, reprimand, berate, castigate, attack; basically abuse and judge? Oh, just forget about the above nonsense... the majority of these people are just stoo-pid.

I never thought I would have something in common with Tina Fey. I really couldn’t stomach RHONJ last season and I’m not going to tune in this season. I’m sick of the fake drama and those women huffing and puffing around. I think I have made a conscious decision not to watch shows where they A. Attack each other or B. Use their position on a reality show to create smoke and mirrors or a high and mighty vibe. (DonCaro I’m looking at you.) I will say that I will probably keep track of NY just to see if they’ve changed from the mess they were last season and BH to see what they do with the Blowfish.

This is coming from someone who used to be on top of all of Bravo’s new shows, now I find myself changing the channel or more frequently not watching tv as much as I used to. Thanks SH for the great website – you are often in the know about what’s going on more than the entertainment reporters who are supposed to have the inside scoop on this stuff.

I agree with Tina, NJ is just too much. I rarely watch every episode, or I just check out the info on Comcast to see what an episode is about then I skip it. I watch Atlanta even less, I just can’t relate.
