”It was a who’s who of Miami’s socialites as well as a bevy of Bravo TV’s Miami housewives one recent afternoon at the beautiful Star Island waterfront home of shoe designers Donald and Lisa Pliner.
But during this shoe showcase of Pliner’s 2012 fall collection of fab footwear, there was some major drama.
Bravo TV was on the scene taping scenes for the new season of “Real Housewives of Miami” and there was plenty of tension in the air that nobody was outwardly admitting to.
That is except for the event emcee, drag diva Elaine Lancaster.
“Well, it certainly is Miami’s who’s who. It’s very MacBeth-ish,” said Lancaster. “There’s a lot of tension in the air like someone is going to get stabbed.”
When asked why there was so much tension, Lancaster replied, “Because you’re dealing with a bunch of catty women and egos. In fact, I try to emulate the best that women have, unfortunately, that’s a bad quality that some women have.”
In addition to Lancaster, other new “wives” on the show include model Joanna Krupa, plastic surgeon’s wife Lisa Hochstein, dentist/model Karent Sierra, and lawyer/chef Ana Quincoces.
The returning cast members are Adrianna De Moura, Marysol Patton, and Lea Black.
Black said that she wasn’t sure what the drama was about. “I think there was a little conflict among a few girls that maybe they could have handled it at another time, at another place but it happened here.”
The second season of Real Housewives of Miami is expected to premiere in September.”

The ONLY reason I a going to be watching RHOM is because of Elaine Lancaster.
The only reason hetero males like me will be watching is for Joanna Krupa. I guess I’ll watch the whole season with the volume on “mute.”
