Kathy Wakile… “If Bravo wants some fightin’… they gotta get me a house, too!”
Remember Kathy takin’ everyone on a tour of her Jersey Shore house?? There was something about her house that just didn’t look right… it was TOO perfect. There was no personalization in any of the rooms and every room in Kathy’s shore house screamed “decorated by Pottery Barn!”
Since MeGo has a shore house, as does Tree (really, HOW do Tree and MeGo continue with the facade of financial security?) … Bravo had to get one for Kathy, too!
What would a good family fight be without one of the players… and to play, Kathy needed a shore house of her own!

I think they are trying to find their way to the Hamptons. Remember last season when Don Carlione tried comparing their family to Christie Brinkley and Billy Joel’s daughter’s family; both children of priviledge? I couldn’t stop laughing as Christie Brinkley kept as far away from Don Carlione’s table as she could. All the while the don was stretching her neck out and gawking at Christie trying to get acknowledgement.
Don Carlione thinks her family is Hampton material. lol
as someone who spent their entire life summering in the hamptons….the manzos are a freaking joke. such low class italians w/ mafia connections. caroline’s own father-in-law was gunned down in a car. no spin can change that fact.

I knd of knew that. I’m from Jersey too but live in LA now & we used to Co Op a place in Seaside Heights with our cousins the Piergrossa’s & other families. Like timesharing. I’m sure Tree Giudice’s is much the same or at least owned in part by other family members. I think Bravo helps thes egals put on as long a sthey can match it. I hear that is why Trailor trash Armpittstrong is getting da boot & so did RHOA’s Sharade Whitfield. Those gals have no other source of income & what they tried to do ain’t working so basically they can’t come up with their half. Gretchen Grossout & Slime Slimey will be next just watch. Teresa & Melissa & Kathy like Vicki G in the OC & Nene are willing to work thier butts off to come with their part so Bravo will keep em. This video was kind of cute I love Kathy & her family.

Not shocked at the rental info. These are all the perks that Kathy and her creepy husband wanted from the show. I remember from the insider information from production posted on SH a while ago that Melissa even got an advance on her bravo check to glam up her house. The Gorga’s and Wakile’s were desparate to get on the show for the Bravo Checks and perks…..so why wouldn’t they take full advantage. Melissa, Kathy and their husbands are all about free stuff and their new found fame. Fade fames and this 15 minutes will not last…..hope it was all worth it in the end.
I imagine since Teresa is paying her judgment off in cash she can afford a larger shore house.
They are nothing but a bunch of wannabee’s who will be forgotten. They put real housewives of NJ to shame….

I wish the real housewives of NJ was actually real housewives of NJ. This has turned into real drama of the joodice/gorga FAMILY. I don’t care about your family issues. I have my own crazy sister in law and if I wanted to be entertained by crazy family drama I would call her. I want to see real housewives with real money doing their thing (NOT GOING TO COURT). Sorry I just am so tired of hearing about this one family. I liked season one because it was about more than ONE family. Season one was several familys. Now more than half the cast is Teresa’s family?! I <3 the drama between jealous strangers trying to be friends and one up the other but this family crap blows!!!

Figured it was a rental. You’re right, everything was too perfect and they never mentioned it before on prior Seasons. What utter BS that Bravo is ‘faking’ houses in promo video bits on their website. Geesh, are we supposed to be impressed even if she actually owned it? Also, I agree if a little digging was done, one may find that the other houses may be timeshares (at least Teresa’s, as MeGo’s is a bit of a dump and likely he bought it at a good price but obviously perhaps the recession hit him and it’s nowhere near livable!)
I kinda figured that it was a rental, what I think is funny is Joe and Melissa’s shore shack (I mean house), that thing looked like a section 8 shore house. Also more about the whole Melissa and Joe thing. Read this and you will find out alot about them.

I can’t watch the video, nor do I think I can watch the next season of NJ. You already know before it airs, that it’s all about attacking Teresa. If Teresa left the show, who would Caroline choose as her next target to bully? These shows are losing their luster…

I don’t even know where that house is…. I live in Ortley Beach NJ for more than 30 years and have sold real estate in the area and still can not find out where that house is located in OB or any other town around here…
Well I’m sure being a “Housewife” does have it’s perks. Teresa bought their house in Stafford, NJ a, “shore” town adjacent to the beautiful Long Beach Island, NJ, in December 2005 for $347,000. And, btw, the Hamptons is nothing like it used to be years ago, when you and your family vacationed there. It’s still charming, but since being discovered by the Diddy’s and 50 Cents it’s lost that feel of exclusivity : (. The LBI oceanfront in NJ is actually gorgeous though; the powdery white sandy beaches haven’t been bombarded by the Shore “trash” and I pray it stays that way.
I live in Stafford. She lives in Beach Haven West a section of Stafford. I’m going to have to ask around to see if I can find out where she lives. I so love her….I would just like to see the outside of the house.
Her house is listed as Sylvia Lane in Manahawkin. If it’s the house I saw it’s a small bungelow. Going to recheck.
I deiced to do some research myself, being a Toms River Resident for over 12 yrs now. I found Joe & Melissa Gorga’s House on 11 Mermaid Lane, In T.R. I made appointment with the realtor to see the inside of the house. I was SHOCKED when I walked into the house. First I went to the house a day before and peeked though the windows because there’s a 4Sale sign on it. The inside was a MESS furniture thrown all into the rooms. When the realtor took me in the next day he straighten up the house for me. Joe Gorga says he’s a “Great Contractor” well dear Joe go back to this property and clean it up and get some permits and follow the zoning laws like everyone else dose. He took the garage and turned it into the front rm when u walk in. The Furnace/AC is up in the attic that you have to pull down the stairs to get up there. the house has NO closets no washer & Dryer no closets, The 2 closets I seen u need a 6Ft. Ladder get inside of it.
The cabinets were a mess it was like he threw it all together for the show. Doors opened opposite direction when u walk to the backyard and you step into the BBQ which is bar attached. which took up the entire small backyard. Everything he did he was no in zoning laws, he built a big tremendous Fire pit on the corner of his property blocking the neighbors views of the water that’s illegal. He built a 2 ft step down the length of the small backyard so you can get to the dock there was no railings nothing to hold on to as you step down this BIG drop. This was a accident waiting to happen. He’s above the law with no permits for ANY of this construction. after you get in the backyard you have to be careful while walking around so you don’t fall into this big oversized built in green slim of a pool. No railings no fence and no permits this house was a disaster I also pointed to the realtor that Joe has a Gun sitting there in the closet. Anyone could break into this house and steal it. This house was thrown together just to impress the Bravo audience. If Joey was such a good contractor he should have gotten the proper permits to build this dump of a house. By the way the bulkhead is need of repair that’s $ 40,000 & up. Melissa is not clean as you think she is. There was Pickles and red wine in with mold growing on it. when you look on the side of the house he threw all the debree so his people next door have to look at that junk all the time. I Found Melissa’s mother’s house on the dead end cold sac and the house looked a little worn down she lives behind Shop Rite off of Fisher Blvd. I found Melissa’s sister Lysa’s house her home was in foreclosure. Her husband Richie this is their second marriage. What a mess all fame whores. What people will do to be on T.V.
PS: has anyone realized how much Kathy and Richie smoke weed from the bong. Aren’t they concerned that their kids are watching them?????.

I know nothing about this area but I get the impression that when they all talk about going down to the shore they are all referring to their inlet-view summer homes. And it makes it sound like they are all right next to one another. This would not be appealing to me AT ALL. When I go on vacation I want to get away from era one. My step-mom and dad has 2 condos in Hilton Head(decorated very very similar to Kathy’s rental) and my aunt has one in the same complex. When they are not rented out they hang out together down there. And they have made lots of hangout with buddies down there in the community so I get that some people like to be sociable on vacation. I am not that way. I dont want to make chit chat with strangers (and barely with family to tell the truth) when I am on vacation. I dont want to have to plan my meals around ANY freakin body when I am at the beach. I sound terrible I know but we dont get to do the summer vacay that often due to my husband’s busiest time is in the summer(certainly can never imagine spending an entire summer in a second home rental or otherwise) so when we get a chance to get away I want to be left alone.
Anyway, my question is are all these shore homes with in like walkin distance from each other?
Our place is a condo at Kingston in North Myrtle. I wouldn’t trade the exclusivity for any dollar amount.
That sounds nice Antonella. Do yall get down there often? I haven’t been to dad’s place in over 3 years. We really do NEED to get out there more often. But even if we could summer is usually all rented out and the beach in January is a cold proposition.

No, we were more into yachts instead of summer homes, so all my kids are water babies! one of my daughters is a master diver,EMT, Master Diver instructor and Cave diver. She loves her Job and is really good at it. She use to work with Autistic children but with all the cut backs had to change careers. She has been featured several times on womens divers magazine. bethyscuba you can find her on utube.Is my momma’s pride showing through! I did design her logo though.

No doubt. Good job momma. I have major respect for people who work with children and to be a skilled diver on top of all that is just gravy. Must be magical for her to see the impact it has on an autistic child.
My Bethy is a magical human. She has a way of bringing out the best in people which makes her a blessing in this world. She was more than sad that because of finances she had to leave her field. The truth according to her is that these children taught her more than she ever taught them. Is my love showing?
Yes. I suspect she became such a blessing in this world because her very first teacher(you) is pretty special too. I have watched how you handle the rare sticky situations on here with such grace Cyn. So I dont doubt for one minute that your offspring is anything less than spectacular.

Cyn. U must be very proud. Working with autistic children is very rewarding. My husband does as well – using music therapy as his modality. Does (did) ur daughter use her scuba/diving/water knowledge in her work?
No she didn’t but did use sports. Her original field was sports therapy!
We go a couple times a year and especially in summer. My bf golfs, so he loves it. The building is called the Brighton at Kingston Plantation. It’s paradise after being in Jersey thru a harsh winter. We don’t rent it, but let friends stay when we’re not there.
Oh cool. Golfing is big in Hilton Head too.

Figures. I will have to check that out. My house is pretty peace in quiet too. Thing is I dont drive a boat so last summer we only got out on the lake like a handful of times. Husband tried to teach me to drive it but I get soooo nervous even out in the wide open part. Always afraid I will hit a downed skier or run it aground. I cant imagine ever being able to navigate the cove.
Get yourself a jet-ski so much more fun than a boat. The faster you go the better it drives and you can cut up so much more. This from someone that now navigates with a paddle boat or as I call it my thigh master.
This is what my son’s heart’s desire is. A balls to the wall jet ski. Someone stole our paddleboat
Worth every penny? Sounds like something for Santa to consider. How do you steal a paddle boat? I’d take a good hard look at both Joe’s. Have they been spotted in your area lately?
That was my thought too. We spent an whole afternoon on the lake trying to find where the thieves ditched it because I assumed it was just kids takin it for a joy ride. Its heavy as crap so whoever took it took it off the lake and they had to come in dead of night armed with someway to tow it away. Creepy.

It was very heartbreaking for me because it was a fun exorcizing thing that me and Gabriel really enjoyed doing together when no one was around. Such fun in an old timey kinda quality time kinda will never ever be able to recreate those memories again kinda way. Whoever took it really did a mean thing.
I call mine the thighmaster! On a windy day it’s a real work out.
I that’s too bad, and yes, agree w cyn..side eye at the two joes ,,lol. Don’t be surprised if u find it around the lake (?). It more than likely was kids joy riding. We found ours months later on the other side of the lake. If not for a few points of differentiation I would have never even known it was ours.
PS my Friend who is a police officer told us its very hard to steal them cos (as u pointed out) they’re very heavy and even with a trailer u need two-three guys to lift it onto the trailer.
I wish I could find it. We had took taken the canopy off of it so it would have been easier to identify if we had left the sun-weathered one on it.
My heart leaped once because we saw a blue one(ours was blue too) tied to a dock a few coves over. But then realized that one still had the canopy attached, it was just down. And I admit I was sorta relieved because the next action would have been confrontation and I might have had to hurt someone’s feelings as well as clobber their head. I was pretty pissed over the whole thing. Whoever did it was mean as a striped snake is all I can imagine. Its gone.

……this whole thread took me through many emotions….proud mommy (my kid taking AP chemistry and english next year, she turned things waaay around and I’m so proud, there have been many challenges with her and school)
I’m divorced so no vacation homes…(the closest thing is my friends place in AC)..and I can’t afford her guitar and piano lessons right now
but i did just start a business (nothing to boast about yet) and my daughter is helping me work on the curriculum for a youth employment training program i’m starting soon. My goal is to build a legacy my daughter would be proud of and take over if she chooses.
MP: No mechanical craft allowed… you will only hear birds and leaves rustling. It’s hidden purposely! You could stop at the WI Dells to get all your vacation ‘excitement’ out of the way… I know lots of people consider the Dells very tacky, but IMO, it’s a fascinating place. TFC!! SH
