Elsa Patton… “OK, OK… I’ll stay! Don’t taze me, bro!”
Although it was a benefit for The Little Lighthouse Foundation, a non-profit organization that “rallies volunteers and conducts high-profile events to benefit children and their families throughout South Florida,” Saturday night’s Hearts & Stars gala at the home of socialite Malinka Max (more on her later) and George Wallner turned out to be yet another opportunistic spectacle by The Real Housewives of Miami, namely Elsa Patton, who we are told was overheard complaining “What is this horrible event? I’m ready to go.”
We can’t tell you whether or not the event was horrible–not everyone loves a splashy gala. What we can tell you is that the producers are completely exploiting “Mama Elsa” as a sideshow attraction in order to keep those rubbernecking viewers coming back for more.
As for Malinka Max, a socialite whom some say would have been an excellent addition to this cast, we’re told “She was horrible on camera.” How much worse than the others could she possibly be?
Anyway, stay tuned as the cameras continue to film at the opening of every envelope and toilet lid around town.

Why is Elsa allowing herself to be exploited by Bravo producers?….someone her age should not be subjected to any of this crap. Do the producers say to her…it would be good for your daughter’s part in the show?
As for her face….I’ve chosen not to disfigure myself in the name of looking young, but different strokes and all.
You can’t exploit the willing. Elsa must have signed a release for another season and knows exactly what she’s doing. The Miami Herald writer was just feed some typical Bravo-PR faux controversy to create buzz for a second season. If anyone was exploited, it’s the writer. Then again, maybe the writer also knew what she was getting into and played along for access down the line. Nothing is ever as it seems on Bravo.

You should of Added a picture of Adrienne Maloof. I am so glad that someone else said Bravo is exploiting Elsa. I thought that the whole time.

Great to see a mature woman speak her mind on any show. I also enjoyed Mama Zarin (Jillz Mom) back in the day.

I feel badly for Mamma Elsa, but I know she doesn’t want nor need my sympathy. I’m not so sure about her being taken advantage by Bravo. I was referring to her poor decision to alter her face. Many people make mistakes but it isn’t so obvious in their facial features.
I am not fond of her as a “side show”. She cracks me the eff up. She’s brazen and wack-a-doo. My kinda woman.
WOW! Mama Elsa was a very exotic beauty “before”. The “after” is so sad. I do love me some Mama Elsa and her wisdom and wit. ‘Specially when she has had a glass or 2 of wine.
Kudos to mama elsa. She still goes out not caring what people think. On the other hand people please just age gracefully theres no need for all the facial surgery. You look better natural. There is so much
more to life than trying to look twenty yrs. Younger. It doesnt work just makes you look awful. Just use your brain folks.
