There will be quite the gala event for the 1736 Crisis Center with Bravo “stars” PamDana Wilkey and Shana “Taylor Armstrong” taking place tomorrow, March 10… at PamDana’s RESIDENCE!
The event will be in memory of slain Playboy model, Dorothy Stratton! WOW!!! Digging up a MURDERED girl’s image and name to slap on this scam is lower than low.
Shana pulled out all the stops on this event! Even sending out this invitation…

Attaching Dorothy Stratton to this event is in such poor taste… Dorothy Stratton was a MURDER victim. Quite a different story than the one that Shana is spewing.

It’s a wonder that the third person who makes up the PamDana/Shana con artist trifecta isn’t slapping her face all over this event, too. But, the third… JenniFUR Diamond… likes to stay in the background. Oh, bets are that JenniFUR will be there… probably counting all the donations as they pour in.

1736 also has over $7 million in EXPENSES and reports about $6 million in revenue/donations! How does THAT work???
Was either or both PamDana or Shana paid to host this event? What percentage of the donations for this event will go directly to the center? Who are the Board of Directors, mentioned here… but not named…who oversees this center?

The most disturbing thing to me is that these bimbos actually rented a red carpet to roll out in front of Pam Dana’s house. What in the H E double hockey stick is wrong with these women?

What is even more disturbing to me; these two grifters could actually make money off of this event and do so legally. Please note, I said legally, not morally. Pam could charge rent for the use of her home and they both could charge a personal appearance fee. The invitation indicates they have at least five corporate sponsors.
M not surprised that she’s telling yet another lie, about howmany years they’ve been in business. I’d have been more shocked if she’d been honest! I’ve never seen her b truthful in ANYTHING she’s been associated with. If her lips are moving she’s LYING!
I love the zippy tune and dancing stars. Forget that the husband of one of the grinning hosts offed himself and then she decided to unlock this dark (not really) secret (not really) about hubby allegedly abusing her (which no other human being has stepped forward to verify).
I always thought it was horrendous that this crisis center by all appearances let Taylor continue to be abused and/or didn’t offer a safe enough haven that Taylor felt like turning there for shelter, ever. Or they would have come forward, wouldn’t they? To dispute all the “haters”??
I’m also ticked because I stayed on that “Smilebox” forever, waiting for Taylor or Dana to pop out like the evil clown in “It.” But all that happened was stars danced around. As Dana would say, “AWK ward.”

And why wouldn’t this gala be held down at the center where they had Texas poker night–that’d hold a lot more people than PamDana’s place, even taking into account the kitchen in the closet and the freight elevator and the fact that there’s NO FURNITURE!!

Same Ace. He was on American Idol several years ago and I don’t think his career ever really took off after that. I don’t know if he’s really involved with Shana and Pam or just happy to have any paying gig and clueless about the rest of it.
His career didn’t take off because he sucked. I believe he was on broadway for a show or two, but, not for long. He’s a born and raised Californian who is also desperate for fame… Just like Damna and Shana, he will grab on to anyone or anything in hopes of becoming famous… Grabbing on to those two is truly desperation!
Well see, if they held it at the actual ‘shelter’, (still not sure that’s exactly what it is), then PamDana WOULD NOT HAVE HAD A CHANCE TO GET MONEY FROM IT for use of her house.

The center is definitely NOT interested in squeezing as much money from the event as possible. For that matter, they are not interested in saving any money for the actual DV victims’ support, with a financial sheet like that as shown above.
I would not be surprised if it came to light that SHAFT and Russell were both on the board of this fishy enterprise.
I agree that it’s in very poor taste to name the event in memory of the late Dorothy Stratton. Unlike Taylor, Dorothy was a beautiful young girl who was exploited and brutally murdered. Now Taylor is further exploiting the name of a young woman killed in 1980, whose life in no way parallels her own. But nothing Shana/Taylor says of does to get publicity surprising me any more. Her side-kick Dana/Pam is every bit as phony. She’s like a female Eddie Haskell….always kissing up to anyone who she thinks has power or influence. Both of them will say or do anything to remain in the limelight. It’s little wonder they are friends. As they say, Birds of a feather……

This just proves that Taylor is playing footsies with Ace the loser from American idol, who she hired to serenade her little daughter at a birthday party instead of a Disney character. Between that and the diamonds for the little girls, I think Taylor has no clue as to what is appropriate for children and what is not.
How much of this money do you think will make it’s way to the 1776 Charity or whatever it is? After Taylor and Dana get their cut for their paid appearances and expenses nothing will be left over. That’s how they play the game. At least she is training Dana to be her new grifting partner and not Kennedy ala “Paper Moon.” Yet.
This charity is dubious at best. I believe that in exchange for publicity on RHOBH, they give Taylor a cover. It reminds me of a very hard lesson I learned. I gave way more money than I could afford to a charity to help the victims of the Haitian Earthquake only to discover later that the money has not even been released (to this day) and that the charity keeps a big chunk of the money for operating expenses. It made me sick. This is a very well known charity. Now, I actually pay attention to how these “charities” operate. I think Taylor’s charity could use a bit of investigating. If they lied about when they were founded, who knows what else they lie about.

If you google search, you will see some old pictures from the 1736 Crisis Center that have nobody of note in them. It appears that at least sometime in the past, they did good work. It seems that they have gotten caught up in the Celebrity Circus. The best thing this organization could do is distance themselves from Taylor and her gang, and re-focus on their mission, their non-famous volunteers and the other legitimate celebrities that seem to champion their very worthy cause. This center seems to have started out with good intentions and provided at least some services to real battered/abused women but they have lost their way. What I find particularly odd is if they now provide such outstanding services why aren’t they listed on Taylor’s “new mission” website as a resource? The government should be investigating their charitable status and where the money actually goes.
This “charity” seems like a shell company to allow them to “write off” their lavis parties. No charity is $1 million in the red. Charge $2K for ticket not $200. This is really shameful and I hope Bravo notes that they’re using their name and kicks them both off the show for good.

As the mother of a murdered daughter, I’m appalled by this! Where is Dorothy Stratton’s family? Are they allowing her name to be used in a scam this way? If they don’t know about Taylor someone should clue them in. I doubt they want Dorothy’s name drug through the mud by a scammer like Taylor. I’m truly sick about this.

In looking at the invite, it seems to me that PamDana has had more work done. She’s beginning to resemble Kelly Ripa. I’m still not clear on where all the money comes from, tho. And if she was truly that wealthy, why does she need Shanna’s coat tails? Seems to me the pecking order in SoCal (at least back in the day when I lived there…) was who has the most is highest up in the rankings.

This makes me uncomfortable that they have chosen Dorothy Straten. It makes it seem, to me, that by using her image they are trying to pin some validity to Shana’s claims. Dorothy’s case was tragic, docutmented and proven. I assume most people have heard her sad story. It is almost like when you see pop stars channel actesses like Marilyn Monroe or Audrey Hepburn. It instantly recalls an image or emotion that we have of those people that lends itself to the person who is palying tribute to it. This feels like that. Why not use the image of all the hundreds of women Shana has saved by coming forward with her tale or the thousands of women in her area that died from domestic violence.? I’ll tell you why, cause they are nobodies and they won’t help her image this little tidbit of vintage domestic violence , this sad story of a glamours girl, that in some ways because of her young death, is iconic. This is perfect for them, I have to give them credit whoever thought of this is very savy.

The last Form 990 for 1736 Family Crisis Center was filed with the IRS on 6/30/11. The 26 page filing is available at http://www.taxemptworld.com The entire board of directors is listed , as well as any compensation they might receive. The director, Carol Adelkoff , receives an annual salary of $392,148, plus benefits. This seems quite high when compared to the salary of the national director of the Red Cross or any number of large national charities.
Shana is not listed as a director or receiving any compensation, but I found an interesting tibit on page 10, line g. Fees for serves, with the box ,other, checked. The amount: $387,829. That is quite a chunk of change for petty cash. Hmm.
I didn’t recognize any other the director names, but SH or some of the rest of you might. The number of employees – 134 seemed high given the number of shelters they run and the employee compensation seemed high relative to their total donations. Since a 990 filing requires only the highest compensationed employees, there is room for …… One would think more expense would be allotted to food and shelter given their mission statement.
sheesh…throw in that “plus benefits” and you could double that…..what a scam….a radiologist doesnt make that kind of money nowadays….and I mean before the added benefits
