I’ve always loved bellinis–they were invented in Venice almost 100 years ago. It’s champange or sparkling wine with peach nectar. It’s like a delicious mimosa that you can drink any time! It can be hard to find peach nectar though, so I decided to make a pre-bottled mixed bellini myself–and I named it Fabellini. I partnered with the Brotherhood Winery, the oldest winery in America. I’m so so so proud of it. And it tastes delicious!!! And Fabellini is low calorie–less than 1/2 the calories of other “skinny” drinks.

The questions hanging over the relationship between former Housewife from the Real Housewives of New Jersey, Dina Manzo, and present New Jersey Housewife, Teresa Giudice all begin with this word: WHY???
The two most important questions are: WHY is Dina still “friends” with Tree? WHY is Dina still making it appear that she and Tree are close?
Tree and Dina Manzo… can their smiles get any faker???
Yeah, Dina got all caught up with Tree’s crap on season two of the Real Housewives of New Jersey and fell for Tree telling Dina that a godmother is selected because the mother wishes that the godchild be just like the godmother. Of course, Dina fell for that big time, being the narcissist that Dina is, and Dina became the Joodice’s last girl, Audriana’s, godmother. That’s the reason that Tree and Dina want everyone to believe that they are still so tight with each other… they are bound by Tree’s kid, Audriana.
So, let’s take a look at what’s REALLY going on with Tree and Dina…
First, and most importantly, Tree brought up that Dina and Don Caro weren’t on speaking terms and Dina is pissssssed at Tree about this. Why? Because it was a “family” thing between Dina and her sister. Don Caro would never speak about it and when she did speak about it, Don Caro denied any problems between her and younger sister, Dina. Dina and Don Caro’s mother, Nettie Laurita, did not know about her daughter’s squabbling with each other. Neither Dina nor Don Caro wish to make their mother aware of what’s really going on between them. Like Don Caro keeps saying, “We fight big… blah, blah, blah”…. but they don’t necessarily want their mother to know about it! So, Dina is ticked that Tree has a big mouth… IMO, Dina should have expected nothing less from Tree, as Tree only thinks about herself and never thinks before she speaks.

Now, on to why Dina would still be “friends” with Tree after being a big-mouth. Simple: because they are using each other. Dina has her HGTV show… which, IMO, will not get renewed… it is an awful show and its numbers are tanking… just watch Dina’s “instructional” YouTube videos and you’ll get a feel for her HGTV show. However, Dina needs Tree to guest or make an appearance on her HGTV show for ratings and Tree needs Dina to continue to appear as her friend by continuing to show up at Tree’s events. But… WHY would Dina do that???
Here’s the biggest reason that Dina continues to grit her teeth and plays along with the fakery… the answer to the big question of “WHY”? Tree is signed on to the next season of Celebrity Apprentice. As a contestant on Celebrity Apprentice, Tree will be required to designate a charity which she will be working for… and Dina fully expects her ‘friend’, Tree, to name Dina’s charity, Project Ladybug, as her charity on Celebrity Apprentice. Not only will Tree’s ‘endorsement’ on Celebrity Apprentice shine a light on Dina’s “magnanimity” and “generosity” as the founder of the charity, but will also shine a desperately needed spotlight on Dina’s HGTV show…
NOTE: Tree has chosen NephCure as her Celebrity Apprentice charity. It has been “rumored” that Project Ladybug did not meet the necessary requirements for being a Celebrity Apprentice charity…
I would bet that Teresa will not pick Ladybug as her charity, she is too selfish. She will come up with something that she can pretend to support so she can look like the heroine she isn’t. But not a problem, I don’t think Teresa is smart enough to win any of the comps as even with a smart team behind her she won’t listen and will still screw it up.
But if they are honestly friends and it’s a mutually beneficial relationship (and I don’t think those things are mutually exclusive either) why WOULDN’T tree play for project ladybug? She would become it’s most visual endorser (even more visible than dina, cause, hey…network) and the biggest donor in a few short months. That’s a lot of attention to turn down for someone who…well, thrives on attention. And it would be MONTHS of fanny-kissing from a Manzo- something that would burn Caroline up.

They are correct, Dina is so friendly because she sees or someone told her that her show HOARDER CHIC won’t be renewed. And once this show is gone she’s gone.
Can Project Ladybug be designated as Tree’s charity? I thought it wasnt a legal charity and had shady financials.

The story goes that Jax needed a small break from tiny baby CJ. She assumed it was alright to leave Chris in charge of him (him being the daddy n all) Anyways apparently Chris the “entrepreneur” buckled under the strain that his wife’s quick trip to Starbucks was causing him and he called up his big sissy Don. And Don comes over and when Jax returns Don chewed her out for not being tethered at the hip to her baby 24/7 and Jax busted her in the face.
Editorial: Don got off light because I would have stomped the proverbial mud hole in her butt and then walked it dry. WORD
I thought Caroline said at the reunion that Chris called Dina but when one calls they all come running. So it makes it even worst that Caroline went off on Jacqueline. Chris obviously thought Dina would rescue him from babysitting his own baby and not cause a scene. Dina and Caroline are not used to having their spouses around to help them with their children so it makes sense that they would flip out over Jacqueline expecting their brother, Chris to help out.
I can’t say I blame Jacqueline. I wouldn’t have limited myself to punching her, it would have been much, much more. Seems Caroline has a penchant for giving advice no one wants or needs
I agree with you Heather – Don Caro is nothing but a controlling witch. I think Dina and Tre are still friends – those 2 always seemed to get along.
I have always enjoyed the SH blog, bug not sure about this one. First, project Lady Bug was not a big enough charity for NBC to approve. The 501-c3 had to have a operating budget that matched or went over a certain #. PL did not reach the requirements.
Second issue I have with this blog is that Caroline was playing the pot calling the kettle black. She was messing in Tre’s family business but hers was off limits. She has just as many family issues as Tre. What she was saying on air was hurting Tres parents…so Caroline bull shit is fair game.

I know. The married part was what threw me off. And also everyone keeps saying how young she is as it that is a selling point. She doesn’t appear to be that much younger than Tree. She is very attractive but her “smokin hot body” or whatever is on par with Tree’s The little tart he was wining and dining in the TGIFridays looked like she was not much more than a teenager. But not exactly a head turner either.

Does anyone really expect Teresa to raise any money? From what I’ve seen in the past of Celebrity Apprentice, although limited, its always what connections the celebrities have that wins the challenges. Teresa doesnt have any connections, let alone any money. I can get that they want her to go off during the show and create drama, but hiring someone that is so in debt to raise money for charity is just wrong.

However, if you recall, it was Nene’s turn at project manager and as PM, you are expected to raise some big time money… that’s when you call in all your favors from your celeb friends. That’s when Nene took off… Nene had no one to call and had she stayed she would have totally embarrassed herself by not being able to back up her big mouth.

If they have a pizzeria challenge like they did on last season, that’s when we will start to see the first cracks. And someone is bound to get huffy and tell her her imput is not valuable since her hubby’s pizzeria went bust and she cant cook. Watching her and Victoria Gotti interact? I can’t see how that will go well. Adam Corrolla will have a field day with her. Dee Snyder won’t have any patience for her. Changing it up a bit…The apprentice ratings were starting to look like the Dina show. And they realize that America loves to watch controversy and gossip. That is why they put star/nene on the last one. Because everyone knew what was going on with those two. And ratings sky rocketed. Teresa is a one person show. Appearing to be in denial and clueless and always right and know it all. Watch another person in the group make her look like a gnome. I don’t understand. Teresa has already stated that she is not using Project Ladybug a long time ago. I admit it surprised me because I thought that might be why Dina was supportive of her, but I think they are on cordial terms because Teresa never did anything to Dina and they surely commiserate about what a f****ing b***ch and hypocrite Caroline “Chaz” Manzo is. Gess…..Dina was upset when T angrily outed the sister’s argument on TV. Also, in Italian families the godmother thing is a very big deal so I think they will be together for a long time. I also think T hoped to use Dina’s charity, but Ladybug charity didn’t meet the standards need for the show so she went with one of the Trump kid’s charities.
I’ve not seen T’s bellinis wine…is it any good? Looks like she may be trying to out do Bethenny especially a skinny girl take on the drinks but then again wasn’t T’s first book about being the skinny Italian?
