Thank you for all of the support. I’m taking this doc down for now. Because of the hateful comments it’s going to discourage other victims. It’s so awful that people still make excuses. If someone says they’re being abused. believe them. If they go one step further to show proof, don’t abuse them
even further by calling them liars, or saying things like “doctors can be bought”, “she could’ve fallen down”, etc.I’m deeply concerned about some of the posters on here and on Twitter. I’m glad this abuse topic is a hot one and is being brought out into the light. It’s shown me and others why it’s so hard to get out. Doubters, non-believers, name-callers and unsupportive people are also abusers as they keep the cycle spinning. Don’t be one of those people. This conversation will continue…NOTE: This “conversation” re ‘abuse’ and ‘domestic violence’ has been going on since before Shana was born!According to her FB statement above, she is now calling anyone who has proof of her untruths “abusers!” IMO, this is not surprising… scammers always attempt to deflect attention away from the real issue at hand… and the real issue at hand is Shana PROVING her statements…Scammers also ALWAYS pull people into their circle… just as Shana is now doing. Shana is now saying that anyone who has experienced abuse can now blame the people asking Shana to prove her claims for the abuse now inflicted or will be inflicted upon them! Anyone who questions Shana or does not agree with what she states is a “hater” OR does not understand how domestic violence occurs. There are numerous SH commenters who have experienced domestic violence and are aware and knowledgeable about “keeping the lid on a boiling pot”… and they all are questioning Shana. Again… Shana’s statements simply do not add up.

What is an “orbital blowout” and how is it treated?
What is the immediate treatment of an athlete with a suspected orbital blowout fracture?
Because the amount of force required to fracture the orbit is significant, emergency medical services should be immediately called and care should be taken to also evaluate the athlete for possible concussion and/or brain injury.

I seriously think that that was the reason why she had a chapter in her book about Russell supposedly forcing her to get a polygraph test. Her story is that he was paranoid and delusional and that she took a lie-detector to prove that she didn’t cheat on him.
(of course she provides not even an envelope of photo of a bill to prove that there was any polygraph test done).
Some people have surmised that one purpose of the book is to provide an excuse for her financial and legal probs. By claiming to have been humiliated by a previous polygraph, could she have been setting-up an excuse for why she would never take one again?

She really had to take a lie detector test but not because Russell made her. When Russell filed for Bankrupsy her five name changes set off red flags and she had to prove who she was. Had nothing to do with Russell thinking she cheated on him.

A lie detector is unreliable, so unreliable it is not upheld in a court of law. A psychopath like Taylor could out smart one. I believe a lie detector records the heart rate, so all a person has to do is believe their lies.
I know someone who molested children who passed a lie detector. Not only was he sexual perverted, but a psychopath as well.
brooke: Just to clarify. Lie detector results are not GENERALLY admissible… however, it is up to the Judge in the case. If all parties are in agreement to accept the results of the lie detector and the Judge permits, the results will be admissible. TFC!! SH
I agree with you. The only way it would work is if the tester asked her a question about one of her statements. She responds and then he/she follows with but on Tues you said x.
I’d like to know who took the pix and for what purpose. Her report and from what I recall of the CT image she took down, she had minor damage that would have healed on its
own. One can see it was already healing by the yellow color towards the brow. Nothing she has provided is indicative of abuse. She could have been playing softball and her duck lips got in the way.
If someone is abused, GET OUT! Don’t wait to find someone to play the victim card to; don’t wait to be rescued. LEAVE! Taylor Armstrong is sending the wrong message. Do not listen to her. JUST LEAVE!

She filed July 15 but he moved out I think ~June 25th.
Although an avid watcher of the RH franchise, I have never seen fit to post on one of these blogs before now. While lying in bed for a month recuperating from hip surgery, I have found this blog particularly enteratining. So, here it goes. The fact that there was “no CT evidence for air-fluid levels suggesting acute component to this fracture” basically means that there was no swelling. The absence of any swelling in an injury such as this one suggests that this was not a recent trauma–certainly not one that occurred a week or so prior to the CT scan. Second, in the “History” portion of the report, it states “Trauma and right orbital fracture,” suggesting that she had a previous history of a fracture of the right orbit, i.e., that she had known prior to the instant CT scan that her orbit had been fractured. If someone really wanted to waste their time and dig further, it is likely that this is not her first CT scan of the right orbit. Generally speaking, it appears that this was an older fracture. Finally, from everything I’ve seen or heard about this woman, the only one who for sure abused her was her plastic surgeon.
That’s pretty much what I thought. I think this CT scan was ordered by a specialist too. She was also being seen outside of hospital as the radiology group is private. If the doctor suspected an orbital blowout I’d imagine a Cranial CT scan of the brain, sinuses, and eye sockets would be in order to rule other localized injuries….or at least to CYA. I don’t think the blowout was serious and may have been discovered accidently given all the other procedures she’s had done around the eye. Someone might want to store the service date & history of injuries in their mental rolodex. Happy healing!!!
There very well may have been additional scans done but she only provided the orbital CT. Her sinuses were clear. It was stated in the report. They may have very well ordered a CT of the brain and it was normal…. at least, for Shana…

Could this injury have anything to do with a cheek implant that she may have had problems with from all of the needles for fillers, or maybe just the implants have aged enough to ‘blow out”
The photos might reflect an issue caused by an implant or a filler. Implants are pretty resilient though. Taylor doesn’t have a lot of facial fat so I think it would very obvious if an implant failed. The implant goes under the muscle and is separated from the eye by the cheekbones. The findings of the CT report I would suspect are from a force directly to the eye and not caused by cosmetic enhancements.
If there was a previous CT, the radiologists would have wanted it for comparison, and it would have been noted on the report. We know that she didn’t go to the ER. The scan was most likely ordered by the opthalmologist. The big question is the time span between when the injury occurred and her having a scan done. Typical symptoms of an orbital fracture are included in the link below. My guess is that the scan was done the day of or day after the injury.
I don’t have a copy of the timeline but maybe someone can let us know what Shana was up to on 6/22 – 6/23. The reason that she took it down from FB has nothing to do with haters or whatever lie she is spewing. The radiology group was besieged with calls, and I’ll bet my life that she received a phone call from the group’s administrator instructing her to get their info off the internet.

Based on the symptoms of a corneal tear and orbital blowout, she’s one tough cookie to have carried herself through a schedule of events like that including vacationing in the Hamptons over July 4th weekend. It just proves that the photo that she sold had to be taken post orbital surgery. She had lunch w/Peggy S a week later. Any photos availabe from that lunch? When did Sur open because she still had some residual bruising under her eye or so she wants us to believe?

Thanks, SH. That’s what I referred to when making the last post. Sur party was 7/14 which fits because it was after her surgery. Do you have any photos of her at lunch with Peggy? Just want to compare because the lunch and the Sur party were about the same timeframe?

The paranasal sinuses were not swollen, as would be seen in an injury of this magnitude had it happened a day or two before the CT scan. My husband is a radiologist. He read the report–he said that the injury is of moderate severity but does not appear to be a new fracture and could be months, if not a year, old. Also, the fact that there was no reference to an earlier CT scan is of no moment. In an ideal world, the radiologist has the benefit of previous testing; however, this does not always occur for a variety of reasons.
Interesting and thank you for providing his expertise. Understand the prior scan comment if it wasn’t taken at the same facility or she didn’t supply it, the rad reading the scan would have no knowledge. He says it’s old. Wow! If she rec’d the injury as she alleges on or about 6 /11, there would have had to be some noticeable markings around the eye (at least, bruising) from the trauma.
Does he agree? If so, since she was seen in public on numerous occasions afterwards so it couldn’t have happened as she says. Geez! Staring to believe that she staged this whole fiasco quite sometime ago. Perhaps around the time, he told her about filing Bk. If so, she was planning her out all along. This story just keeps on getting crazier by the moment.
He said that he finds it hard to believe that a day or two after receiving an injury this severe that she would have no noticeable swelling, bruising, or broken blood vessels. He did say that these types of injuries are common and typically come from a punch. Often times they resolve on their own and do not necessitate surgical repair. He is loathe to comment further on this–my incessant questions of him have begun to irrirate him as he thinks I’ve lost my mind by following this story so intently. As to the question why she would get a CT scan in June 2011 if the injury was an older one, my guess– not my husband’s– is that perhaps the injury became more symptomatic over time.
i believe she took the report off of her website because it begs more questions than gives answers. And it certainly does not answer the cauastion issue. She has misled the public and her castmates to believe that the bruising was a direct result of the alleged punch, which has been proven false. People who are genuinely abused do not need to embellish or mischaracterize their injuries.
Thanks… sorry, I can imagine the looks that he was giving you, lol. The eye area is extremely delicate so, at the very least, she should have had bruising. I took a look out there, and there are several photos of her on-line just days after her birthday. She looked fine and makeup wouldn’t have been able to cover it up. So she lied. Question is: when did it happen and how? Obviously, it wasn’t due to an altercation with Russell because she could have just told the truth, and people wouldn’t have had trouble believing it. It’s too late for her to say that I was scared, blah, blah, blah. She chose to concoct this story naively thinking that no one would question her because of the DV issue. She’s obviously fooled quite a few, but it’s not going to end well for Taylor. If a credible news agency does a story about it and exposes her organizations like 1736 will distance themselves from her in a heartbeat along with whatever spokesperson and other opportunites she has in the works.
According to expert Dr.Drew there is nothing suspicious about Traylor not having a single mark after her orbital blowout. Case closed and if you disagree with his findings you are just another hater.

Yeah, why did she not have any other marks on her (defensive type). Trust me, this woman has a temper so I cannot see him hitting her and her not fighting back. What a liar she is.
It really pisses me off too because I am an abuse survivor and I find it an insult. She had the money to get away. What did she spend on the child’s birthday party? Like $60,000? The main reason I found it hard to get out of was because of money. Money resources is a large part of women finding it hard to get out of.

Very interesting. Does he know why (or can he guess) if it was an older injury, she would have been sent for the CT scan and why they would have done surgery a week or two later? Meaning, why would an older injury suddenly require treatment like this?
Ok. I asked him if I could ask one final question before he had me committed. LOL. He said that, as manipulative as she is, she could have gotten the second CT report to try and support her allegations of abuse without being savvy enough to realize that the report would reveal an older fracture. (That she took post-op pictures suggests to me that something was up her sleeve and she was collecting amunition for something.) Or, he said the CT scan could have been performed as a precursor to some kind of plastic surgery based on the prior hx of a fracture. He did say that the likelihood of a cheek implant causing an orbital floor fracture is slim to none.
I believe the relationship between these two criminals was extremely volatile, and I don’t doubt that punches were thrown by one or both parties. That being said, her “little girl crying wolf” routine has made it impossible for anyone with an IQ above 100 to consider her credible on any front. She has done more damage to the issue of domestic violence than any of her detractors.

HA! I saw that too. Since I have been to the same imaging place several times I had a look at mine for what they write in history. None of mine had history rather ‘Indication’ or reason for scan.
It also seems Trailor has a hard time distinguishing between a CT scan vs a MRI. It is not difficult since a CT scan takes 5 mins at most in a big open circle and a head MRI w/o contrast would take at least 20 mins depending on protocol used.
Also, if referring doctor was really concerned he/she would have requested contrast especially since the area is so small.

I think she is trying to taint the jury pool in LA to make herself an innocent victim in the lawsuits. That is why all the tears. “i didn’t know anything, I was just an abused housewife who knew nothing. See my pix everyone?” Who ordered the ct scan? Her plastic surgeon or lasik doc?
Maybe there will be a credible news outlet that would take this story on in the UK if nobody in the US will? It just might open the door and get the US outlets to stand up and take notice that there is something not right with her story.
Well at the moment the only paper who seems to be doing most of the reporting is the Daily Mail – who can be quite sloppy at best when reporting on facts. Alot of the DM’s readers make fun out of them doing so. The HW’s must be getting more popular over here as we have now had RHO BH/OC/NJ/NY/M/A being shown so hopefully situations like this will be explored alot more. Although, I don’t think anyone has done a better job than SH.

Again, I am most concerned about Kennedy. Taylor uses her as a prop, and clearly considers her an object. A dangerous parent-child dynamic. Most damaging. Also a tell-tale sign of an abuser. ‘You are my property.’
i think she is entering her frantic stage, she thought people would believe her, no questions asked because Bravo did such a good job of showing support to her. Real people aren’t buying what she is selling, at least those that have followed her story since season one and know about the fraud and living off of other people’s money. She thought the more explicit her book described the abuse, the more she would be sympathized with. She was not banking on people realizing that she was not the only one grieving. There are children involved. From this point on , especially since she was busted for tweeting herself a book review from her twitter account to herself she is crumbling and lashing out, The more she talks the more sensational she becomes and not in a good way. She was never in fear of Russell killing her and Kennedy, that is just dramatic effect. She is pathetic.

I checked their websites and they’re inactive with no contact phone numbers. There’s a chocolate company that she claims to be a partner of. If you go to the USA page it talks about beware of stores claiming to be affiliates in CA, as the only way to order in the USA is from the company website. Why do I think she’ll lie under oath when she finally makes it to court.

Has anyone seen a book signing schedule for Taylor. The one in New Jersey an the one in LA are the only two I have heard about, she said the schedule is on her website but I failed to see anything about further appearances.

NOTE: Shana’s book signing at The Grove in LA will require a wrist band…wrist band events mean that one has to purchase the book to get a wrist band… the wrist band allows you to be in the audience to stand in line to get your book signed by the author. TFC!! SH
So, she is only getting two? Is that the normal number of book signings? I thought they did much more than two.

The Feb 15 signing is at The Grove in LA… she will be doing am interview with Mario Lopez from Extra while she is there. According to her publishing house, S&S, at this point, that’s it for her book signing appearances. Everyone does, however, have those lectures re DV that she will be doing across the country to look forward to! TFC!! SH
I already enjoyed seeing the NJ turnout for her signing in LA, my surprise is there are only two signings. I’m not counting her seriously awful public appearances. I really wish that someone that could seem like a credible person would inquire into an appearance from her to find out what she is charging for her load of bs.
Two book signing engagements does not a success make… Looked at the Amazon site yesterday and all the negative reviews are getting top billing. Won’t be long before her book winds up in an outlet clearance store under fiction.
If Russell was still alive, she would still be with him.
She’s doing nothing for abused women. She can’t give advice on getting out of the relationship, because the only way she got out was him committing suicide (unless she manipulated someone to kill him).
