Andy does have some interesting comments during his interview… most interesting is that Miss Andy is adamant re his knowledge of the Bravo audience. Andy says that the Bravo audience is the most intelligent. Yes, Andy… the Bravo audience is intelligent, which is why they can spot scripted, manipulated television. And they don’t like it!
Andy Cohen, executive VP at Bravo, talks with Tom Keene on Bloomberg TV about Bravo’s programming and his plan to expand from reality to scripted TV. And, Andy’s plugging Bravo’s ‘Platinum Hit’… if he has to do the plugging, you know it’s gonna bomb.
Andy’s says that Bravo’s audience can smell anything that is “insincere, phony or fake.” Yes, and Bravo’s audience can also smell ‘producer-induced scenarios’ on the Housewives shows a mile away.
Andy’s Housewives’ ‘reality’ shows may as well be scripted as the ‘producer-induced’ scenes in each show have become more and more obvious to viewers…
