Camille Grammer and DD Whitt… “Dedra Whitt is best known to fans of reality TV for her now-infamous confrontation with Taylor Armstrong on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which made headlines. In a new interview with The Examiner.

Whitt said it shouldn’t have happened, admitting, “I definitely was loaded.”
“Whitt is best friends with cast member Camille Grammer, as well as her makeup artist, and together they attended a party Brandi Glanville threw at a friend’s beach house. In one of the season’s most talked-about moments, she ended up in a screaming, crying altercation with Armstrong after coming to Grammer’s defense. Armstrong later told Lisa Vanderpump that she was too drunk to remember what she had said and done, and Whitt confirmed that alcohol played a major role in the incident.
“I don’t think I would have done that under normal circumstances ,” she told Examiner’s Sterling Whitaker.
“It was a whirlwind that night, and I definitely was loaded. I’m not gonna lie,” she added with a laugh. “I’m not gonna lie to you and say I didn’t have a few drinks. I did. We didn’t eat a lot, either. It was a wine tasting, so I had a few cocktails and a few glasses of wine, and I didn’t do a lot of eating. So yeah, not a good combo! “

Whitt said that even though the episode was embarrassing, it made for good reality television. “It made people talk,” she noted. “Isn’t that what it’s all about, kind of, in reality TV? “
Still, there is one moment she wishes hadn’t happened. “The one on-camera moment I would take back would be at the end, where I’m screaming to Camille, ‘I love you! I love you!’ she admitted.
“That was a little over the top.”
“Fans can expect to hear much more about that night during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion show, which begins airing Monday on Bravo.

After reading Camilles’s blog and this tidbit -”Her behavior did seem odd, but Kim can be quirky at times, that’s part of her personality,” I am over the new and improved Camille. Her personality is tepid and boring, under the guise of daring not to offend. Following her publicist’s directions, she has stripped herself of any vestige of personality and left behing this boring Stepford Camille who is a cipher of her former self.
I agree! Camille was the least successful tv villain ever but she was funny to watch. Now shes so bland that I almost like her. Its not fair to toy with my feelings, Camille!
I think Camille’s behavior is more subdued this season because of the custody issue she has been battling with Kelsey over during the entire filming session. No doubt her publicist has been involved, but I would imagine her lawyer has been telling her what she needed to do for Kelsey not to be able to use something against her. Now that Kelsey’s new wife is expecting twins, maybe he will leave Camille alone and let her have custody of both of the children since he just wanted the son to start with. With brand new twins he will have nannies to play with again.
lucy, I so agree with you about Camille. I can live the rest of my life, if I don’t have to see Camille acting like America’s Sweetheart, and her shoulders thrown back, as she wades through the water, holding her sarong by her side like an angel. GAG ME! I’m sure we didn’t see her toes pointed as she strolled, because Bravo hadn’t yet realized, I’d get another laugh, at her expense.
Agree with Lucy, however if you watch that episode again, on the way to the party you’ll see DD in the limo say even though Camille can’t start any drama, no reason why she can’t on her behalf. So while Camille comes out looking good, DD did her work for her. As much as i can’t stand Taylor, I think DD was looking for drama.
This was the first episode of any Housewives franchise I had ever seen. I remember thinking “that bitch in yellow is craaazy.” Little did I know, shes not that bad. She was just wasted! It took me 2 seasons of BH and 2 of NYC to realize that 90% of the Housewives fights are related to alcohol. To quote Homer Simpson: “Alcohol, the cause of, and solution to all of our problems.” These women need to put down the bottle and act like adults! That being said, DD is ok my book… but just ok.

Yes she does wear reading glasses. They look like the kind you buy at grocery store. Bless her heart. I always laugh when she wears them.

Tangy, Traylor was like a thug when she said that. I bet she acted like that in HS. We’ve all seen her turn on people in such a threatening way.

I am so glad someone else saw the, “Kennedy Caroline” bullshit on Kennedy’s goal chart. Just based off of the name Taylor-White-Trash chose for her child shows how
genuinely delusional she truly has to be. The pretention that is Traylor-White-Trash is astounding. Surprising that Shana Lynette Hughes didn’t pick the last name of Kennedy to grift through Beverly Hills with instead of Ford. But then again, Shana was saving Kennedy for her child instead. Poor child, my wish is for someone to intervene on behalf of, Kennedy Caroline Armstrong.
Poor Russel, can you imagine what he had to deal with when Taylor drank and became delusional. How do you control that? She initiated the whole confrontation. DD was sticking up for her friend. What is up with kyle? She is nasty, can’t she see what Taylor is doing? I think she is soooo jealous of Brandi, her reaction to Brandi is over the top. One more thing, when they came back to get Taylor’s, she had the same creepy smile, like she accomplished something. (Same creepy smile she has on the preview of the reunion when Andy asks if Russel was murdered. They have the camera on Taylor and she has this…..crazy smile on her face.)
She has the creepy smile all of the time, remember when she almost fell over the balcony: and Kyle had to save her. I think that is a tell tale sign for her that she actually is enjoying all of this.
a combo of booze, desperation for air time and lots of bitterness towards Traylor can make you look like an idiot on camera. would probably happen to me
If for no other reason than Camille’s makeup always looks flawless, DD is ok in my book as well. I agree that DD did the dirty work for Camille, and also agree that it was perhaps to help Camille out during the unfortunate dealings w. her low life ex. I thought DD had guts honestly … Traylor is dangerous … on so many levels. When I saw the chart that she made for Kennedy … I thought omg .. Joan Crawford returns x12! I don’t want Traylor to return however if she does, I have a feeling that she is going to be outed by one of the housewives … or someone close to them. You can fool some of the people some of the time etc. Here in Canada, the show is about 2 or 3 episodes behind so I sat with my sister (another RH’s fan) to watch the White Party again … when Adrienne and Vyle ensured that Russell knew that his wife was lying to him, and Vyle’s face as she realised that she had been caught out … it will come out about Traylor … I also like Brandi for asking Traylor to leave. Brandi sees right thru Traylor I suspect.
There will also be a “Lost Footage” Episode to air on Feb 16 where they show an extended version of Malibu Beach Party From Hell. If you all remember there was clips in the original season trailer where you can see Adrienne telling the girls “Lisa stirs the pot, that’s the problem”, also a promo commercial where Kyle is seen being pulled away as her hair flips telling Brandi “Put on a bra”. You can expect to see that and more on this episode coming up after all 3 parts of the reunion have aired!!!
In light of the Shana Ford Snipes Armstrong koolaid that Bravo is drunk on I will not be tuning in for the lost footage or the three part reunion.

Sure there is a special reason BRAVO likes to create all these social gatherings and provide all this alcohol — good ratings. As for DD a blind man could see that she was loaded. What gets me about all of these women is how they continuously focus on Kim’s drinking, when you rarely see any of them without wine, champagne or alcohol in their hands. They could all use a little more sobriety. It’s clear that they are much better at charading their own drunkness than Kim can.
P.S. There are all kinds of drunkness: Kim…the loopey can’t complete a sentence or thought drunk ….Kyle…the mean and do as I say drunk….Adrienne…the I am in charge and listen to me because I’m right drunk…Lisa…the English queen bee scarcastic drunk….Taylor… the lying demented drunk….Camille…the sensitive and somewhat detached drunk… and the brand new Brandi….the silly F U drunk. I’m sure there’s someone out there that can add to this list — so have at it.

lisa, sorry to hear about your Diabetes and stay healthy, but it sounds like you had plenty of fun before your diagnosis and mixing it up shows your creativity.
