Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Shana “Taylor Armstrong”… SHANA’S BOOKING SPEAKING DATES NOW!

 ShanaLynetteHughesSipesTaylorFordArmstrong…

The spin machine has been in gear for Shana… Miss Andy let her slide while he had her captive during her visit in the clubhouse and from all reports, Shana and the BH girls are very chummy after surviving the RHOBH reunion show.  It appears that it’s smooth sailing from here on out for Shana!

So, what’s next for Shana??  Well, Shana is all set up to start rakin’ in the money to speak about domestic violence.

Here is what Shana will talk about (if she gets paid) to speak to your group.. from The American Program Bureau:

TOPICS

Hiding from Reality: My Story of Love, Loss & Finding the Courage Within

In this captivating talk, Taylor Armstrong relates the deeply personal story of how she found herself in a relationship of inequality, her struggle with both deep love and fear of her husband, and how she summoned the courage from within to finally leave him. In her characteristic witty, lighthearted manner, Armstrong also shares illuminating—and even humorous—anecdotes, both about life (good and bad) with her husband, as well as her experiences as a cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, where she often found herself battling with friends who struggled to understand the extent of her abuse.

Armstrong shares:

  • Contributing factors in creating a relationship based in domestic violence—self-esteem issues, financial inequality, and abuse—and how to recognize when you or a friend may be in an unhealthy relationship.
  • Insights for friends and family of domestic abuse survivors who may not understand the complicated relationship between abuser and abused. Armstrong illustrates this with stories from her experience on Real Housewives, where many of her own close friends questioned the abuse because she still expressed love for her husband.
  • The importance of finding one’s voice and the courage from within to get out of an abusive relationship.

This is a must-hear speech for anyone whose life has been touched by domestic abuse, from survivors and family members to support professionals.

Please call 800.225.4575 or contact us for more information on this speaker’s speech topics.

About Stoopid Housewives

The Real Housewives franchises have become a guilty pleasure for me and I've become intrigued by 'normal' people who would agree to put their lives on television for public display and scrutiny. What are their motives to divulge their daily routines for viewing audiences to approve, reprimand, berate, castigate, attack; basically abuse and judge? Oh, just forget about the above nonsense... the majority of these people are just stoo-pid.

  1. Ellijule says:

How the H is she going to handle a live audience if she can’t handle her twitter? I mean really? You can’t block live people…SMH

    • Jupiters Mother says:

They’ll figure out a way for her to avoid this as well. Possibly by screening all the questions beforehand and planting people in the audience, maybe the entire audience will be planted so that no one can ask any of the questions we want answered. She’s gotten away with so much already and now that the reunion is a done deal and she still has not been exposed I imagine she’s quite emboldened by that and her “team” has all the bases covered for whatever might pop up in the future.

  2. Mythunker says:

“… where many of her own close friends questioned the abuse because she still expressed love for her husband.”
Silly me. I thought they questioned the abuse because they didn’t see any physical signs of it! Duh me.

    • cyn1 says:

That was my take on it. I would love to go to a question and answer session. Is this book going in the fictions section?

      • mythunker says:

It’s like guerilla warfare. This underground movement has to have all SH readers participate in moving her book to the fiction section in book stores to be successful!

    • gail says:

Me too, I don’t care what kind of a spin they use on it. She is cashing in ONLY because he is dead and cannot defend himself.

  3. NJ_HDGurl says:

She better make sure she travels with a good security team… I’m pretty sure there are people who would utilize this opportunity to show her what physical violence really is…

  4. Colleen in NJ says:

Ah a speaking tour with Q&A would be a train wreck. No way anyone would paid to discuss abuse with this woman. She wasn’t relevant before or after the “abuse” storyline who would care what she has to say? Also what person who is broke has their own charity? I’ve heard of volunteer, worker but her reference to “her” charity came off so pompous! I still harken back to season 1 and the low blows she sent toward Kim
And the threat of physical violence of taking her outside because of an inane comment, which SHE did make! I really believe she is the most vile person and I really cannot believe that these women still side with her. No way Andy Cohen would play hardball at a reunion show. He only attacks in pack mode! The entire reunion ganged up on Teresa at NJ reunion and from all the press out here everyone of them have a TON of baggage similar or worse than Teresa!! My threshold is so high for crap TV but even my tolerance is waning for the HW chain b/c it’s really not fun any longer! Pathetic!!!

    • Ellijule says:

I know right? There are plenty of REAL people, and courageous, educated people at that out there that are well equipt for the job Shana. Let let them do the job.

  5. Stacey says:

Such a waste of space and paper – it’s a shame that she’s minimizing women who are truly abused and making allegations against someone who is not here to dispute them.

  6. gail says:

Ehhhehhhehhhh, I really can’t go on living like this, i am broke ass poor, a lying grifter, ehhh, ehhhehhhee, nobody will let me still their money anymore, they are onto me, ehhhehhheee, Kyle how to you make tears so easily, I am doing all of this ehhhhehhhh crying and hysterics and can’t wring out a single tear, ehhhhehhhhh.

If she is on a season 3 I will boycott the housewives of beverly hills. Shame on Andy not taking her to task and outing her for what she has done to Russell.

    • Colleen in NJ says:

Did anyone catch when shana was on WWHL she said how close she has gotten to Kyle and she and Kennedy sleep over her home quite often in Kyle’s bed with the kids and the DOGS?? Didn’t she go on and on when Russell bought that cute puppy for Kennedy and complain about Kennedy’s allergies?? And then got rid of the dog? She’s so pathetic! She might be able to scam people on an individual basis, state by state, town by town, but her actions are being filmed and you can’t hide from live real time video! Oh her implosion will occur its only a matter of time! Wish it was now!

      • whodothesepeoplelooklike?? says:

AND she talked about being kicked in the face by kids in the bed!! Kicked in the face. Hmmm… where have we heard that??? Kicked in the face…oh yeah, that’s right…that’s what she told the docs happened to her eye!! Her daughter kicked her in the face!!

    • waves says:

      I’m in complete agreement, gail.

  7. gail says:

    oops change still to STEAL

  8. Reality TV Lover says:

Shana really. Just keep compounding the travesty you are perpetuating on Russells children, including your own daughter. Stop lying and telling people how horrid Russell was unless you also admit to how you were even worse. Stop destroying Kennedy’s image of her father, she smiled more with him when he took care of her in Season 1 than she ever smiled for you in both seasons. Hope MMR sues your butt broke, no one buys your stupid book and you get egged at any and all speaking engagements. A niece of mine was murdered by her abusive husband, how dare you fake your story and do damage to all the women out there who have been hurt or killed. You make me so sick and you hurt abused women all over who may cry for help and not be believed because you made a mockery of things.

    • Made Piley says:

I am so sorry about your niece. Your outrage at SHAFTS lies is totally justified.

      • gail says:

She is probably using other people’s story’s from the shelter to her financial gain If she does, I hope with all of my heart that they start pouring out of the woodwork telling everyone that that was their personal story they told Shana or Dana..

    • RegalBeagle says:

I agree… Shana is taking away from the REAL victims of DV. It makes me sick every time I read something or hear something that pitys Shana.

      • steview says:

Well said all of you. traylor’s stories get more and more detailed and less true as she mashes the trauma centers stories into her own. Russell’s only crime in traylor life was not giving her everything she wanted when she wanted it and actually having his own opinion about how to spend money and whether Kennedy should have a dog of his choosing. What every happened to the second dog….you know the one that didn’t cause allergies like the one Russell picked out?

    • Agree! The destruction of this man’s legacy to his children is unforgivable! She is the last person to give advice to anyone on ANYTHING! I wouldn’t even ask her for directions let alone domestic violence! Her allegiance to her “charity” was not believable Season 1 after she threatened Kim with violence and it continues to be a non-issue Season 2 even after Russell’s suicide. This woman is truly a grifter and when these types of people set their sights on a mark, they go for it. She’s definitely Lifetime Movie Network material!

  9. I read somewhere, that there will be pics of other abused women in her book.

  10. mssuburbia says:

“How she summoned the courage from within to leave him”? Um, WTF!? She said to Lisa, “WE decided . . . to stop hurting each other . . . HE’s moving out.” How can you “be in fear of” your husband, and also “agree” with your husband, to end the marriage (moving HIM out of the residence)?

    • gail says:

Every time she opens her mouth she just reinforces the face that Russell was not abusive to the point she is claiming he is. Abusers just don’t behave that way, they toss you out on your fanny and if you are lucky you have clothes on.

    • RomoSheDiNT says:

Thank you Ms Sub! Traylor needs to go on down to the 1736 and give them her lil secret on how she pulled THAT lil move off w/o getting her butt kicked.

  11. mssuburbia says:

“Fiction” section, girls! Don’t forget! It’s our duty to make sure that this book ends up in the correct section of the store. ;)

  12. vlc411 Vanessa Carlson
#RHOBH I just don’t see the late Mr. @TaylorArmstrong as an abuser. She never shows fear when with him.

Taylor Armstrong @vlc411 This is real life Vanessa. You can’t begin to imagine what goes on behind closed doors.

  13. TaylorArmstrong Taylor Armstrong
@ @vlc411 If u can’t see the fear in that limo ride, you’ve never been an abusive situation!! Trust me!!! There was A LOT of fear!
    3 Jan

    • gail says:

I saw that earlier today and thought to myself , there was NO fear of Russell, only CRAP, now he is going to figure out that I have been lying about him to everyone else.

      • Colleen in NJ says:

Gail my thoughts exactly! As if the gig is up what the H do I do now? Maybe he WILL be the crap out of me when he finds out what I’ve lied About and ruined his rep to make up a storyline on this show! Without a bad marriage, what did she have? All made up!!!

    • Made Piley says:

fear of being caught. fear of being fired. fear of being homeless. yepper lot and lots of “fear”

      • cyn1 says:

How could I have been so stupid. If I had only known all I had to do is ask an abuser to leave. Silly me! Who would have known!

        • Honeybadgerdontcare says:

So, simple. That’s exactly how it works with abusers. They just leave when you ask them (IBS).

        • Annah says:

I think HE left HER when he found out what she had been up to. THAT is why she was crying to the girls on vacation. “waa waaa waaa, he left me because he knows I’ve been lying about him, he’s disgusted with me and now he’s going to leave me with no money.”

      • RomoSheDiNT says:

You nailed it, MP! Omg I cannot stand her!
        Gail you’re right too!

    • anne_000 says:

Or… could it be the fear of being fired from a reality tv show…. which was allegedly the main reason why she dumped Russell……. nevermind Kennedy Caroline Washington Lincoln Jefferson Rothschild Vanderbilt supposedly being in “danger” (Taylor’s word) from Russell and her complaints about her alleged broken jaw, being thrown about, & the beatings……

    • Observer2 says:

The closest thing I saw to fear in that limo was Russell figuring out what Taylor had done to him and fearing what that would do to his reputation.

Oh I take that back, I also saw what appeared to be fear on Taylor’s part.

If you notice, the last time he started to speak, she was watching him like a hawk and when he opened his mouth to say something, she quickly intercepted/interrupted and said, “All couples have problems.” To which he stopped and thought about what she said and didn’t say another word while he tried to sort through what had just happened.

So yeah, the fear I saw in the limo was that Taylor would be exposed by Russell in front of the cameras on what his understanding was of what Taylor had told Camille. And, imo, she wasn’t about to let that happen.

But Taylor’s demeanor to me, was one of a person in charge of the situation and probably all hell was gonna break loose when they got home because Russell prevented her from being on camera with her friends at a party.

      • Observer2 says:

I must admit I recognized Taylor’s diversion tactic (interrupting her husband’s train of thought), because I’ve used it once or twice myself. **embarassed**

        • Colleen in NJ says:

Russell wasn’t savvy enough to lie in front of the camera. When you only had a fraction of a story how you respond to a question or situation can truly be so off the topic. I truly feel when he said he felt Camille’s comments “were an out and out lie” he was being honest. He had not clue the back story of Taylor and her desperation to be a victim and the length she was going. Russell became collateral damage and until there is proof of any abuse toward Taylor all declarations by bravo, Taylor or the HWs are defamation of Russell and to his memory.

        • LOL Observer2…. yes, that does work :0) Wish there was an “LOL” reply button on WordPress. A lot of comments I giggle over because Traylor’s behavior is so transparent it’s laughable but in the end we’re all watching the same show, right? How can anyone believe this big-lipped phony??

  14. TaylorArmstrong Taylor Armstrong
@ @CalieReality @teambrandig NP. So hard to understand if you’re not frightened out of your skin and in the midst of the abuse & turmoil.
    2 Jan

    • Made Piley says:

funny choice of words”frightened out of her skin”
um no Shaft that is not fright you are feeling, that is your skin crawling from all the “herbal diet pills” you have been snorting. And possibly the knowledge that you actually deserve a good asswhoopin.. naw what am I saying you would have to have a conscience to feel that. Its just the pills.

  15. RomoSheDiNT says:

Could y’all imagine if Shaft went to Hawaii? Oh Lord!
“It’s not fair!” “Where’s my make up?!” “I love you, Kyle.” “Has anyone seen Kennedy?”

  16. Tuzentswurth says:

“In her characteristic witty, lighthearted manner”………nothing says witty and lighthearted like domestic violence.

    • Uncommon Commenter says:

ITA…Clearly, she wrote this and got so caught up in complimenting herself that she forgot what she was writing about.

    • Colleen in NJ says:

Haha I’ve never heard a witty or lighthearted comment fly out of those platypus lips! She’s a wanna be in an environment totally out of her element. She says what she thinks people want to hear but witty? Funny! Nah never once! Baby voice and angry voice evil voice. yes!!!

  17. cyn1 says:

What bothers me so much about this is that everything about her sends the wrong message to those in a violent situation. If it was truly an abusive situation she chose to stay for her lifestyle. She had the means to leave but chose to stay and put her daughter in harms way. She see’s Russell death as the means of the abuse ending. She did nothing to protect her child from being around this abusive man and was going to let him co parent without any supervision. Everything about this is so wrong. Let’s not even mention hocking Vodka for a few dollars.

  18. Tuzentswurth says:

Kyle talks about “the severity of her situation,…and…obviously this girl needs help” .
Shana looks to me like she is having a substance abuse meltdown with alcohol being the extra catalyst.

  19. RegalBeagle says:

Nene says it best “CHILD PLEEZ”!

  20. RegalBeagle says:

Shana stop already! The few people that buy into your BS abuse story must stupid or illiterate. So go ahead put that book out there

  21. Cathy says:

Hi, I read and enjoy this blog daily. Thank you for having such an informative blog! I am glad there is a “say it like it is” website geared towards the RHO*.
I find the Bravo spin about the Armstrong’s infuriating and I am glad there are other people that see through it and question Taylor’s account.
I am encouraged by the negative response in the comments of every website announcing the book release! I feel strongly that this website has helped sway opinions and that is great!

    • Cathy: Thank you for the kind words. However, I must clarify one of your statements “this website has helped sway opinions.” It is NOT my intention to sway anyone’s opinion after reading what is posted about ANY of the HWs… SH readers can form their own opinions. SH readers and commenters are a very intelligent group.

I have never encouraged any reader of SH to form a negative opinion of ANY of the HWs. It is not my intention for this site to become a “hate” site or to focus on one HW… I do not, nor do I suggest, that readers “hate” any of the HWs. The information posted re Shana is factual… the majority of information (other than items marked “exclusive,” which include my personal talks with Russell’s exes and the Randy Edwards Q&A) has been culled from other reputable sites, with links to those sites.

It is my hope that you and other will recognize this. TFC!! SH

      • Cathy says:

I am sorry that I misspoke, I mean the information posted here has helped sway opinions. I definitely meant no offense and I appreciate that you would want to clarify!
        Have a great Monday!

  22. unaccomplished uneducated slattern says:

Since I don’t yet have my Masters not to mention Ph.D in Taylor watching I would like to ask a question of those of you who do.
Does Taylor have many fans? If any… who /why? How do people justify her behavior? Who do the publishers think are going to buy this book? They must think she has enough of a following in order to publish it and this concerns me. Are there that many people who believe her story and care enough about her to plunk down money or are they planning on the negative aspect of the story to sell the book?
I can’t imagine anyone believing anything this woman has to say just by her behavior on the show. She is very unlikable to say the least.

    • Colleen in NJ says:

I don’t know of a lot of positive commentary to support Taylor. I see some. Some people are like Dana if she said it happened it did. I guess I
Am a cynical person i need proof and words and actions and behavior does not match up here. Based on what we see on TV not believable. But I’m not gullible. I calls it as I sees it!!

      • unaccomplished uneducated slattern says:

Where have you read positve comments about Taylor? I try to find something good about her yet cannot think of one thing. Why is this woman still in the public eye? Is Bravo trying to cover their backs about their culpability in the tragedy by still pimping her out? This is all I can think of. We already know they have no hearts so why else would they continue with her

        • i’ve seen a few people supporting her as an “abuse victim”. I believe i’ve seen it here and shut down by the massive amount of anti-Taylor commenters. I don’t believe a word she has ever said. Anyone that changes their name as many times as she has and has had as many plastic surgeries to alter her appearance as many times as she has, is hiding from something. She is not comfortable in her own skin, she’s trying to hide from something. A lot of people have surgery to change imperfections in their appearance but Taylor? OMG, she looks like a freak. I do not live in LA so not sure of what all those women are thinking when they inject all these toxins in their face but my God, she is only 40 years old, she looks horrible. She’s destroyed her looks and has not worked on herself as a person. She is vapid. She lives in a world where she does not fit and apparently she’s living in a body she is uncomfortable in, as well. She’s sad and pathetic and she drags down everyone around her. These HWs are really being taken for a RIDE!

    • RomoSheDiNT says:

Go to her fb pg. There are some folks there that have def drank the Traylorade!

    • steview says:

UnUnSl – LOL in masters and Ph.D in Taylor watching….. obviously Braho must feel she is the winner and that Russell’s children and loved ones are just collateral damage.

  23. Bubbies says:

Nothing Taylor says is consistent. line Taylor is either lying on the show about Russell moving out and it being a mutual decision blah blah or she’s lying in her book. We all know she’s lying in the book.

  24. Annah says:

Taylor actually preyed on Kyle. She seen how Kyle ‘takes care’ of her sister, how Kyle likes to help the victim. Kyle is the EXACT type of person that ‘victims’ prey on for pity. Kyle stupidly fell for it. You can see how she played ALL of them, including her tactic for Lisa. If Taylor is on Season 3 I will not watch and I will be so disgusted with Bravo. Taylor has serious problems and I don’t even feel confident that she should be alone with Kennedy. Its THAT bad.

    • magdella says:

Taylor and Kyle totally deserve each other. Honestly, I find it difficult to watch Lisa now that she believes Taylor. Her credibility, even as a character on a reality show, is compromised. To hear that the other women are now “okay” with Taylor after the reunion, makes me feel like not even tuning in next season. They know darn well that she’s a liar and they all had huge doubts. That just show they’re all willing to throw the dead man under the bus to stay relevant. Disgusting.

      • Annah says:

I would LIKE to think that they are OK with each other meaning, not fighting and hating on each other. I would LIKE to think that they don’t want to associate with or support Taylor and want to distance themselves from her. I agree, IF they are still supportive of her and FRIENDS with her, I will have lost any interest in all of the BH housewives and would feel that they are low and vile people. If Bravo keeps that trash on for Season 3 I will definitely not want to watch and will have lost ANY tiny ray of hope I had in Bravo for having ANY morals.

  25. Petey says:

I don’t understand why TA would risk her future income w/RA by agreeing to out him as a “Twisted Man.” The one thing that RA had was his reputation and necessary in order to earn a living and attract investors. She must have known it would completely destroy his income earning ability the minute she decided to tell tales. Why would she jeopardize her future and KA’s knowingly in the process if she really wanted to “Work Things” out? She had to know what it would all lead to in the end. His good reputation meant income. And to do it on national TV-WTH?

    • kas says:

Because she could keep her “role ” on BH w/o him and still make $$ and by the twisted tale she told , get out of any responsibility for the lawsuits they faced with MMR and go on her merry happy way .

    • anne_000 says:

With all the financial problems, I think she thought it best to cut bait with her marriage & move on with her ‘storyline’ no matter who would get hurt. She was done with that marriage some time ago, imo. Once she realized that her storyline had to be amped up (“he beats me & broke my jaw & threw me around”), she did. Once she realized that Bravo would kick them both off the show because of Russell’s (actually both theirs) lawsuits, she dumped Russell for good this time in order to stay on the show. (Nevermind that it wasn’t because Russell was a probable “danger” (her word) to Kennedy – that wasn’t enough for her to dump him it seems.)

I think when her lie that Adrienne was Kennedy’s godmother was caught & uncovered on camera at the reunion, she got really scared. She knew she was on really thin ice then in addition to all the financial scam stories going around town (if the rumors are correct). Adrienne had her number and even Lisa was publicly expressing doubts about the Armstrongs. And Bravo knew they had some wacko on their hands. So how to amp up her storyline and make it a sensational season 2? Insinuating extreme violence by a husband. And Bravo ate it up.

    • steview says:

Petey…you could see the thought bubble over Traylor’s head start to work overtime when Lisa told Traylor that Russell would not be welcomed at Pandy’s engagement party because of something Russell had done to Lisa’s friend Mohammed. “What?….No more special parties? No more rubbing shoulders with the wealthier people in BH? What can I do to get back into the A-list? I know, let me suggest that Russ start suing Braho and the other housewives.” Master manipulators can get others to do just about anything. They know all the right buttons to push.

  26. cali girl says:

She had a court date last month in regards to the(alleged) fraud charge. Can’t find anything about it.

  27. Holy h**l. Just goes to prove, there is a buyer for every seller.

    • gail says:

amazing how things about her have seemingly disappeared off of the internet. Whoever her pr person is, must be very very good at what they do. When you type in her name I think more links come up for this site than anything else.

      • cyn1 says:

I have a friend that does this for a living and recently published a book on how to do it for yourself. He mainly works with companies that want to come up first in a google search. I should sit down and read his dang book.

  28. waves says:

She has some superb hired guns who know exactly how to move the bad stuff from the first pages of Google.

I sure wish I knew how to beat them at this game.

    • Made Piley says:

Perhaps legislation needs to me introduced and passed to prevent this. I am being totally serious because if this sorta thing is possible with a HW can you imagine what can be buried about a presidential candidate? Shudder to think. If we dont block this sorta propaganda manipulation then we will be left with the mainstream media (FOX and CNN-both sides yall) assuring us that “their” guy(or girl) is A-OK. slippery lope the bottom of wich is coming up fast and reeks of North Korea.
Soooo if I got to put on my Elle Woods suit and head on up to DC then so be it.

      • Made Piley says:

slope, which and um… um… oops (see I’m already on my way!)

      • waves says:

Totally agree, MP. It is definitely a slippery slope.

The only reason I know about the fact that manipulation is done w/ Google is because someone told me that improving business opportunities is accomplished with some computer tweeking. For example, if people want to find something on Google like “best floral displays in Providence”, the name you want comes up first.

        • Made Piley says:

Well my husband owns his own business and I have fielded sales calls for internet advertising companies claiming that same thing. I am skeptical about its effectiveness for “the little guy” like us. But I did see a feller named Howard Bragman on on Anderson Cooper talking about how to protect your online reputation(for a fee of course) So these things are done-if you are willing/able to pay for it. The deeper the pockets the better the reputation… yall got chills yet?
          http://www.andersoncooper.com/2012/01/03/howard-bragman-how-to-manage-your-online-reputation-more-information/

          • cyn1 says:

To be honest when I had the restaurant my friend had it that we were always the first to come up even above the larger chains. If I had paid him it would have been worth the money. I got more business from that than any advertising I ever did.

            • Made Piley says:

Thanks for the tip. I can see where that would be beneficial depending on the line of work the company specializes in. At this time we mainly do industrial work so internet advertising is not necessary. But there might come a day when we would utilize it as a marketing tool.

              • cyn1 says:

one tip I can give you is that if you have a web site have a section for articles about the industry. That contain buzz words and refer to questions asked or what you sell and promote. When people search on the web it will make your site pop up more often. The more hits you get the further you pop up on the page. Buying as many domain names that relate to your business is another key.
