Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Giudice… “SH EXCLUSIVE”… Whatever Happened to Juicy’s Driver’s License ‘Problem?’

                   Teresa and Joe Giudice’s House…

According to my very reliable New Jersey “insider,” the Joodices are planning ahead… past that pesky bankruptcy court date less than two weeks from today… and are building on to their “re-done” house in Towaco NJ.  Building permits have been issued for construction on the outside of their home.

But wasn’t there another court case coming up?  The one which Juicy could spend some serious years behind bars if found guilty?  The one back in March, where Juicy obtained a new driver’s license using his brother’s identification?    It was a big deal… so big that there was an official press release sent out from the New Jersey DA’s office… here.

“Mr. Giudice was arrested at his home earlier today as the result of an investigation this office did with assistance from the state Motor Vehicle Office,” Chief Assistant Prosecutor Jay W. Mc Cann said.

According to the release, Giudice, 40, allegedly obtained a driver’s license from the Paterson branch of the Motor Vehicle Office using his brother’s identifying information in June 2010. Giudice’s license was suspended at the time and still is, according to the statement.

Giudice, who has a suspended license, is charged with wrongfully using an ID of another person and forgery and, if found guilty, could face more than 10 years in state prison, according to the release.  Mc Cann said that bail is set at $50,000 with no 10 percent option.

No one has heard the result of Juicy’s arrest… is Juicy getting ready to spend some time in a New Jersey State Corrections facility??

According to another of my New Jersey “insiders”… here’s what happened:

Juicy got off from the charges!  Juicy paid a fine and was sent home.

How the hell did Juicy go from looking at 10 years in prison to paying a fine and living in his Towaco mini-mansion?

Here’s how…

Juicy ratted out his aunt who worked at the Department of Motor Vehicles and Juicy also ratted out a father of one of his friends who helped him in obtaining his fraudulent drivers license.

And… that’s the way it’s done… the Joodice Jersey way.  March 27, 2011 SH Juicy DL post… here.

Just for the hell of it…

About Stoopid Housewives

The Real Housewives franchises have become a guilty pleasure for me and I've become intrigued by 'normal' people who would agree to put their lives on television for public display and scrutiny. What are their motives to divulge their daily routines for viewing audiences to approve, reprimand, berate, castigate, attack; basically abuse and judge? Oh, just forget about the above nonsense... the majority of these people are just stoo-pid.

  1. snarkygirl says:

    With relatives like that…

  2. monica says:

Are you sure he just didnt take a plea deal?

    • monica: Just goin’ by what my source tells me! Whether it was a plea deal or not, Juicy saved his skin by ratting others out. He was looking at real prison time. TFC!! SH

      • Stlrfan8 says:

Did they say what he ratted them out for? Did they force the illegal license through or were they up to no good in other areas?

      • monica says:

I cant see him ratting out his own family. Maybe he did but I dont believe that. I dont think your lying so dont take it that way. Im a big fan of yours! I just dont think its true.

        • monica: You are entitled to your opinion. However, my NJ sources have never been wrong… and if you knew who they were, you would never have written that comment! And, no… sorry, I would NEVER say who they are. Whateva… SH

      • Kb says:

Update on this story? Per recent comments below, he did not get off of the charges and was indicted this week. What do your sources say?

  3. Wow! That is some great scoop, SH!

  4. PixelDust says:

For Teresa’s sake, I’m actually glad that that is behind them.

  5. JD says:

WOW…Giudice is a stool pigeon WOW this won’t seat well with Renee G…lol

  6. vp says:

SH has got some great NJ sources today!

  7. Sassy Pants says:

I’m not going to fault Tre for Joe’s mistakes. He seems like he runs things with the way he talks to and treats her, so he may do a lot of things without her consideration. I still love Tre and those cutie girls of hers.

    • deb says:

the girls may be “cute” but they behave like animals!

      • Sassy Pants says:

I’ve said this plenty….what has Gia, Gabriella, or Audriana done? Miliania is the only one climbing and getting into things, but she IS a child.

        • BelowSeaLevel says:

I agree with you, Sassy. Tre’s kids seem like pretty normal kids, cute, nothing that you wouldn’t expect to see when you are at the store or in public.

        • belladee says:

Sassy, I wrote a reply last night, but than decided to not post it. Basically I said the same as you about Milania being the only one that misbehaves. I would NEVER refer to a CHILD as an ANIMAL. I also was going to say that I am a good mother, who stays at home with my child. I play, read and give him tons of love and attention, but my son is just as out of control as Milania. So I guess my child is an animal too.

  8. mrskatie says:

Love the wall post/picture today – Cracking me up

  9. leighmarker says:

    he certainly didn’t age well.

  10. OMG. I just saw the wallpost. Hysterical with a capital H. By the way,I love that picture of Tre and Joe. Its always nice to see when people first started out and how in love they were.

  11. mssuburbia says:

Sending him to prison for a crime of stupidity would be pointless and expensive to the taxpayers. I also don’t think it’s a testament of his bad character to tell how he obtained the license. Seriously, if it was between the aunt losing her job at the DMV for ISSUING a fake ID, or Juicy going to prison for ten years, I think the cost-benefit on that is pretty clear, even though there’s no winner. They both got in some trouble, which is fair. If I had a wife and four kids at home, I’d sing like a canary too.

    • mssuburbia says:

The aunt should have told on herSELF!

    • S says:

shouldn’t his aunt be charged with a crime then? Should be a bigger consequence than just getting fired.

      • mssuburbia says:

Seems like she should be, S. I have no idea what actually happened to her. I think it’s a safe bet that they didn’t threaten her with ten years of hard time.

        • Laughing says:

I doubt he just “ratted” out his Aunt & Friend’s Dad, They probably agreed that it would be the best option under the circumstances. He doesn’t seem like the type to go run & tell. They could have very well approached him in concern for the amount of time he was looking at and had many discussions on how to handle this whole mess. I myself would not have been ok as the Aunt or Friend’s dad to just ignore the situation if I was involved. Some people do feel guilty and even though a person does something stupid it doesn’t mean they are not capable of doing the right thing in the end.

          • debi says:

Agreed..they always plea out or down..especially with no pryors! Here in Fl. its a joke. They scare the hell outta you & then everyone gets probation. I doubt they’de have sent him 2 prison over that!! Theres alot more serious violent crime all over! I don’t believe Joe is that weak of a man..ohhh rat for drivers license fraud.. not buying it!! Have great day!!!

  12. Sistah T says:

    Christmas should be awkward….

  13. belladee says:

OK this is why I don’t think what Joe did was serious enough for Jail…My friends and I did it too! When we were 18 we went to NJ Motor vehicles with older sisters/cousins/Friends birth certificates and got IDs saying we were 21 and were able to party in Hoboken and the shore. Yes it was wrong but we did it.

    • Mythunker says:

Me too, belladee (insert teenage snicker here).
Difference is we were young. Joe is far from young.

      • belladee says:

By the way, back then it was easier. There was no picture in the computer of your previous license. Now they have your previous picture in the computer and you need to show 3 forms of ID. They got strict after 9/11. Joe looks like his brother so they wouldn’t have noticed even if it his Aunt didn’t help him. My name on my license was as Irish as can be and totally confused the people checking IDs..LOL

    • mssuburbia says:

Me three! I even got caught twice. Got booted from the clubs, but didn’t get in trouble.

    • belladee: Totally different circumstances. When Juicy obtained the fake DL, his DL was suspended already. He had other charges against him, including driving under the influence. He was given STRAIGHT bail, no percentage. It was very serious… again, he was facing a prison sentence. This was not a little “let’s see if we can get into a club” deal.

      http://stoopidhousewives.com/2011/03/27/juicy-i-aint-giulty/ TFC!! SH

      • mssuburbia says:

“Let’s see if we can drink underage” deal? and possess an official driver’s license with our own picture and someone else’s info?

I would never agree with sending osmeone to prison over having a fake ID that he only used for driving, working, supporting his family (albeit somewhat-poorly), etc.. Hell, if Sandusky’s convicted, he’ll get house arrest!

        • Ms: Are you aware of the entire story… back in March when Juicy was arrested at his house? If not, please read… and then comment. TFC!! SH

          • mssuburbia says:

Just read it and my position is pretty much the same. The rational middle ground should have prevailed. Ten years of prison is overkill. He should have had a fitting punishment or plea deal. The aunt should have admitted what she had done, and not put him in the position of being the rat. “Very serious,” to me, is a whole list of other crimes with victims. I think Juicy is a total jackass and alcoholic, but not a candidate for ten years in the pen . . . yet.

            • Ms: In comparison with “belladee” and equating what Juicy did with getting some fake ID as a teen, Juicy’s actions were quite serious.. punishable for up to 10 years in prison. That is not to say that he would have gotten that sentence; however, if the judge wanted to be a total jerk and badass, that would have been his prerogative. Nor am I saying that I would have wished that on him.

My position is also steadfast in that Juicy was already on thin ice. Knowing full well as a grown man, the possible repercussions for his actions. In comparison to other crimes, this is nothing. However, let’s not treat it as a kid who didn’t realize what he was doing. TFC!! SH

            • Laurie says:

Mssuburbia I totaly agree with you. The time doesnt fit the crime. Hell murders and rapists (not all) get less time. Fake Ids are being used everyday by illegals are they going to put all of them in jail for ten years? Not! I dont think anyone is saying what he did wasnt wrong. Its the amount of punishment thats wrong.

              • madepiley says:

Speakin of illegals.. this is satire and should be taken as such so…..lets check in with Jackie and Dunlap ta see what they got to say on the issue

              • r8dernationbby says:

10 years give me a break..and how many fraud cases for food stamps go unpunished or with a slap on the wrist? This was overkill to the max. No excusing the fact he knew what he was doing, he should have some type consequence, but sending him down for a 10 spot is silly and waste of tax payer money.

      • Kb says:

Thank you! This is an adult who had his license suspended for a DUI! That is pretty serious and it wasn’t his first offense. This is a 40 year old man who could have killed someone. That is not hyperbole. But he has cute kids so he doesn’t have to go to jail???

    • AngryOldman says:

Now, it’s really a homeland security issue. I bet the aunt and father’s friend didn’t help for free. And if JoDice could bribe/coerce them, they are probably susceptible to other forms of enticement. I think JoDice got off easy and should be punished for his actions.

      • AOM: Are you gettin’ all serious and stuff?? Is this really the real AOM?? You’re confusing me!!! TFC!! SH

        • AngryOldman says:

I know, right? I never dug deep into the story cause, well, it’s a Giudice and assumed he probably tried to break the law in the dumbest way possible (like taking his broither’s papers to the DMV and hoping they don’t notice facial differences; or taking in his brother’s high school yearbook and saying “see dat? dat’s me”). But to find out he had accomplices on the inside, well, yeah – that’s kinda scary.

Besides, and I hate to say this but…..terrorists are kinda smart. Or at least savvy. If rock-headed JoDice can get a fake ID out of the system, imagine what a highly motivated, well-funded and trained terrorist could do.

Plus if he got convicted and sent to jail, it would be fun to watch Tree complain about how “the terrorists ruined it for the rest of us” cause before 9/11 felonies were just plain fun!

          • AOM, I can see it now. Damn those terrorists! They ruined it for all us law abiding citizens.

          • DebWeb says:

AOM, your comment is so on point and what you said would/could be the TRUTH, if stone- head Juicy Joe can get a fake ID out of the system, so can the new terrorist as you said!

And your comment about it would be fun to watch Tree complain ” the terrorist ruined it for the rest of us cause bf 9/11 felonies were just plain fun” is hysterical!!! Always luv your comments & just wanted u to know…much respect & appreciation.

      • gessie says:

This is what is really scary to me.

      • lisa says:

Honestly if you commit perjury and get a Goverment ID its serious under those circumstances you should go to jail for a very long time
9/11 changed everything includinghow to get a ID i work for Uncle sam to get my last Military id so i can get on base i had to bring 2 picture IDs and my BC and i had worked for the GM for 20 yrs already.
        they get very ser

  14. JD says:

OK I have to confess…I like Teresa’s house (the outside). But i would paint it an off dark beige white and paint the scones green, i would also plant lots of tall trees and vines, and i would have the vines creeping up the house. Now inside i would def take the onyx marbles OUT and fill it with dark stained wood. It would be much cozier. It would be much much NICER.

  15. gessie says:

Juicy Joe used to be soooooooooo handsome. He needs to lay off the homemade wine. And quit driving drunk. that is disgraceful. He should at least have gotten 10,000 hrs. of community service in a brain and spine trauma rehabilitation unit.

  16. Dee says:

I have to say, I do miss the Jersey Wives! I can’t wait for this insanity to start back up again.

  17. jaybird says:

Theresa needs to just dump that terrible man. She would be so much happier. Granted I doubt she would ever find a man that would be able to put up with her bratty kids. But I think she would be happier single than tied down to an idiot that is constantly ruining things for her.

  18. Mary Ann says:

Jaybird, I agree – she needs to dump him… It would be hard for her to get remarried, being a Catholic, but she can take care of herself and her kids, on her own. I never liked the way JooDice treated her, he always talks down to her and is kind of insulting – she needs to cut him loose and fly on her own.

    • mssuburbia says:

Mary Ann, Catholic annulments can be bought for $500, in just about any circumstance. The reason it would be hard for Teresa to get remarried, is because she’s Teresa. And no good man would choose that mess.

I vote that she and Juicy confine their misery to a ONE single household. Stay together, Joodices!

      • deb says:

woot woot! keep the crazy train on the tracks and the bratty cage deserving kids with them!
if my kids behaved that way i would expect half the town i live in to kick my butt.

  19. Buck Johnson says:

The real scary thing that is in all this and you pointed it out SToopid Housewife, is the fact he rated out his aunt and friends father to save his neck. Now as I commented on the IRS post, they are looking at Giudices supposedly and what’s to stop him from deciding to tell real dark secrets about all of the wives and their husbands (remember the comment about the Brownstone made by Teresa during the reunion). I think we are going to see alot of drama during the filming of the 5th season when the 4th is showed on television.

    • madepiley says:

And while they are at it.. check out the Bravo paychecks for Slimey’s involvement on the show that divert thru Wretchen. While Slimey pleaded poverty and tried to get the tax payers of CA to cover his kids medical bills. (allegedly)

      • BelowSeaLevel says:

Wouldn’t it be nice to shine a bright light from the law on his finances? You know, just to make sure he has been honest and all that.

  20. superkicker says:

Juicy reminds me so much of Fred Flintstone in both looks and personality.

  21. pinot says:

    Could the feds have
asked the state to back down, because their case is stronger? Lying about their bk?

  22. mssuburbia says:

That’s a great point. It would be nice to see the documentation. It is possible that he got diversion (a stayed sentence); if so, we won’t see a record of that as long as he fulfills the terms of his program.

  23. Whitegirl1 says:

This case was investigated so they were full aware of the aunt and the friend, maybe because they were getting fired anyway they told joe take the plea so he wouldn’t go to jail. That’s his family and longtime friend makes since to me.

  24. belladee says:

This is in response to a couple of people’s posts on here
I am not saying the other things Joe did were not serious. I am extremely against drinking and driving and think it is selfish for someone to get behind the wheel of a car knowing they could possibly hurt or kill someone besides themselves. I remember watching Teresa and Joe trying to explain with that BS story on season 3 to the Lauritas. I have been to weddings and parties where people drink all night knowing they have to drive home. Too many people do it and they don’t think anything of it until something bad happens. So for a first offense of DUI you lose your license for 3-9 months depending on how much alcohol is in your system, yet 10 years in Jail for getting a fake license. Again, being guilty of it myself I am sure that has influenced my opinion. I was 18 and if I got caught I would probably be subjected to the same penalties. I think any prison time would be extreme and I am too pretty to go to jail and be someone’s b*tch ;-) . Yes, I understand his license was suspended at the time, but I would think suspending it for an extra year would be punishment enough. Like someone else said, there are more serious crimes that get way less than 10 years. I don’t agree with those white collar criminals getting 25 years when a rapist is out in 7.

    • Kb says:

You do know that he had more than 1 DUI? This was not one time thing. So he committed fraud to get this license because he was trying to get out of the consequences, which a suspended license seems like a slap in the hand for such a serious offense. Regardless of his accomplices, he is guilty of SOMETHING here. I am surprised by so many people excusing this as just foolish behavior as if he was some teenager. On a side note: Does anyone know how DUI’s can you get before jail time. Certainly Lindsay Lohan has had pretty serious consequences including jail time.

      • belladee says:

        NJ Law
        1st offense –
-under .08, 3 months lose of license
-over .08, 7 months lose of license
-over .15 7 months with an interlock device.
2nd offense- within 10 years – 2 years lose of license with interlock device.
3rd offense – within 10 years – 10 year lose of license, interlock device and 180 days in Jail.
If suspended for a DUI and get caught driving – 10 days in jail and add’l year loss of license. Just for fake ID is a 4th degree crime. Presenting the false license to a police officer is a 3rd degree crime and implicating another in a crime (using someone elses name) is a 3rd degree. 3rd degree punishable by 3-5 years and 4th degree punishable by 1-3 years. Being that NJ has a very liberal justice system, most offensers do not receive jail time. The prosecutors office reserves the right to downgrade or dismiss any charges that they see fit

        • belladee says:

Correction – implicating another in a crime (using someone elses name) is a 2rd degree, punishable 5-10.

        • Kb says:

Wow, thanks for the info, Belladee. Judging by Joe’s behavior on the show, he has not stopped drinking to excesss. I’m sure egotistical Joe believes he is a good driver even when drunk and therefore we can fully expect a repeat of this behavior. The lack of serious consequences and his fake ID crime fully illustrate his complete lack of self awareness and morals.

  25. DeliaMae says:

This little man has way more going on than just a fake ID and we all know it. He’s just ‘giving up’ these felonies to cover something bigger up. What that is we may never know…although I do know some awesome posters on this site who are fantastic at getting the goods on these folks. Ms SH..and fellow posters I always enjoy reading what y’all have to say and find.

  26. belladee says:

Has the Aunt’s name been made public?
