Brandi Glanville… “Cedric who???”
Star magazine is reporting that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ ‘friend of the Housewives’, Brandi Glanville made up the story that she and Cedric Martinez were old friends to secure a place on the show. According to Star, Brandi and Cedric never knew each other.
From Star:
“…however, a source close to Brandi confirms that it was all a big fat lie! “Bravo bigwigs set the meeting up to see if Brandi and Cedric would bond and if she could prove a worthy opponent for Lisa,” an insider reveals.”
Hmmm… so Bravo was looking for an “opponent” to go up against Lisa??? Well, that’s the reason Star is giving for Bravo recruiting Brandi… here.
She lied? Oh, big surprise…not. She has no talent, her husband dump her for another woman. She needs money, no wonder she lied.
She may not need the money. He should be paying child support. She just probably wants to be famous like everyone else is getting. My reality show starts tomorrow as soon as my grandson wakes up and my medication wears off. Yall might not hear from me for a while though.
Since he’s married now child support goes on their joint income what a break for Brandi.
Incidentally someone should tell her twitter isn’t the best place to resolve issues with her ex over custody arrangements. Sharing her issues on twitter and than blasting Leanne for commenting is crazy when she is putting it out there. Time for a little maturity for the children’s sake.
I think maturity went out the window the minute Leanne and Brandi’s ex proceeded to dry hump on set like horny teens. I’m all for all parties acting in the best interest of a child, but damn if this woman gets blame while the father and the trollop he’s with are not held accountable for their immature and selfish actions.
If we’re going to start reprimanding folks about maturity, the husband and his boney trollop need to address a long ass list of fan grievances first on immaturity. Brandi’s the last on my list.
I live in NJ so I guess having my won reality show is out of the question. LOL
I do wonder what kinda of background checks Bravo does and if they do risk assessments?
Some times I think some of the franchises are one step away from major damage and law suits.
Oh man, so Brandi’s friends are all in question – like how her and Adrienne ‘were friends’ prior to the show?!
I still prefer Brandi over Taylor, so I’m glad they brought her in and hoping they can let Taylor go after this season.
They need to let Lisa go. She has too much money. She thinks she is better than everyone. Nothing she says and nothing about her is entertaining or funny. Don’t you supposed to bring something to the show? She brings nothing. What they need to do is dig into her background and see what they find because she is too perfect. If they don’t find anything, they need to send her ass home. She adds nothing to the show. Her nose is always up in the air. Anyone would get tired of seeing that every week sooner or later! Send the OLD wanna be YOUNG lady home!!!!! I’m sick of her and that dried up Ken!
I actually prefer the RHOBH to have some glamour and actual money like Lisa. I like Kim’s child star background and the Camille’s cliche trophy wifeness- it supports my “fantasy” about Beverly Hills in general.
Really? I like her a ton more than I like Dana, Kyle and Traylor. I would rather watch an hour of Lisa, Ken & Jiggy than 3 minutes of Traylor that’s for sure. I think she brings total and complete honesty to the show. I am just saddened that she seems to be falling for Traylor’s (IMO) made up DV stories.
The one with too much money and nothing that interesting to say is actually Adrienne. Her husband carries her storylines cause hes so adorable and hilarious. Lisa & Ken have worked extremely hard and continue to work and have their hand in everything about their restaurants. they even say that if they didn’t then they wouldnt have so much…they werent born into money like Adrienne. I think Lisa is very humble and generous. She’s 50, lives in a 17,000 square foot home that she works for and she’s British. if her nose wasnt slightly in the air i would be concerned.
I agree. I liked Adrienne last season, but I think what we’re seeing this season is more of her real self and no me gusta. I like her cooking scenes tho. Lol
I love how she said she’s over her husband and “power dating” MS SH posted that blind from BG that clearly was her f**kin* three guys at the same time including Gerard Butler.
I’ve never cared for Brandi but my G.A.S unit (Give A Sh*tt*r) is really getting empty on my empathy for Kim….I hate Bravo for how Season 1 finale played out last year but to not be human & just accept apology & move on? Especially being a mom? C’mon….do you remember how Kim tried to get all our empathy how all the girls didnt like her at the beginning of Season #1 cuz she was different?…..Hello? Pot meet Kettle?

(Well, I really love James Franco)….Oh and I know we’re not supposed to get all personal but here’s the 6th degrees of separation from the series…..James Franco starred in 127 hours….the movie about Aaron (who cut his arm off)….He is a friend of our family….his nephew wrestle for my hubby. Sorry to get off track.

MP, I know nothing about the movie & I did not read the book…my hubby says it is way different than the book….I so love James Franco…there’s so much that was missed…He almost did not make it out…it was a series of events in those days and it’s just so weird…..I dont look at him as a hero, he wrote of himself as he was, as arrogant ass….and I felt he was so I really never wanted to get to know him but now that his brother in law is our coach, he’s around and I’ve forced myself to talk to him and He’s a supportive uncle (nephews play sports with my boy)….he is normal)…I dont ask because I just want normal and I think he does too….I think it was a dumbass thing to do. I appreciate his book though. hopefully my son wont pull that stunt.
I think the movie tried in a way to portray they arrogantness you speak of. Its that crazed indestructibleness that a lot of those granola eaters get wrapped up in in their younger years. Main thing I took away from it was that God had other plans for him so even under the slimmest of odds he HAD to make it so he could meet that girl and have that baby.
I think you’re right MP…because If I remember right, this was the first time he had missed work and told someone kind of where he might be and his mom was persistent….He is quite the father so God does have a way of changing us & like i’ve said, he is so supportive of his nephews….I think the hollywood thing had to die down…nobody around here gives a hoot who he is…MP, I like your statement…and it ties into all of our comments on all of it…God has other plans for all of us so under even under the slimmest of our odds (be it DV, drugs, alcholism, mental abuse, etc), we HAVE to make it so we can MAKE IT! That would be a good show. We find millionaires and set them up to do progressively harder math questions (start at 5th grade and go up) and we see exactly how dumb the people with all the money are! Then we speculate how these people could manage the successful business ventures that got them the money! First up JoGo and JoDIce.
I see the humor in that. But not all entrepreneurially inclined dynamos are math whizzes. They simply appreciate the wisdom of hiring people who are good with number to do all that tedious stuff for them. Not saying this is the case with the Guidices(obviously) or the Gorgas at all. But REAL business owners are not necessarily Captain Calculus. Most of them do have very good memory recall though. Like rainman level brilliance that helps the prioritize things and make stuff happen.

Yeah, I do…he’s married with kids…different guy now…he was so arrogant as he even portrayed in his book so I had now interest in knowing him at all but he’s pretty cool about not making it all about him. When the HS celebrated the State Championship for the wrestlers last spring and his Bro in Law got all the awards….he was there for support only and him and his wife come to all the nephews games so it’s cool. We just went through kind of where he was at when it happened although we were in the State Park by Moab….those slip canyons are beautiful but there’s no way I’d go off by myself knowing how the weather moves in the desert the way it does…extreme heat, terrential rains….you know have to check in with someone before you go off on your own like that….It’s a beautiful area but very dangerous.

I think its bullpoopy. Brandi has been battling with the sisters not Lisa.Well not as much anyways. I think Brandi doesnt take any crap. Has been getting more attention then Andy and he is not a happy camper.

The “scuttlebutt” on Lisa is that she is being primed to hosting her own show. She will become the “new Sharon Osborne”. Which may be the way they are paving her departure by suggesting that she has more or less distanced herself from the others. (And who wouldn’t considering the morons she is expected to appear with?)
IMHO, there is not one likable character on this series. Lisa remains a overstuffed version of a snob. Kyle is a two faced witch. Kim is as close to be considered nuts as is Dana. Camille is Camille. Taylor is worthless. Adrienne acts like she is just going through the paces. Paul is “moving in” just like Simon van Kampen. And Mauricio is featured for the “wow” factor.
As for Ken carrying around that dog like an appendage, it’s getting pretty old. I like animals but treating Giggy like a baby is taking it much too far. And whoever had the bright idea to include Faye Resnick into this franchise needs their head examined.
The only one I can tolerate is Adrienne’s chef who rolls his eyes much like I do when watching the idiocy of these women. And I think there is more to the Cedric/Lisa/Ken story than we have been told. Now that might be interesting!

I am not sure your mild 19th century antics are what Bravo is looking for. Personally, I could go for less revealing attire and more cerebral hijinks, but I’m well aware that I am in the minority.
I think that Bravo recognizes that there are tons of “idiots” out there looking to be made into “stars”. They hit the “motherlode” with most of them since few, if any, have shown a degree of commonsense or intelligence when it comes to their behavior on these shows.
Camille is being “congratulated” for exposing Taylor’s questionable lies while still managing to get in a few more digs against Kelsey at every opportunity. Not too smart when considering that there are 2 kids from this marriage who may be injured by her comments along the way.
She is as much of a moron today as she was when this show began.
Bravo grabbed onto Brandi because she’s current in the gossip world and the world of Twitter.
The warring between the Brandi fans and the Leann Rimes fans are similar, though not as grand in scope, to the Angelina/Jen loonies. I think there are a few of the Leann super fans commenting on this very thread!
