I think it is more like that is nothing that would shock them about Melissa and joe and their quest for fame and attention. Why are you ashamed of NJ? I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else? (or are you refering to the franchise?)
belladee, I LOVE NJ! I’m referring to the NJ HW Franchise and Jersey Shore. They make us look like idiots. Everytime I travel out of state for business and mention I’m from NJ they all ask if NJ people act like RHONJ and or Jersey Shore.
Example: Teresa writes a cookbook and doesn’t know how to pronounce ingredients. Joe and Melissa think they have a great work ethnic (ethic). LOL These NJ housewives dress like we’re still in the 80′s. They are so gaudy. As you must know being from NJ we all don’t dress, talk or behave like that.

. Yeah I was on vacation and people were asking me reality show questions as if NJ was a town and we all knew each other. Jersey shore and Jerseylicious style is bad and not what we typically wear, but the housewives fashion isn’t that bad. Remember they have stylists from Reve and other boutiques that dress them so they are always in what’s trendy. In my 20s I always dress in the trends and always depended on my InStyle mag. to help. Now in my 30s I try to keep with the trend but it takes so much effort, so I gave up and dress more traditional. Too expensive to change your style every season!
