Second, what are the Gorga’s smoking that they think this is appropriate? Is there any question why his parents don’t like MeGo? She looks like a total moron! For what it’s worth, BGG tweeted that it was the DJ who said those words!!! And there does indeed seem to be a break in the tweets with the Manzo boyz…and it’s not because Albie lost his phone–he tweets his BLK appearance schedule regularly.
Maybe they figured out that those fancy phones they all have can be used for PRIVATE texts, or emails, or [GASP] PHONE CALLS!!!! (“OMG, when did THIS feature to make a phone call become available…why wasn’t I told???”)

Agree. It’s one thing to be who you are and unashamed of it and quite another to go overboard in trying to offend people with it. I think that is why they get push back from the community. There are many gay people who are more offended than the straight people over this behavior.
When I was young and single I would always go to gay bars with my friends, they are usually lots of fun. I think your confused because anytime you put Joe Gorga and big gay Greggy in a scenario it is instantly disgusting.

I think Greg is the token gay on NJ, which Andy probably insisted on. I wonder how long the MANZO nerds knew Greg, or did they know him at all before the HWs show. I question this friendship and think Greg is a plant from BRAVO just to talk trash on Teresa, and to LOVE Joe and Melissa. I also think that Andy wants to infuse all the HWS show with gay men for his own personal interests. Greg really irks me for some reason. Usually gay men are galpals with females instead of heterosexual males. We have much more in common…make up tips, gossip, and MEN! I speak from my own experience as my best friend is gay. We watch the show together and his gaydar doesnt detect that Albie or Chris are gay, or they even are true friends with Greg. Does anyone really think that Albie or Chris would go the this club with Greg?? I think not. Imagine what people would say!!!
I think Andy has his own ulterior motives…and will push his own agenda using the network. I also think he hates females, and sits back in delight while these women make fools of themselves, and sell their souls (family included) for a moment in the spotlight. The video above is just weird. Joe is either faking just like Kim Z did when she declared she had a lesbian affair, or he secretly harbors lust for men. I think he is on the ANDY bandwagon, and knows this will delight the boss.
I was thinking the same thing about Andy after I watched the RHONJ reunion! There are some men(gay or not) who just really despise women and I think Andy is one of them. He seems to take great pleasure in ripping these women apart.
Gregg Bennet has been on the show for some time, he use to be Teresa’s biggest fan. He and Albie were roommates in college, it wasn’t till this season that he had such a prominent role.

I think Bravo wanted a gay man on RHoNJ but I don’t think it’s just Andy’s agenda. Gay men, especially in the coveted 18-45 demographic, are a large part of Bravo’s audience so it’s natural for the network to feature such men. As with everything on these shows, there’s lots of producer intervention so the Manzo Booyyyeees friendship with Greg was probably encouraged for the show.
As for the subtle misogyny inherent in HW shows, as well as any other show featuring women behaving badly, I think you’ve got a good point.

You know I actually liked her when she first joined the show and I thought at the time that she was on the end of Teresa’s hatred and her belief that this girl wasnt good enough for brother (which she finally admitted to) but as the weeks went on she just didnt sit well with me. Her husband is an idiot and always doing something that screams LOOK AT ME!! Between his dresses, the way he acts towards his wife etc. These two need to go, RHWONJ needs a serious injection of class and it isn’t the Gorgas. I used to go to gay clubs all the time when I was younger, one of my best male friends was gay (May he R.I.P.) and he used to love taking me and I enjoyed it so much it is truly a whole different world in those clubs and if you dont walk out with a smile on your face then something is wrong lol but these two, they belong on another planet. I am no fan of Teresa but I can see why now she doesn’t like her sister in law all that much.

ENOUGH! Never had a high opinion of the Guidices, but the Gorgas are really the yuck on the bottom of the barrel. It is beyond me how anyone can really like/admire those two and not see through their extreme desire to get attention and be famous at any cost (yes, including horribly embarrassing their parents w/ their disgusting behavior and junk they are hawking referring to Joe’s “poison”/Tarzan (YUCK) I am actually wanting to defend T. in regard to Melissa these days despite T’s huge, obvious issues – but not Juicy; he belongs in the Gorgas’ column! Please Jesus, protect all those sweet little children as they are going to be so humiliated by their parents as they grow older, if not already.
BRAVO has pretty much hit the bottom of the slippery slope and hit a new low point with the Gorgas and Greggy — not funny, entertaining, or at all clever. All this nastiness needs to just disappear….including the Kardashian plague. Is this really what the majority of people enjoy and want? It is too upsetting that this is becoming what is the standard American image in the world. The HW shows have all become embarrassing – or at least we the viewers are embarrassed FOR them. I am embarrassed that I watched as long as I did…..no more.
I admit I too felt that Tre was unnecessarily mean to the Gorga’s at the beginning of the season. Still can’t excuse her crazy behavior or her thug husband. But I could sure see, if this is normal behavior for them, that Tre would be embarrassed for the public to see the seediness in her immediate family. Tarzan Joe just makes my skin crawl, Blecht!
Just one more thing about Tre. So many posters seem to think that if you are disgusted by Mego, by default you should support Tre. Taking EVERYONE out of the picture, the attacks, etc. Tre has major issues as you point out. I could never support her. Kb…Making it clear: I feel slightly defensive for T. based only on MeGo and her family masterfully manipulating that dimwitted brother of T’s and going full attack on T. in the very beg. of the season – the viewers responded against her so she changed her game and rebounded while T. just blundered on in her same offensive manner; MeGo is smarter. And, the reunion was definitely a full out nasty over the top attack on T., abetted by Andy himself, by women who don’t all exactly have clean finances and are somewhat hypocritical – and one was too gutless to even show up but tweeted enough to make everyone want to say: Show up or SHUT UP, Jacqueline. They ALL need to go away…and Juicy is indeed a criminal (perhaps T. also??), but the Lauitas are looking a little shady themselves the last couple days….just saying… play fair.
