Note to Lisa: It don’t matter that Lionel Richie gave you a reggae beat for your updated version. Sometimes it’s better NOT to play around with the original… and that’s definitely the case with your singing.

At first I thought she sang this is a lark on a karaoke night and since her son is into music and he recorded it and mixed it and they decided to share it just for fun. But no, the fact that she brought it up to Lionel Ritchie while they were dining together tells me that she really thought it was amazing. What could he do? He had to be nice and try to do something with it. What’s next, hitting up Adrienne and ask to headline at her Vegas hotel?
Song kinda reminds me of Olivia Newton John… The less impressive years! Er.. All her years were great, but the later haggier years, maybe?
