Dina Manzo mentions Teresa Giudice’s launch party… and why she was there…below…
WOW! Dina Manzo must have been waiting for the last second of the Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Reunion Show to end... because as soon as the show ended, Dina posted this entry called “The Truth!” on her site.
I am posting all of what Dina wrote because her site has crashed… so, here is what Dina has to say about Teresa, Caroline and being on the Real Housewives of New Jersey…

I debated on if I should even do this but maybe this will put this all to rest. Just so you know I’ve been offered A SERIOUS amount of money to sell this to many outlets BUT I chose to do it for free here. (So all of you who have something to say can shove it : )) I wanted the truth to be out there not twisted the way it was when one of the magazines did a story on why I left the housewives in the first place. My gut feeling was just to remain silent but I do value the fans that have stuck with me and continue to support me after I left the housewives and I feel they do deserve an explanation. So this ones for you…everyone else just trying to start trouble, don’t even bother reading the rest.

Yes, It’s true I decided to distance myself from ALL the housewives once I left season 2…
I really wanted to walk away from all of the toxic behavior, I was not into ganging up on anyone and I was no longer obligated to talk about Danielle so the best thing for me to do was stay away. They still needed to do this and I get that, but I had no desire. I guess some of the “housewives” may have taken that as I think I’m better than them…that couldn’t be further from the truth.
This is the truth~
As the housewives filming progressed for us so did my involvement in my foundation for children with Cancer Project Ladybug. The exposure we received from Bravo allowed Project Ladybug to spread it’s wings and I became more invested than ever and opened more funds throughout the country to help these children. When you watch mothers lose their children as I have, the bickering of who said what seems so silly. The “problems” that I once got so wrapped up in seemed so petty compared to what is really important in life. Working with these children & their families has been the biggest eye opening experience for me. I have become a better person than I was because of it and that is the truth.
I’m not proud of what went down season one and I entered into season two with a heavy heart, not really into at all. Once I left I felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders and I finally felt a sense of peace. I feel bad that I stayed away from anyone or anything that had to do with housewives and that DID include Teresa but I had to do what was right for me to maintain my happiness and steer clear of any drama. Teresa and I saw each other when she came to my big Ladybug event and I supported her at her premier party but other than that it wasn’t much more.
During this time some things that I will NOT get into did happen behind the scenes with certain family members and there is no right or wrong really…it depends on who you ask. Feelings did get hurt…I won’t get into them because I have no desire to rehash the past that can only hurt my parents whom I adore. I would rather stay away from it than fight, that’s what works for me and guess what? that’s ok. You are allowed to avoid the negative, do what you have to do to keep your spirits up and your soul in tact. I also will not try to talk America into taking my side as some others may feel they have to in certain situations. There is no side here, this is a private matter there are 3 sides to every story remember…it depends on who you ask. It’s a shame this TV show used to be about our lives and now some lives are just about a TV show. That’s not how it should be…
All I will say is that I LOVE all my brothers and sisters nieces and nephews, there is 11 of us, 5 girls and I want nothing but the best for them and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I do hope they feel the same about me. If any of them needed me I would be there for them in a heartbeat. There are 11 of us, there is always someone fighting with someone at some point, that’s just the way it is with a big family. I have a sister that not only lives with me but works with me, I’m going to Europe with another sister in a few weeks…we all have our ups and downs and there are some of us that just gravitate towards one another because we are more alike, that doesn’t mean we hate the others or at least that’s how I feel. Ok back to the subject matter…
It wasn’t until VERY recently that Teresa showed up at my doorstep in tears…apparently Caroline & Jacqueline had a sit down with her on camera (for season 4) and she felt attacked. All I did was console a friend who was obviously shaken. I felt bad for her..even though I had distanced myself from her a bit I was still her friend and she needed me. I did miss my God daughter and the rest of her girls and I’m not proud to say that in staying away from her I had stayed away from them too. Within a few weeks I went to Teresa’s house to spend Audriana’s 2nd birthday with Teresa and her family. No camera’s, no drama just a nice family night the way things used to be…Teresa has been nothing but supportive of Project Ladybug through the years and is extremely supportive of my new show on HGTV. She tweets about it all the time AND watches when she can as a friend should.
Teresa then asked me to come to the launch of a new product that’s very important to her. I said yes of course but when I heard camera’s were going to be there I got a bit afraid. I had not attended any other events that were being filmed just to stay away from any potential drama that might go down. I wasn’t invited to any of them either but that’s besides the point lol. Anyway..I was so relieved when I saw on my schedule that I had an HGTV shoot that day and I would have to go late. I thought for sure the camera’s would be gone by then BUT they were not.
After tripping on the red carpet and losing my shoe ( just trying to give you a bit of drama to keep you interested, it was a FABULOUS shoe though) Teresa and I briefly spoke about her broken relationship with her brother on camera. I gave her my best advice and told her to focus on all the good in her life and if her brother is meant to be a part of her life again he will be one day. She mentioned the drama with her and Caroline and I told her that if this is all about a joke in a book (and she assured me it was) that’s not enough for me to hate the mother of my God daughter and a friend of 15 years. Was it necessary to write that stuff in her book? probably not but I don’t think it was written with malice either. We are all guilty of joking a little too much now & then…”Teresa jokes” were all over this season, everyone of them took their turn on talkin smack. I even joked on WWHL with Andy about “ingredients-es” (is that how you spell that?).
So there you have it, Teresa had nothing to do with me staying away from everyone, I even stayed away from her too and I have no clue about all the drama that went on with everything else. I’ll find out with the rest of you when the show airs and I usually catch it on a rerun because I’m working my butt off most of the time. With all of our filming schedules I had no opportunity to find out anyway even if thing were still as they use to be.
I feel bad that my relationship with my sister and her family is strained, but I can assure you that one day it will be back to the way it was. I don’t like fighting, I don’t like drama, I don’t like confrontation, I don’t agree with ganging up on someone (one of the other reasons why I left season 2) and I don’t need to share anymore than that. I am not on this show anymore, I didn’t sign on for opening up every aspect of my life to the world for the rest of my life when I signed that Bravo contract.
I wish all the girls the BEST!! ALL OF THEM. I say we change this housewives thing around and show the world what we’re really made of! Let’s lift each other up instead of trying to tear one another down. Lets showcase what women are capable of, what I thought this show was going to be back in the day~ Running successful businesses, supporting amazing causes, raising incredible children and looking fabulous every step of the way. Unfortunately, not sure what the ratings on that would be : ( so I doubt that will happen.
As far as I’m concerned I’ll keep doing what I’m doing and try my best to stay out of the fray. THIS IS THE LAST I WILL DISCUSS ANY OF THIS. I am so happy filming what I love to do, planning parties and decorating has it’s fair share of drama but no one is hurting anyone and that kind of drama is just fine with me. I’m completely focused on my new venture and yes, I’m going to use this opportunity for a shameless plug too. Tune into “Dina’s Party” on HGTV every Sat at 10pm est. I DIDN’T sell this story for THOUSANDS of dollars but Mama didn’t raise no fool either ; ) PEACE OUT!!

Dina is mellow, not a drama-starter, partcipator, or flame-fanner. Makes u think any rift between her and her sister from a different mister (face it, one is pretty, thin, and sweet, the other is gingy, lapbanded, and sour) is not anything to do with dina. My guess is she saw everyone, tree incl., play to cameras (on and off-season), manufacture drama and since this is what their lives were about now (tv/ fame)- she said dueces, call me when u get real.

I always knew Dina was the classiest of all the NJ Housewives. Not that that says much, no competition here really. I don’t know how much of Season 4 I will watch….probably none of it.

Bravo manipulation, hate Teresa or love her- they were unfair & too hard on her. She was the only one called out! How about really asking about Melissa chatting with Danielle? Or calling Caroline out for saying her daughters not beautiful when overweight! What??!! Why about their scandals?

The “not beautiful when she is fat” part REALLY bothered me. And if Bravo wants to make an impact(as if) on this bully situation then they needed to hold Don’s feet to the fire over that one. Often times in situations like that bulling starts at home with over baring cluless mothers. Ask ANYONE who has had an eating disorder I guess if Lauren was a gay fatty then Bravo Andy would’ve be trippin over his peetom to address it. Well there’s always Rosie who is not exactly small. That was an extremely harsh comment for Caroline to make about her daughter’s weight and if she really feels that way she should talk to the daughter in private not if front of 3 million people, that is humiliating and degrading and no ones business!

I think she was trying to tread on JillZ old storyline, ‘member when she sent her daughter to fat camp…. er…. um…. I mean allergy camp? or was it carpel tunnel camp? oh yeah thats right it turned out to be arthritis camp. nevermind ole Jillz didnt campitalize on her chunky(not really) daughter’s imperfection for a storyline after all.
And to be honest with you’ll I am very surprised that the other head biznatch of OC Vicki when her daughter started picking up weight. I suspect that the weight gain was what prompted the initial visit to the Dr for Briana’s thyroid. I am glad they caught it and glad that Vick stuck with her own love-tank for a storyline.

Also, does anyone else wonder what these people do for a living outside of Bravo. I would think that one day, if not now, they will need jobs. Would you really want this type of thing out there on line for eternity? What about if they some day were to reproduce (please, a pet rock would be best) would they want their child to see this?

reality: Did Dina REALLY tell us anything? You just wait and see… it’s gonna be just like I said. Tree and Dina are using each other… that’s the bottom line. Dina desperately needs some publicity for her HGTV show that’s tanking AND for Project Ladybug… and Tree needs to have Dina on her side as she has zero friends on RHONJ (as previously mentioned). Watch as Tree names her charity on Celebrity Apprentice: Project Ladybug. That is the ONLY reason Dina showed up at Tree’s wine launch party. TFC!! SH

It at least tells me that Caroline flat out lied about tre’s involvement. There are no emails. Not much contact at all. Caroline is on a smear campaign.
She didn’t say shit. It’s interesting that she gives passing mention to her behavior in Season 1 because she was the Leader of the Pack Vs. Danielle. She was a snotty a-hole from day one and Teresa clearly took her cues from her, regarding whether or not Danielle was one of the “cool kids”.
Her decision in Season 2 to go all Xanax-Mellow on us most likely stemmed from: Who wants to be involved/associate with a Charity run by a JERK?
Absolutely agree with your last sentence! I disliked Dina most of the first season and thought she was such a phony at the reunion. She redeemed herself in season 2 and I enjoyed watching her and sorry to see her go. I went to one of her Ladybug events in my area last year. I found her to be very unapproachable. Someone told her how much they respect and admire her for what she does etc etc and she responded with the salon contacted me to do this event. Wow, that is the response you give when this place is donating 100% of all services to your foundation? She seem like she didn’t want to be there. Anyway, I regained respect her this season for sticking up for Teresa.
Gawker just posted a blind item about this. I think SH guessed this right first, a long time ago. Great Job SH! I think we’ll all get the final confirmation when we find out what charity Teresa names. A part of me wants Teresa not to name Dina’s charity, just so that Dina can go postal.

i am sure i will be shot down for this, but i feel teresa is a master manipulator. she has pulled so much crap, no one person is perfect, none of them, yet hers just stinks of desperation and a NEED for acceptance. i don’t think caroline is percfect, but i think she has her feet much more firmly planted on the ground and it has nothing to do with her weight. i believe teresa is so into trying to sale herself and her familya s perfect and without fault and how italian she is that she has forgotten those her were her true friends and supporters. i also think she has a very, very sick obsession with her brother, i think she wishes he loved and idolized her the same way he does melissa. sorry if that offends anyone but she acts like a jealous ex when dealing with melissa.
I agree with you, and I will lose friends over this which I think is soo wrong, but I think there is no excuse for Tree being THAT stupid/ stoopid!!!!! Anyone can educate themselves/ reading/ watching the news/ going on the inernet, etc….. no excuse for Tree!!

I am was very close to my brother prior to his married and it wasn’t the same after. I would have to go through his wife for everything and my communicate with him was not the same. But I respected it and learn to replace my brother with his wife. It hurts, but that is life. Teresa tried with Melissa and she wasn’t having it, so that is when Teresa started getting nasty back. Melissa even admitted not returning Teresa’s calls and avoiding her. It’s like with a cult, you have to seperate the person from all their family and friends. The Marcos have full control of this poor man! I bet he pays mama Marco’s mortgage!
I have seen a similar situation like that play out in my life.. Having to go thru the wife for communication. Its really not normal. And it just makes other people more suspicious to what the wife’s end-game is. I have said before and I will say it again. Melissa needs to learn her place. or own that she does control Joey but just NOT AROUND GIA. Obviously her control is done in private and its more devious that way/
I think I accept it more because I am the little sister, where Tre is the big sister. Getting nasty or causing trouble is not worth it to me because my brother and his kids mean the world to me. My SIL gets the red carpet treatment from my parents and I. As I have posted before my husband’s sister is a pretty nasty person, so I can’t get a break! LOL!

MeGo is Gabriela’s godmother. Joe is possessive of Melissa and she is possessive of his money.
I think you’re right, she’s got issues with it. Plus, Melissa admits she’s very possessive. She already has impacted their relationship. Unless Gia turns on her own mother (which we all know Gia would not- she’s a really good kid & she knows Teresa loves her immensely) Melissa will not want Joey & Gia to be close.
Plus, agree Teresa & bros relationship was a little odd, but she does seem to believe his wife comes first. Why would you have a problem with it if Theresa did choose to support Project Ladybug? It sounds like it is making a very valuable contribution to children that are the most vulnerable. What charity do you feel would be more appropriate and why?
Hard to imagine that they are sisters! One exhibits grace, beauty, intelligence and compassion and the other, well, is Caroline. I have never seen her show but having read this blog I will check it out. I wish her success (I think she will handle it in a healthy manner!)
Yeah, I thought Dina’s explanation was about as clear as mud. Not that she owes us an explanation but if you are going to be so vague, then why say anything? People will just continue to speculate. I do think she values her relationship with Caroline and leaves the door open for mending fences. Agree with SH that Teresa and her are probably using each other.

No one really knows these women or what is REALLY going on with them. Ms SH you say Dina didn’t really tell us anything, but she did. She made it abundantly clear that Caroline was using her rift with Dina as another vendetta against Teresa when that was not the case at all. I’m sure she watched Teresa getting ganged up on with no one to back her side of things & she was tired of her older sister dictating everything.
I did kinda think she explained her departure and cleared t’s name as far as her alienation from her sister was concerned. I guess that was what I took away from it. And DonC pointedly blamed t when she said “I’m looking at it(her)”….which seems to be a blatant lie along with those purported emails(?)….the rest may have been “fluff”

I agree. Teresa was deplorable at the reunion. She is insane. The only ‘evil’ the other 3 did was allowing Tre to throw up all over herself on TV.
I could not tell if Melissa was goading Teresa or actually trying to make her stop when she was scolding her. At any rate, Melissa made Teresa look like a child and Melissa didn’t act like she was enjoying having to do that.
Oh Melissa surely was enjoying that. Mels problem is she doesn’t not know her place in the family. No way in hades would I ever allow my baby SIL to come into my place of employment and reprimand me.

I was under the impression that Dina quit the show because of Danielle. That Danielle was trying to get Dina’s daughter taken from her for being a bad mother. No?
Supposedly Danielle contacted Dina’s Ex and told him that Dina had forged his signature on the release for their daughter to be on the show along with the producers with the show.
I am sure Jaqueline was the one that told Danielle that.
I have to agree with KayGrace… No one knows these women and for sure the only time we’ve ever heard of ‘poor Caroline who loves her sister’ is FOR THE CAMERAS. They’re ALL for the cameras…. everything they say, do, feel, emote… for the cameras. So… yes, I think Dina made it very clear that Caroline lied once again – without actually saying that.
As for Tre being ganged up on, she deserves it to an extent, but seriously… what exactly did she do to these women to deserve ALL of them ganging up on her? And their ugly kids (I mean the adult ones) along with their ugly gay friend? She made a few comments in a stupid book that she ‘thought’ were funny. That’s it. Personally – for the camera – we didn’t see her do anything to anyone except maybe complain about her family members. Her bankruptcy and other filings were none of their business anyway so THAT’S not justification

I thought it was very telling when Teresa said she couldn’t think of anything she said about Melissa that she regrets. Teresa gets no sympathy from me. She is a horrible person.
I actually respected her for saying it. She own up to what she said. Melissa said the worst think she said was they pay their bills. No she said worse and was negative about Teresa any chance she got. I followed her facebook for a while and she is nasty!
I gotta say that cracked me up when MeGo brought out all the things on her phone she thought Tree should take back and was shell shocked when Tree took back just the one.
Btw I remember u saying that about MeGo, the sisters and the mom talking ish on fb… I looked on MeGo’s mom’s the other day and she really cleaned her pg. It’s basically a MeGo fb fan pg. Gag
Did you take a quick glance or did you keep going through and looking? Also there is a difference what you can see as a friend and want the public can see. For example you can’t see all her photo and what people post unless you are her friend. When someone posted an anti-Teresa post she would comment or like it. Any bad article about Tre she would post. I am sure Lysa is on her (and a commenter), so maybe she told her mom to clean-up her page, so look like a semi-good mom.

Well supposedly, Teresa has done done outrageously horrible back-stabbing thing to Jacqueline! Remember y’all?! Thats why poor, innocent, wounded Jacqueline couldn’t bring herself to join the cast at Reunion!! She’s so upset over whatever evil Teresa did the night before they taped the Reunion special that she couldn’t bring herself to sit in front of Theresa on the couches…isn’t that what the all knowing, cross bearing Caroline said?? Dina wrote a very nice essay. However, she failed to answer the question posed which was, “why are you not talking to Caroline?” If this were her midterm, she’d really have to kill the final to pass the class.
I do, however, have to give Dina mad props for slyly throwing Tree under the bus. Basically she said she didn’t talk to Tree for months (cause she didn’t want anything to do with HWs) and made it seem like Tree came looking for an ally when Jax and The Don ganged up on her. Lots of nice words about Tree, and Tree is too stupid to get it, no one comes out looking good in that essay other than Dina. Well played!

Bottom line Blood is thicker than water; Dina is in a tough spot; but going back to “The Book” maybe is wasn’t malice; but it was rude ;not a joke! Teresa was a disgrace on the Reuion show; the way she treated everyone. I think Caroline is having a lot of regret knowing she should have detatched from Teresa along time ago; I think Andy had every right to call Teresa out; someone has to; in the end when Andy asked about any regrets Teresa actions spoke out loud! Teresa is toxic; rumor has it she is let go from the Apprentice early on, don’t know if that’s a result of her lovely personality or her high IQ and business skills. I do wonder what Danielle thinks about all this; I am not a Danielle fan but man talk about what goes around comes around this is crazy! The “truth” if you pay attention to other blogs, is that when Dina made the decision to “resign” from the show she urged Caroline to do the same.
Caroline refused, possibly because she saw this as a “launching pad” for Brave Albie and Clown Chris to secure their own show which we know was once in the works. Bravo apparently took a closer look at what these two non entertainers brought to the table and passed. So much for Mommy turning them into “stars”.
Dina was always about having her own show since she agreed to that wedding video on VH1. But the show was “crowded” with enough lunatics that she was essentially pushed aside in favor of the Danielle drama and the “wisdom” of Caroline along with her brood of non starters and Dina refused to play second fiddle.
This is what they are reporting as the “reason” behind the break between Caroline and Dina and had little to do with Teresa although I can see her interfering as it went along. It is also said that Albie and Critterfer are actually living off the proceeds of their Bravo paycheck which is why we have seen them more often this season then in the past. They are practically in every scene and at every event over the course of Season 3 waiting to be catapulted into fame along with their roommate Greg who is the “token gay” on the show.
Take it for what it is worth but that is supposedly the background of the breakdown between Dina and Caroline.
Now THIS makes sense!
Slightly off-topic, but someone at another board I visit posted a clip from Dina and Tommy’s “Big Fat Fabulous Wedding” on VH1. I’ve never seen Tommy before, and this gay man found him more flamboyant than a gaggle of rainbow lorikeets on Liberace’s patio.

An insider (?) posting at Reality Tea as PM2901 claims that in order to keep Dina on her side publicly, Teresa is blackmailing her with information about Tommy and his current mistress. The source is claiming that his current affair is a shocker and that all the sordid details will come out soon. I wonder what’s so scandalous here since Tommy’s cheating is old news and Dina even mentioned it on the VH1 show. PM2901 did specify “mistress,” so apparently there’s no gay angle.
Split, MS.SH has the entire wedding up above in her mast head. Dina even admits, with Tommy sitting there, that he has cheated on her. To have her closet, I’d have the woman over for dinner, and wish them both well.

I thought the rumor was that Dina didn’t want to leave the RHoNJ but wanted to get Danielle fired. Dina wanted Don Caro and Jax to threaten to leave too figuring Bravo couldn’t risk losing 3/5s of the cast, so Bravo would boot Danielle. But Don Caro and Jax refused to go along with Dina so Dina was left hanging in the wind. Dina was pissed and hasn’t talked to Don Caro or Jax since. Least that’s what I read.

And yes, the Oprah special on downlow men. So based only on that and the Platinum Wedding show, I say Tommy Manzo is NOT gay. Actually, he seemed a little hyper and too skinny. Now maybe that comes from working a lot and being active, or coffee, or some other substance (wink, wink) but I never got the gay vibe from him. If I had to guess, I’d say he was a happy bachelor playing the field – in that Gerard Butler manwhore way – but decided he needed a wife and Dina was handy. Well, those are my two cents.
I didn’t think Tommy is gay based on the wedding. I do wondered why they never had kids and why she is always in the Hamptons on the weekends.

I just think they have a different kind of marriage. Tommy had to be in his mid to late 30s when he got married. When you go that long living the single life, and living on your own while working a lot, you get set in your ways and like it. You may not necessarily want a spouse you see everyday or do everything with. And kids can be a drag. Now I’m not saying the rumors aren’t true, but I also don’t think they must be true.
I don’t blame Dina for bouncing, then stating clear of any of them!!!
Caroline is the worst & it makes sense that they would have problems – Caroline only talks with 8 of the 11 siblings.
Teresa is no walk in the park, but Dina’s blog also proves what b.s. Caroline was dishing when trying to blame Teresa for their problems. Caroline can’t take responsibility with her own family, yet keeps socking her nose in Teresa’s.
It makes no sense & is another reason know-it-all Caroline needs to go far, far, far away.
Went on blindgossip.com early this morning and saw a blind for “Friendship Trumps Family”. It’s definitely everything we have been talking about on this website. I answered it, but am still awaiting moderation for my guess. Maybe saying “this one is already solved”, is keeping me in limbo. I’m being posted around with other guesses, but none is about number 1 Teresa Guidice, number 2 Dina Manzo and number 3 Caroline Manzo. But obviously it’s being speculated on.
Go check it out and see if it isn’t them, I guessed second, not even sure if my reply can be seen by anyone but me…since I’m awaiting moderation (whatever that means).

Cleary Dina is in a different place and chooses to live a Drama free life, for a life filled with more purpose than belittling other people, she is a beautiful woman and I have alot of respect for her and her causes she represents
I liked Dina’s blog..she didn’t throw Caroline or Jac even one bone LOL..and so what if Dina and Teresa are helping each other out professionally. I’m happy for both of them
