Once Alex got on Real Housewives of New York, that hotel job was wavin’ at me in my rearview mirror… well, the cab’s rearview mirror.
There was a rumor that Simon van Kempen, husband of Alex McCord of the Real Housewives of New York, actually worked… that he had a job…in a hotel. That rumor is now fact. Watch as Simone does his stuff as General Manager of the Hotel Chandler…
What does Bethenny have against keeping a hubbend and wife together? It is just so obvious that B didn’t want Simone to be by his wife’s, Alex McCord, side… forever and ever on the Real Housewives of New York.
And… Bethenny also heard that Simone had a job at the hotel…

If that promotional video of The Chandler was Simone’s idea of effective marketing then that fool been drinkin. ooops.
If I remember correctly at the start of RHONY, Bravo gave the impression the Simon OWNED a hotel, never said where. I’m sure that was the introduction to Simon…anyone remember that?
i think i remember they always said he “ran” it. Being the general manager at a huge hotel like that would pay a lot, but lets face it if he OWNED it they would be living on the upper east side…
Right. So as manager,he had to have been in charge of giving the OK on that low-rent video for the hotel and it shows how truly oblivious he is if he actually thought it came off looking anything close to acceptable. Maybe he pocketed the advert dollars that The Chandler allotted and put the funds into his re-renovated Brooklyn apartment hence the low budget production of this little gem??

And I’d like the hotel by seeing the video. Simon just doesn’t bug me anymore. I kind of get a kick out of that couple.
okie doke. But how much you reckon a “swanky’ place like that goes for per night? I would not be willing to pay more than $100 per night based on that video. Mr Bodett can just leave the light on fer me.

I wonder if the reason he was “asked to leave ” ,that no one is allowed to talk about. is because of those icky nude photots of his wife that were taken in the hotel lobby. Remember too when they were renovating their house and were all sleeping in the same room in those weird little bunk beds with curtians and Jill asked “why don’t you just stay in your hotel till the renovations are finished” they never answered. Either he was already gone or hans and franz were banned from the hotel.
