Kathy Wakile’s blog… here. Kathy gives all non-Catholics the reason for the seven fishes Christmas Eve dinner. Here’s what’s puzzling, though… they’re all so “Catholic,” but none of them mentions attending Mass. Yes, they can go on Christmas Day; however, it’s traditional to attend midnight Mass on Christmas Eve. (Sign of the cross, “Thank you Jesus,” blowing kisses to the sky or whatever… )
Kathy also relates some interesting back story re Teresa and JoGo’s father and how he got to the US…
“During one of my father’s visits back to Italy to see his sister, my dad decided he was going to sponsor my Uncle Giacinto to come to America. After all he was still single and didn’t have any attachments in Italy. It was a great opportunity for him to have a more successful future. When my Uncle Giacinto came to this country he lived with us. I still remember those days like they were yesterday. Whenever I see Joey Gorga and Gia together it sparks great memories in me, because my siblings and I were equally fond of my uncle.”

“I am running out of things to write about Ashley. It isn’t even fun anymore. It’s painfully obvious that Jacqueline and Chris are exceptional parents. To see Ashley treat them this way week after week makes me not even want her on the show. She isn’t even fun to root against anymore. Note to Tree: “my little brother”… are you serious? Maybe that is the problem. Stop thinking of JoGo as your “little brother” and start thinking of him as an adult man… an adult, responsible human being.

“Finally, I wanted to clear up all those nanny rumors out there. I read in more than one place that I have two nannies, a live in maid, and a cook…. Not true! You saw Silvina, who was our au pair for six months on the show. She was here from Argentina going to school and babysitting for me whenever I needed her to. She is so beautiful, I actually can’t believe I let a young girl that beautiful live in my house ( that’s so not like me)! She was so sad that night because she missed her family… It was going to be her first Christmas without them. I brought her with us because I didn’t want her to be alone. We treated her like she was our teenage daughter. We loved her. She went back to Argentina about four months ago and we haven’t had another nanny since. I do the cooking and cleaning in my house just like the rest of the world. So it’s not true that I have an army of help.”

I was thinking the same thing, but Jay was on the road. I’m sure his priority is his act. When I saw how quickly he knocked out this week’s blog, I gave up on the last. Bravo should have stayed out of it and let Jay speak for himself IMO.

OKay……Tree is just bound and determined to make her relationship with her brother seem as creepy as possible. Her brother was the aggressor on the dance floor; that’s not even debatable. That she views it differently is disturbing.
And what the hell would Juicy care if Joe was grinding his sister in law(s). Why would he be angered by it? He wouldn’t. His insanely jealous sister would.
Jay is spot on with Assley. What a waste of time. She was so transparent last night, thinking she could make Chris feel bad by cueing the waterworks. All he said was, “Be responsible” and the crying started. So pathetic.
Ashley and her crying has been driving me NUTS! So much so that I even Tweeted her directly about it, but the more that I think about it the more I think that she is doing it ON PURPOSE.
Crying is drama and drama equals screen-time.
The terrible thing is that Ashley is obviously self-taught in her “technique”.
The device that she uses, (every frikken time), is she speaks in her, “constipated”-voice, and whatever conversation she is having she just drags it down in that voice until voila, crying.
So annoying!
And note: Even with the 10lbs. of eye make-up, rarely any actual raccoon tears (like last night). She just dabs at the inner corner.

I agree! Ashley is obviously just emotional all the time because she is hurting from being a product of divorce. However, Her stepdad obviously loves her and “Likes” her as well. If she doesn’t know the difference between not liking someones behavior vs not liking someone as a person, then she needs to go back to school. Who the heck would like her behavior, she’s a spoiled brat. How ungrateful is she? Her stepdad bought her a brand new car!! If he didn’t like her then he wouldn’t have done that! I sure as hell never got a brand new car from my real dad!!! She needs to grow up and move out and stop treating her parents like shit, and take responsibility for her behavior!
Ev erytime a get an alert and it starts with Ashley, I think everyone is talking about me. Is that weird? I ask my dad(really step dad but I call him dad because he has been there since I was a toddler.) how come you don’t buy my affection like Chris? His response: because 1) you know I love you 2) I pay the phone bill 3) I raised you to have a brain and common sense. The only spoiled brat in the family is your brother.

Alex shouts from the mountains how horrible LuAnn and Jillz are to her yet her two friends Ramona and Sonja have said and done things to her that are far worse and more humiliating just like her good friend Bethany who made fun of her all the time behind her back but the second Bethany needed her to get back at Jillz Alex jumped in with both feet regardless of the bad blood between them. Its just hard to swallow her hypocrisy as she trys to repremand others while she lets her “friends” treat her just as crappy.

While I agree Kim G. wants attention – Don Caro should have let Mel and Joe deal with the situation. It wasn’t her place to do what she did– maybe it’s the “southerner” in me but rude is rude. I would have thrown the Manzos out had they done that at my party.
Have to say that Melissa isn’t the issue with Joey and Tree. Hearing Tree and Joe make snide remarks kinda validates what Mel said. Again I am Team Melissa — She may have delusions of being a singer with a promising career but she’s out pimping her kids like Tree Ape pimps Gia and her husband isn’t scamming people left and right.

I love how NOW she’s saying she was just “trying to be cordial” to Kim G.” when she stood there with Kim G. like a groupie the whole time and took part in a full blown bash session with her cousin not even 3 feet away. Such a “good Christian”!

Got sucked into reading Kathy’s blog–ugh, it was like running through mud. Basically she used her Bravo platform to be sure the world knows it was HER family who made Tree and JoGo’s existance in America possible. She relished sharing how her family even HOUSED the immigrant parents of Tree + JoGo, provided opportunity for their father, etc. Kathy wants us to know that Tree has bitten the hand that fed; as in literally- FED. Teresa must have been one unbearable diva to these people over the last few years of her TV success to warrant this kind of payback. *re: MeGo’s sisters: she should be careful because it’s her turn next.
Well, we can say what we want about Alex, but it turns out she’s a whole lot smarter than Tree or Don Caroline. Now I can hear you wondering “WHO, what and why are you talking about??” It’s in the blogs!! Don Caroline apologizes for hers being late, because she was in Chicago over the weekend attending a gay wedding (although she was LIVE on WWHL wasn’t she?? So she got back Sunday??) And Tree, it turns out, was also in Chicago–although probably not attending a gay wedding or we woulda heard about it. So hers comes out even after Don Caroline’s. Alex, on the other hand, posted her blog the other day from CAIRO, EGYPT. She alone of the three remembers that the internet (Thank you, Al Gore, two-fingered-kiss-to-the-sky) is the world wide web and does not end at the NY or NJ border.
So, Tree and Don Caroline, pay attention, you do not actually have to BE in NJ to post your blog!!
Tre was with Caroline at Caroline’s brother’s wedding. But in their defense, they was at a family function. I for one cannot get work done (let alone think) before, during, and a little after a function like that.
So Don Caro went to Chicago for her brother’s commitment ceremony? Something tells me she took some Bravo cameras with her (and her baby-thugs and Jax and Tree) and that we’ll see ANOTHER Laurita (her brother) on the RHoNJ next season.

I can’t ever get all the way through one of Jax blogs. I usually start dozing off around page 2. She’s so blah and her neutral stance on everything is annoying. I think you can pretty much put a fork in the Trashley story line, it’s done. Send her to boot camp and move on. Jax needs a hobby or something. I mean I wonder what she does all day besides carry the baby on her hip and make coffee… she’s gotta be bored out of her mind.
Jax must have been talking about the Manzo side of the family not showing up at Caro’s due to the cameras. We all know that the easiest way to catch a Laurita is to tell them they will be a camera present.
Also, BS! We all know they weren’t actually taping on Christmas Eve.
good point about not filming on Christmas Eve. So the “fight” we are gearing up for next week -will JoGo say at his sister’s or go to his cousin’s for Christmas eve?- is all made up bs too.
So that’s why they didn’t bust out the girls vs boys ham game…. Instead we got to listen to Ashley… It may be July, but I’m buying her a violin for Christmas!
yeah truth be told they filmed “Manzo Christmas” the week after “GorgaThanksgiving” so….that means Assley prolly did get to go see her “real” dad for Christmas. And has anyone ever gotten the actual dollar amount numbers that the Gorga St Joseph benefit party raised? I know that production tried to make it seem like alot of presents were collected but judging by the number of guest vs the number of presents it appears that alot of those folks showed up empty handed.
AND…..the Marco sister were prolly the first raccoon faced empty handers to show up.
