This is hysterical! KimG, the Gladys Kravitz of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, called her local paper, the Jersey Journal, to feed the paper “breaking news.” KimG’s ‘breaking news’ was to tell them that she would not be participating as a contestant in the Mrs. New Jersey/Mrs. America pageant.
Yes, of course I’m going to enter the Mrs. America pageant and I’m gonna win! I mean, look at me… this is beauty pageant material right here.
But, KimG was NEVER going to be a contestant in the Mrs. New Jersey pageant as the first rule to enter the Mrs. America pageant states: ’Entrant must be married as of the date of entry and throughout the competition.’
The rules state that all entrants must be married, not living with someone…
However, KimG’s breaking news, major announcement, the big scoop that she promised the Jersey Journal knowing that she was ineligible was crafted into a ‘legitimate’ article… read and laugh!
“I’m bowing out, I’m not going to do it,” Granatell informed us Monday night, after clarifying what story we were on call to receive. “I got feedback from an anonymous source that the contestants are not happy there’s a possibility I can win.”
Are you legally married right now? Well no, but just look at me, I’m perfect stuff for a beauty pageant…
After considering how she might devastate her fellow competitors, who year after year use their own money to pay the pageant’s $700 entry fee before spending thousands of dollars on hair and make-up, gowns and swimsuits — much of which the well-connected Granatell could acquire for free — she decided to drop out, but not before forgiving them their jealousy. (Wasn’t it kind of KimG to forgive the contestants for their jealousy of her???) “There’s nothing wrong with them having this dream. I don’t want to upstage them.”
She still wants to remain involved to promote her support for the Emmanuel Cancer Foundation, a charity that would have been her platform were she to remain as a contestant, and to repair damaged relationships with contestants sure to be offended by this story, before encountering them again at New Jersey Fashion Week possibly coming to Hoboken later this fall.
After learning that she was ineligible to enter the Mrs. America pageant, KimG high kicked this beauty winner and snatched the crown off her head. KimG wears the crown only in her house to the delight of her live-in, who loves to play beauty pageant… he’s the announcer and she walks around in her bathing suit, with the crown on her head, of course…
“I will be a judge as well as walk in it,” Granatell said of next October’s festivities, the mixer for which kicked off this well-crafted controversy. “These contestants attend and I don’t want to create bad feelings.”
NOTE: Here’s a suggestion: Kelly Murro should enter the Mrs. American pageant… Kelly’s married, right???

How old is this lady? she looks in her 50′s. She did a number on Danielle and that’s because I can’t stand her either but played both sides of the fence and quite frankly in the end, Danielle was dumped on and this person walked scott free. Disgusting!
