Obviously this takes place at a Home Show and the contractor thought Tree would attract business to his kiosk… well, she was busy signing books. Tree should have brought Juicy along with her to the Home Show… isn’t Juicy an out-of-work general building contractor? He could have looked for a j-o-b in his line of work while Tree was scribbling ‘love, love, love’ on her plagiarized recipe book.
